Hasn't gone down lately probably because they are earning
more cash daily than they did before the crash. And the month
of March is traditionally a bad time to take short positions. It
is reflected in market sentiments starting today. Can't wait for
the dividend announcement for FXCM. How much do you think
it will increase?

Many Iwo photographs in this link. I spent all Sunday looking
through them. Hardly scratched the surface. Started with the
7th but there are many more. I came away with a great deal of
info I didn't know and I thought I was pretty knowledgable on
the Iwo Jima battle. For one thing, the fine volcanic dust made
it a terribly risky adventure just to get into the air without
engine failure. I also got a new appreciation into the risk
faced by ground crews. Especially firefighters.

alone when judging stocks.

going to just sit here and hold this for the last month and
do nothing? And look at insiders since 15 Jan 2015. Edward
Yusupov acquired 1,200,000 shares, apparently thru warrant
transaction, and sold 1,043,905 back in two transactions.
Michael Romersa sold only 363,807 shares on 22 Jan.

Now you are in lawyer territory, and my question would be
"What action could the SEC take to protect the public." I
think the courts will be involved in this loan agreement
before the things you are warning about even come close
to realization.
And what happens when they force the sale? Poof! And the
value disappears and the stock is worthless? If so, who will
the bidders for the old FXCM be, and why would they want
to own it? Only if they could take it private, maybe. I don't
care if they sell it. I want $17 and I will move on.
Reminds me of the joke where the guy says he doesn't have
to outrun the bear, he just has to outrun you. I don't need to
know as much as Niv does for him to make me money.
That said, currency exchanges are going to happen even in
a 'collapse' of a monetary system, the volume may increase
enough to make the spread unimportant. Plus the house can
refuse bets and choose the bettors it allows to play. Lastly, it
takes its commissions from both sides of each trade.
Why do you think FXCM was offered so much money the day
the Swiss meltdown happened, if it was valueless? Trade and
the repayment of debt will continue no matter what happens.
I only invest in pipeline companies and I don't care what a
barrel of oil costs.

I don't think you understand how FX brokers, and specifically
this one, the largest, actually operate. For one thing, they
used to allow leverage of up to 200:1 to be used. No more.
Trust me, Niv knows how the game is played. Most on IHub
are way out of their league here, even the CPA's. I have some
framed certificates in the dismal science and I don't know
near enough to work in this field.

FXCM to Stop Trading in Selected Currencies

Foreign-exchange broker FXCM Inc. will stop trading a number of currencies later this week to avoid volatility caused by possible future intervention by governments in currency markets, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The New York-based broker lost millions of dollars following the sharp currency swings resulting from the Swiss National Bank's decision to remove its cap on the value of the franc on Jan. 15. It has begun notifying clients that on Feb. 20 it will remove a number of currencies, including the Hong Kong dollar and Danish krone, from its platform, the person said.
It means that a lot of people are nervous about Greece
defaulting and bringing the entire monetary system in
Europe down with it. The end of the Euro. But I see that
as what will make me a millionare, as that is FXCM's game!
I never did find out how my boy lost the lower 1" of his ear.
My son-in-law looked around on Sunday to see if he could
see anyplace he could have caught it to tear it off. However
it happened, I don't think it bled until he barreled in the front
door. It was about zero degrees. His ear should not have
been wet before he went out, and anything outside was
already frozen. His ear must have flopped just right between
two pieces of metal, and he jerked his head or was moving
fast, and ripped it like it was cut with a razor. Poor baby.
It is healing without infection. I just fear he will break it open.
5:16 PM, not quite dark, and it is 5° here now, going to -7°
and supposed to feel like -24°. I'm not using kitchen door

in the upstairs hallway and I left some birdseed. He can live
on dead flies until spring. Going a month with weather like
this is awfully tough on the wild kritters. Wild turkeys are
going to be in short supply, as will pheasants.
