My god, is this Marcus (abew4me). Well at least you have found another potentially good stock to follow. This is a 'time will tell' winner in my opinion. Establishment of a new mining operation has many pitfalls. I do beleive if it were not for approvals/paperwork/enviornmenly aspects it is a sure technical and money making operation. I ignore the battery business. Just plain sell Mg in any form cheaper than anyone else can is the basic key.
I'm still atco1982 and still have a stack of ABEW warrants. I'm now living in Italy. fndhobbs@gmail.com .
Looked at the Artillery Peak area on Google Earth. Seems that they have updated their satelite immages and now the 2012 views show all of the new roads and drill roads.
Take a look.

Bloomberg Reverse Merger Index
Bouncing along the bottom. After the 2011 collapse, for good reasons, it is either as far down as it can go or it is seeing some bottom feeding? There must be some 'gems' in there somewhere.

According to Juniper Research's =
latest mobile research report, the global mobile operators need to spend the next five years, nearly $ 840 billion to solve its serious bottleneck in the backhaul network.
????????????????????,??????????????????,???????????????????????? As the rapid development of user data services and wireless access network data traffic growth, operators need to quickly assess their needs for mobile backhaul, and to ensure that current or future return to the city network products to meet those needs.

A logical next step, but
how is Mexico going?
So this is what I've been waiting for ?
With an annual PE of 1.5 and a likely forward PE of 1 (that's one as in one) it is up 7% to 1.13. Wow, there is really no confidence in any China stock even the ones involved in simplist businesses.
On GWMGF -
You know my real concern is politics over facts. It's not the real water use or waste management, it's the EPA on a new start mining operation, especially 'this' EPA even in mining friendly Arizona.
Yes, AMYZF is a 'possible' but -
the water and waste products are a big consideration, at least as long as this EPA is in power. I think GWMGF, a rare earth stock in South Africa, is a an equal 'possible'. Of course they are under the threat of nationalization of the mining industry. It seems that both of these potential block busters have some problems to overcome but worth watching.
TSTC - And may I add -
The 'Mexican deal'. From TSTC IHub board, 2 Sept.
"The Mexican deal is with Telmex/America Movil, the largest mobile phone company in Latin America.
Telestone has said that the deal is expected to happen. It is for 100,000 square feet of buildings.
Discussed here: http://www.telestone.com/new.asp?id=199
Due to America Movil's near monopoly, a successful project could mean game over.
Let's keep our fingers crossed.
More info on Telmex: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telmex ."
And in response to burrpps question if the deal will happen, on
18 Aug. a response from choateandharvard;
"its GOING to happen. I know someone close to it all and its very close to happening and if its a go....its HUGE in size ."
And in closing, a forward PE of 1 is low even for these beaten down, untrusted, Chinese stocks. But this one with offices in 28 countries and lots of non-China sales is very likely able to overcome the 'smell' from the other China stock problems.
And where is your account that allows you to buy?
10Q 0n Aug. 15, correct ?
Something must be said about the expansion.
That should scare some companies and the banks.
That should help in the future, assuming that the accounting is correct. But it seems the biggest problems are with the banks by lending/pledging customers cash. This is a nice trick as it can profit on the reserves which are to be held in reserve. Waiting for some real regulation on banks.

History and IBD thinks earnings on 16 Aug. -
joenatural is expecting a press release today announcing release tomorrow. He may be right, but historically they have released on the last day. Note the IBD item below. NASDAQ shows recent 4M shares short of 21M in the float. Haven't noticed much buying volume to change this. Could be a good bounce coming.
http://www.investors.com/StockResearch/StockNews/Earnings-Report-Focus/-Gulf-Resources-Inc-GURE.aspx
If you had a company requiring Bromide, why wouldn't you buy from your other comapny since it is a basic comidity? Did GM buy generators from Delco?
I think a recent pronouncement by Burp or Joenatural (can't remember which one) that they had some data on GURE is positive. I suspect that Struftepete1 (who lives in Taiwan) and has contancts on the mainland, has some data on production. Some of it has been posted here. I suspect good earnings and for a company with a PE of 1.6 that should have some positive results.
I know, I know, 'Think', 'suspect', too much guesswork here. Yes, but with China that's all we have most of the time.
Summary from 'Cape News' -
03 Aug 2011: Rare Earth Minerals Mining At Steenkampskraal
RARE earth minerals to be mined at Steenkampskraal about 350 km north of Cape Town are to be processed in the Western Cape before they are exported to meet the growing world demand for these elements used in high tech industries.
In addition it now seems likely that “tailings” from Namakwa Sands titanium mine near Saldanha will also be processed at the plant to extract yet more rare earth minerals.
The Canadian company, Great Western Minerals, will run the separation plant in a joint venture with the Chinese company Ganzhou Qiandong. GWM will have a 75 percent stake in the project and the Chinese firm will own 25 percent of the plant and supply much to the expertise.
Total investment in the mine and the separation plant should be in excess R400 million.
China dominates the rare earth minerals industry and controls 95 percent of current world supplies.
Rare earth minerals are essential for a range of high tech industries from smart phones to hybrid cars. Permanent magnets made from the minerals are very much stronger and lighter than conventional iron magnets and have made smaller and more powerful electric motors possible as well as efficient wind turbines.
According to Mining Weekly, the Steenkampskraal plant should be producing 2 700 tonnes a year by 2013 and this will increase to 5 000 tonnes. Processing tailings from Namaqua Sands and other mining activities should increase output to 10 000 tonnes a year.
A second Canadian Company, Frontier Rare Earths, owns the old Zandkopsdrift mine in Namaqualand. The mine has been described as a significant resource both in terms of the quantity and the quality of the deposit and the open cast mine is expected to produce 20 000 tonnes a year when it goes into production.
These developments should open up opportunities for South African high tech companies who will have access to the rare earth products.
Well Timothy, GWMGF has good news and the South African Mine Minister talks of mine nationalization. Bummer! Many China banks are corrupt and lend customers cash. The US is closing on debt of 100% on GDP. Soon Zimbabwe will be on our preferred list of countries in which to invest. BTW, can't wait for the pilot plant results for AMYZF. Proof of the extraction technology and the fact that it is patented, is what will make the stock go. That is if the EPA doesn't interfere.
Retired - DDD, everyday a weekend.
MLLOF, Need to go to Stockhouse.ca for a good board.
On my 'unusual' volume theory -
On the last trading day of the year in 2008, I was watching LRAD (then ATCO, a stock I had watches since 1982, therefore my alias) and it had unususal volume. I bet, with shares purchased, that they had a New Years party and announced that they had the first profitable quarter. What the hell else would produce such activity on the last trading day of the year? Stock was 0.30. I was right. By mid-Jan. it was 2.50.
SNGX - Can only guess on the FDA process -
Either 0.05 or $1.50, no approval or approval. Just looking for that early indication based on 'unusual' volume. A LEAK.
Wish I had some more 'tips' -
I keep a watch list and look for unusual volume on no news. My theory is some insiders always know something and get thier grandmother to buy for them.
MLLOF - Been looking at all of the rare earth plays. They traveled to Switzerland, likely for investor money, and are looking for monzinite tailings from existing mining operations that can be more quickely processed than the Molycorp hard rock. When they report one, a jump.
TXIC - No audited 10Ks for some time. Was $10.00, now $1.70. Presenting at a conference on the 17th. Makes stamped car parts. Many plants and working on a Ford contract. Very shaky, but ???
AMYZY - Sure you all follow Value1008 on that one. Artillery Peak is only 50 miles from me.
BFAR - Looking for a 10Q or 10K that finally reports that 'supposed' $35M as cash. (For all cash is worth if the bank has lent your cash out and it can't be found, al-la CCME and many others.)
LPH - Expect earnings will provide the added 10.0M (I think that's the number) to finally close the deal on the acquisition of the facility that will greatly increase their capacity.
That's the only possible 'pop' stocks I watch closely.
OT: Something to watch while you wait for AMY -

Am guessing at the results:
Either we (the SEC) get full investigative approval, or no Chinese stocks may be US listed.
Beats the hell out of me;
It could mean a restructuring, going to HK exchange, going private, going dark, share buybacks, and about thirty other possibilities which I can't even dream up.
Situation froma Yahoo poster:
No source of this information provided, but it's logical:
"DTC has a global lock down on the shares of CCME because there is at this time no registered transfer agent responsible for the counts, legitimacy, registration, etc. of the shares in the U.S. This could mean many things in the real world, but basically at this point no one can deliver share to anyone else, so all the trading you are seeing is occurring within brokerage houses and not between different houses."
Interesting. Each broker has his own rules. Understand that, but CCME is like many other pink sheet stocks now. Why is it being locked out, can sell not buy, but price doesn't go down if all are sellers, and I see buys at the ask? This does require an explanation by someone in the SEC.
Hope your right. And yes, I'm questioning real changes. Too late for me.
Will these 'approved' accounting firms be allowed to carry weapons into banks to get the 'accurate' cash data from them? It's not just the accounting firms (if it ever was) it's also the under the table, off the books, cash manipulations that distorts the accounting. What will they do with the banks? Answer, nothing.
Scottrade same, 0.00/1.95
Anybody think 3M short interest is correct ?
AMY had a 10 second ad on FOX business about an hour ago.
Favorite comment on the MW news:
Copied from Yahoo, but I liked it:
Wow, great news for the sector. My favorite phrase is the one that says that the SEC would "require disgorgement of ill-gotten gains with prejudgement interest".
Disgorgement - ouch!!! that sounds extremely painful!!!
Too bad it was a hoax.
Link please as there are a hundred categories in which it might reside.
Makes one wonder what type of an audit it really takes when the bank is in on the fraud. Maybe thumb screws for the bank managers is the only way?
