that's what i was thinking! well, not the dilution part...not sure WILS needs to dilute to execute.
there just arent any sellers at this level...going to have to get closer to .20 it seems like
bids are inching up, but sellers arent' biting, and that's good. we know what we have here in terms of value, so buyers are going to have to ante-up
yes, and it's not going to right itself in 1 day or 1 week. it's going to take some time, and the damage won't be completely un-done until the company hits some homeruns.
conference call was quite impressive.
CEO addressed concerns about selling, and said that he believes or hopes that the recent volume surge could spell the end to the block shareholder selling.
made it clear that litigations are taken by outside firms on a contingency basis, and that extensive DD is undertaken by both SPEX and the outside firms before litigation is commenced.
also pointed out how Rockstar owns 28% of fully diluted shares, and their purchases have been at $5.50 and $8.
love the r/r here sub $2
SEV reports after the close today. Mgmt forecasted bullish results in last PR and CC, so we'll see.
Might be a one-time charge due to China EV joint venture startup - not sure.
Not a "cheap" stock by PE measures, but growth looks to be rapid. Just not sure we're in the environment that will reward a good microcap earnings report.
nice report from CLWT. spirited PR and bullish forward outlook. 2H2013 profitability was a big welcomed surprise. If they can sustain profitability w/out BWTS, just think if/when those revs start pouring in.
CLWT - yep, real good datapoint overall. Bright future and catalysts ahead. Nice reward/risk here, and profitable trend bodes well.
CLWT - check my #s but i think they did +.08 EPS in the 2nd half, since they were at -.09 for the first half and ended the year at -.01. And that includes all the BWTS expenditures.
With such a low float, when they start pulling in revenue from BWTS, their EPS should explode.
20F also has statements about efforts to increase margins by assembling own products, and emphasizing engineering work in the pollution arena:
"During the next twelve months, we intend to assemble and/or manufacture additional products, especially those related to the air pollution sector and seek opportunities with our suppliers to assemble their products, secure manufacturing and/or assembly facilities. As we begin to promote our BWTS product that currently treats wastewater at a rate of 300 cubic meters per hour, we also intend to develop other BWTS products with greater treatment capacities and target larger markets."
"We note that, as evidenced by our acquisition of Pact-Yixing, we are placing greater emphasis on developing our engineering solution business in an effort to capitalize on these increased demands (clean water, pollution controls and waste management)."
"We have been investing significant portion of our resources to developing our BWTS for the global market and expects the new BWTS business will generate revenues for coming years of which no assurance can be given. We will also explore the opportunities for wastewater treatment for fracking water in oil and gas industry."
CLWT #s are far less important than their forward look, particularly in regards to their BWTS. Final certification would be ++ outlook, and if they have some news on the pollution/fracking front, icing on the cake.
Of course the rest of the market may not forgive poor #s the way i would, so we'll see.
SEV - yes, nice dip to add on, though i haven't pulled the trigger just yet. should be just a few weeks away (at most) from earnings + updates.
yes SEV has a nice chart, but more importantly has big catalysts looming in regards to 1) Risenbo JV finalization, 2) contracts from that JV, and 3) Earnings. Also remember that Gabelli has huge stake, members on the board, and who knows whether they're working some sort of value proposition (i.e. acquisition, or ???)
Sevcon exhibiting at EV-Taiwan next week.
Clearly a bullish Show for their business, but what caught my eye was their mention of what I bolded below - Energy Storage Tech and Recharging Infrastructure. I never really considered SEV to be part of those genres.

CLWT - looks like they're not going to surprise us with anything until the annual is filed; last year it was 4/25.
Unfortunately they don't see the need nor seem willing to seize the opportunity in front of them to seize a captive audience.
This could change, however.

SGOC SA article just out thinks $8+ in-play
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2122523-sgoco-group-a-turnaround-story-with-all-eyes-on-q4-results
Conclusion
SGOCO is an amazing turnaround story of 2013. The company has provided a very bullish outlook in its prior releases. With the near-term catalyst just weeks away, I believe the current weakness in the stock price provides a good entry point. Any day now, the company will put out a press release and announce the actual date of the Q4 and full-year 2013 results. When that happens, the volume should start to increase. Depending on how good the numbers are, the former high of $8.33 is well within reach. I believe they will execute and deliver another incredible quarter.
CLWT -- ...and while we wait for the final BWTS certification and subsequent associations/contracts for BWTS, we just might get some pollution or fracwater contracts...pretty please?!?
more and more focus being put on BWTS. i hope CLWT is making headway on their system and final approval.
"Asia-Pacific, being a hub for shipbuilding and the base for the majority of ship owners and yards, is a key revenue generating market. The most interesting countries are and will be Japan, China and South Korea.
Legislation will be the key driver for the ballast water treatment systems market globally with significant developments that include the expected ratification of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) convention in 2014."

CLWT's BWTS system trying to be a part of >$34 BILLION business opportunity:
http://www.marinelink.com/news/cometh-ready-regs364663.aspx
If CLWT only got 1/2 of that market, I'd be happy ;^D
CLWT - that's a WAY larger addressable market than I thought there was. If CLWT gets a tiny slice of that pie, it'll be transformative for them.
re SEV, good timing I think. could be catalyst this week if mgmt correct in anticipating closure of Chinese JV deal.
BELFA $115m shelf
SEV has a history of not following thru, and so no reason to think this time is any different...unless some of the KNDI $$ is finding its way in.
SEV Targets agriculture sector
Nice article (but no PR!) about SEV seeing growth in EV-agriculture.
http://www.4-traders.com/SEVCON-INC-4058497/news/Sevcon--targets-agriculture-sector-18114211/
ELECTRIC vehicle control manufacturer Sevcon has launched a new drive to capture a share of the multi-billion pound agricultural market.
Following months of detailed research with farm machinery makers and the Agricultural Industry Electronic Foundation (AEF) Gateshead- based Sevcon has unveiled a range of products for the tractor and machinery market.
Sevcon's diversification in the agricultural sector was supported with a Pounds 300,000 grant from the Regional Growth Fund, and has so far created ten jobs with the potential for more as it penetrates further into the market.
Matt Boyle, Sevcon's president and chief executive officer, said: "The agricultural equipment and machinery industry presents us with high volume and high value potential opportunities. New tractor sales are predicted to be around 1.4m units by 2015, with equipment sales set to be even greater. We believe motor controller sales into the agri-market could ramp up to many thousands a year by the end of the decade."

SEV getting a lift off nice KNDI numbers. Worth noting that there's an imminent catalyst in the wings for SEV.
Per their China JV PR, that is expected to go live by the end of calendar Q1 2014, so that's within a couple weeks at this point.
Re:SEV...yes! A big vote of confidence. I mean, why wasn't the guy buying in the 5's and 6's when us little guys were? The answer I think lies in the China deal...hadn't been formalized or announced yet. Very bright future there
