LONGS, SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW: BBDA's market is bigger--much bigger--than the company knows. Very few people know, and big pharma does not want the public to know, that Melatonin (the same ingredient in Koma Unwind and Relax 5) provides relief from the symptoms of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) AKA acid reflux disease. There are currently no companies marketing Melatonin-containing products for the treatment of GERD. They only target the rest and relaxation beverage market. Why ignore the other market?

Doctors currently prescribe proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) for GERD, peptic ulcers, and h pylori. Examples of PPIs include Prilosec, Prevacid, Aciphex, Protonix, Nexium, and Omeprazole. This market is HUGE. I discovered by accident that sleep aids containing melatonin also relieved my acid reflux symptoms much better than PPIs and without the side effects. My acid reflux was so bad that doctors prescribed as high as triple the dose of PPI daily! Since discovering the effects of melatonin, I have gotten completely off PPIs. I take a daily dose of a gummy sleep aid containing melatonin. I look forward to using BBDA's melatonin-containing beverage products.

Don't believe me? The connection between melatonin and acid reflux and lower esophageal sphincter (LES) can be googled and verified on the internet. There are also a few studies posted on the internet confirming melatonin's ability to relieve symptoms of acid reflux disease.

A clever company would not ignore the acid reflux market, but would steal the market from big pharma. Melatonin is cheaper to manufacture than PPIs and is considered a dietary supplement rather than a drug. Think about the money such a company would save for the healthcare industry. I think BBDA can be that company, if they knew this market existed.

Just my opinion.

Disclosure: I am long BBDA and don't suffer from acid reflux disease as much as I use to since taking melatonin. As always, check with your doctor first if you are considering switching to melatonin.

Go BBDA!!!
