It does make sense why the stock is not at 20. The shorts ran it up to 20 and then took all your money on the way down
Many times over dinner with JM I can tell you he is very closed mouth, when he is ready to make an announcement , he will
Based on the years of my investment, my starting point might be 50 a share. I feel there is no end to the possibilities this stock could reach. I also feel that just licensing agreements could put this stock in the 250 range
I have been here since Fred And Andrew came to us to fund them. I am pushing eighty and have no intention of selling to let shorts pick up any of my shares which is extensive
As a founder of Lightwave with over a million shares in my family I along with several other founders whom have not ever sold Controlling over 3 million shares I would like to know whom they are borrowing from
You are correct in your assessment on 100. I along with several others funded Fred and Andrew when they came to UCMT. Our group continued to fund Light wave at every raise. None that I know of are going to sell. 100i is a fair assessment. A split iid going to be necessary if they want institution investors to come in. Hold your shares we are in for a great ride
Gates as one who has been with Lightwave from the first day
Queen introduced myself and several others to Fred and Andrew and
the future to become Lightwave began there has been many many
ups and downs. I remember when first on the pink sheet it was at
the 5 dollar range. That did not last long as several individuals
somehow were able to cash in in restricted stock running the pps
down way below a dollar/ Since then the stock as run up several
times to three dollars and as high as a dollar eight at another
time. What you are seeing now is old money bought in like myself
at 1.16 1,20 1,34 1.70 etc cashing in after so many years of
supporting the company. Can you blame them. I am up in my 70s
and first invested when I was 61, a long time holding and reinvesting in every raise to keep the company afloat, I never sold
and continue to hold to this day. The problem with Lightwave is
management and the board do not have a clue that their responsibility is to their shareholders with updates on a more
timely manner. They have a great pr manager in Cordavano but Steve
can only release what they give him and that has not happened as you
can see no press release from the overseas meeting to date. Buy the
way rumor has it Steve is done at the end of this year at a loss
to the company with his experience as a hedge fund manager that
has been hampered with being pushing us forward. Marcellies attitude
to the stock is people buy and people sell, Need I say more. Stick
with Lightwave in time we will all be winners in spite of lackluster
management
Phil Smith was a real folksy guy. Myself and another large investor
had dinner with him and Jim at the Hilton. He was constantly
pumping Jim about getting the stock up, which we all wanted but
as it turned out he needed the money to keep his two 30000 square
foot homes going, which the banks finally took. I guess he felt he
was owed this information since he brought Jim into the company. He dumped close to a million shares of Lightwave stock just as he did to his sons company Taser taking their stock from a hundred a share to less
than ten. He was the most unqualified board member in my opinion to serve with Lightwave. He was no different than the greedy individuals that just took us from the mid 80 cent range to mid 40s. Just hearing his name gives me a knot in my stomach.
Gentlemen something interesting I just learned from my broker.
For so many years I could not understand why so very few shares
were purchased by the board and management considering all the great news coming out from time to time. She informed me that
warrents or options in a buyout that have not expired do not have
to be bought but are subtracted from the final share price.
Again we see why recent lowering and extensions of share price
is a win win situation for management and board members. Sweet
Regarding pps my orginal thoughts were 12 to 15 but upon hearing
that the new product that has been developed is twice as fast as our
existing one I cannot fathom where this stock will go after a
merger, which I believe is in the works. Happy health New Year
to all.
hay pumpkin put another fifty in as i have for
pumpkin sounds like the manure is finally dulling your senses
i just bought in for another 50000 worth bringing me to a little
under 580000. sounds like you got burned by ucmt with such sour
grapes in your posts. merry christmas and happy new year to the
positive members on the panel.
.
That reason for the raise is they do not have enough qualified employees to move us to the next stage
Private conversations I have had with Jim he expressed an opinion of somewhere around 27 a share
There are so many options for our product that if there is not a buyout licensing will be the money maker.
What concerns me most is someone coming out in the near future. With a better mouse trap. I personally
Would prefer a buyout.
Have you ever seen them participate in any previous raises. I believe Cordavano has. No Marcelli and
Zelabor have their options renogiated and extended far beyond any they have ever given us. they also
Extended some board options.
I think we will be well rewarded. It's my understanding there are thirty plus companies looking at
Lightwave. I look for. a return of 12 to 15 a share
Steve they feel they are so close to finalizing that three mil will be enough to bring them to completion
By my previous post insider meant those that supported the company through so many raises. I have participated through every raise from sixteen cents on up. My wife and I have slightly under five hundred
Thousand shares so I do not know if I will participate in this raise. Several large. Investors were upset with
Tom at the last shareholder meeting for not being informed at the last minute of an unannounced raise .
So they are being called first.
As one of the original investors in Lightwave the reason in the decline of the stock price is. A three million stock raise. For insiders only. First ones Steve called sold to buy sixty cent stock. I hope this answers your quetion
