That's mostly Holder's work. At the bequest of anti-gunners
like Pelosi, Boxer and many other libs. When word of this hit
the VA hospital that I go to in NY, PTSD therapy session
attendance fell markedly. So the unintended consequences
will create a grater danger to the public than before. Of course
the real danger of unstable soldiers is to themselves, not to
the public as the libbers spin it.
Fuel consumption is measured in gallons per mile not miles
per gallon. But you probably can get one. They give them away
to police departments that request them. When ISIS took the
vehicles out of the depots in Iraq when the Iraqi Army fled, I
hope they remembered to take all the replacement filters on
hand with them. Even if they did they won't last long and they
will have a tough time getting more. That sand dust is so fine
it works its way into lubricated joints so if there are zerks
they require frequent greasing, sealed joints just fail and you
replace the parts. The ones that airpower hasn't taken out
already will soon be stationery targets.
There are a lot of things like this that are never talked about
in the media, so only past and present military even think
about it. Congress gets briefed on much of it if they care to
listen. Ever wonder how ISIS got so big so quick and how
its command and control can run such a large number of men?
It is because at its heart is the part of the Iraqi Army that got
disbanded when we invaded. The Sunni part. The Shia part is
the new Iraqi Army. So we have a religious civil war there.
I have a friend that has gone from here in NY down to SC and
bid on various military vehicles at salvage sales. So far he
got four, all like brand new. One is a 3/4 ton club cab pickup,
one a 5 ton cargo, one a tanker of some sort as he is a driller
by trade. He saved about $100,000. You might try it.
The president couldn't be thinking of moving that oil by
pipeline, could he? Naw, not after he vetoed the Keystone
pipeline, that would be hypocrisy. He must be thinking if
Warren Buffet makes a nice donation towards his library
to be built in Hawaii, he could fix it so a rail line could be
built or improved to move the oil to refiners.
Quote:
" The review also said the ability of the SPR to move oil to refineries needs to be modernized and improved, work that could cost up to $2 billion."
When you see how much the taxpayers have bought it kinda
boggles the mind, dosen't it. Did you see the video the kid
took driving down the Marine Depot perimeter road with his
cellphone vertical? He didn't sound very bright, by the way.
If you read the comments posted to that You Tube video, some
of the guys live there, and they tell what is going on. We have
Depots just like that in several places in the country, not that
big or that dry maybe, but their mission is to refurbish and
store vehicles. The Marines are charged with doing this for
all services in CA. Others are run by Army Material Command
which I was assigned to at one point in my career, so please
don't argue bullshit you read someplace with me.
Anniston Army Depot, Aniston, AL Is the main one for tactical
vehicles. Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX is big too.
some vehicle work is done at Letterkenny in PA and
Tobyhanna PA. Rock Island IL and Toole UT do some types.
The 170 million pounds sounds like a lot. There are 2000 lb
in a ton. One MILRAP weighs 30 tons. We may leave a few
100 for the Afgans. We probably built 250,000. Same goes
for Iraq, where we are giving or selling a lot of vehicles. The
ones ISIS captured will be replaced. Vehicles do not last
very long in those countries at best, because of the fine dust
that gets into everything. And those vehicles need a lot of
maintenance. Even our mechanics can't keep up. The raghead
mechanics don't even try.
This kind of conspiracy chatter is just extensions of the
tinfoil hatted Area 51 crowd, and with the real danger Obama
administration bureaucrats pose to the country we don't need
to waste our time with fantasy "Clintons and the Chinese
Army invade America" crap. Anybody that is in touch with
the kids in the military today knows they are the same kids
we cheer and take videos of greeting their women, kids and
the family dog. They are not going to be shooting American
civilians, nor will their officers order them to. I know what
is going on with the exercise this summer. The armed forces
are going through exactly what they did in 1972 as Vietnam
was ending. The emphasis on training will be counterinsurgency.
I am Special Forces trained myself, part of the training takes
place in this country with the help of citizens who play the
role of locals we befriend or pay to help us. I can see that
the internet conspiracy freaks have no knowledge of the
military except from board or video games or movies, they
see a uniform and get paranoid. I looked at the video in this
and the previous posts. All those vehicles placed in storage
are brought back from overseas as our forces are withdrawn.
Units are being deactivated and their vehicles are turned in
to the big Marine Depot in S Cal also. No mystery.
The horse I had to shoot was a mercy killing but it has haunted
me for years. The rule around here, set down by my grandfather
(Born on this farm in 1889) is to check all of your animals each
day. No exceptions, if your legs are broken, send somebody to
do it. Well, my sister's horse "Patches," hadn't been seen for
a couple of days. She usually went out in the pastures and
hung out with or near our herd of beef cattle. I finally went
looking for her, I found her down, on her side with a hind foot
tangled in barbed wire. I was only about 15 but normally
carried a firearm all of the time. Wern't my horse, wern't my
job to watch her. But I had to set things right, and did. I don't
think a vet could have saved her, or if we could have afforded
it. I know nobody had the time to deal with it. My father was
gone most weekdays as he worked for the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers. Social Services would have everybody in jail
if it were today and gun control freaks would be nuts. Liberal
urban people have destroyed a way of life, and it gets worse
every day. Legalized pot isn't going to improve things either,
when those brains soak up all they can afford anytime, any
where, the thought processes of the next generation is scary.
There was a day when I would look at the premiums and
compare with the cost for humans, and the cost of ammo,
and decide to self insure. It is no longer funny as I got soft
in old age and never shot a dog anyway. Once a horse.
Occasional barn cat with distemper. Feral cat stalking my
bird feeder. Now with Obamacare if I didn't have coverage
from VA and Tricare I'd be changing my name to Fido.
But seriously, have you guys factored in what your daughter
has paid in premiums? And over the life of the dog? Hard to
say what is best, there are a lot of variables. My daughter is
a RN and wasn't working for awhile, so I had to help out. A
dog insurance premium would have been the first to go.
Sounds like it works for you.
Congrats! You are such a good mommy. We knew that from
your beautiful daughters tho.. Aussies are awsome. So good
to hear a success story, undoubtably few have gone the extent
you have and that has affected the recovery percentages.
My farm is in the Fingerlakes National Forest, which is actually
once working cultivated farmland bought up by a government
land grab during the Great Depression in the early 30's. We
are also 18 miles from Ithaca, where there are 50,000 students
at Cornell and Ithaca College. A lot of these students had dorm
or student apartment cats that were released "humanely" into
the forest when students left. Now for the past 20 years or so
we have a large population of Eastern Coyote. Cat is on their
menu so feral cats are not as common.
I have not come to grips yet concerning how I could live
without my dogs. Except for a brief period after HS until I
received my Army commission, 4 years I guess, I have always
had a dog or two.
That used to be the job for the cat. Who is no longer with us.
And I can't get another because my two dogs are now cat
killers, having done in feral cats that have wandered in to
check out my barns, now used only for storage. The dogs
that grew up with cats and could pass that knowledge along
have also passed. And I am at the end of the trail when it
comes to any more pets. Not if they can outlive me, anyway.
By the way, in recent years I have found a better wintertime
way to conduct rodent cremations than the burn barrel I use
for trash. I bought a stoker coal stove. 100% complete and
no odor since the blower pushes it up the chimney.
Well, I like mousetraps better than putting out poison bait.
I know I got the target animal. Also one can lay out the little
body bags in a row and practice military funerals.
I have been told that fabric softener sheets are a deterrent
for mice. Because of their smell, I guess. I wonder if they
would work on woodpeckers if wadded up and put in their
hole?
Please everybody, take 3 minutes to view the statements
on Islam from a retired Admiral. And then forward it to
everyone you know.

I really like your post. I am a long and have been hoping for
miracles for a couple of years. But the grim facts are that
with huge loans coming due in June and September, contract
or no contract won't save MCP as long as the REE it produces
is priced below the cost of production. And time is running
out. Dilution from reverse splits, etc will kill stockholders
even if additional financing could be found and more time
bought.
I used to agree with that but there is an argument that holds
when a majority are using technicals to guide their trades it
becomes a self-fulfilling event. Jury may still be out for MCP
as the PR that created the gap could be banks and IH trying
to recover some of their losses.
Shorting is betting a company will fail, at least in some
critical metrics. As the number of short positions rise,
the stock price falls, normally assisted by the worse press
shorters can dream up. Under those circumstances, even
very good companies, essentially small businesses that
provide necessary employment, cannot obtain financing
and will collapse. Small businesses have been called "The
lifeblood of America" by politicians of all stripes. When
companies are manipulated into failure so a few people
make a buck, it is un-American in my book.
You are wrong that the government won't save it. The only
thing that matters is the government won't save us. The
owners of common shares will lose everything. After a
Chapter 11 new stock will be issued, after the shares that
are now authorized are cancelled. Or some company like
Rio Tinto will buy this 2 billion Mountain Pass facility for
pennies. Obama will want to sell it to Iran.
I keep getting the chart for the 15th. Anybody else?
Can trade AH also. Last night I watched Cramer to see if he
mentioned MCP and he didn't, although he devoted the first
half of his show discussing shorting and how that was
affecting various tickers. I wonder if he will mention MCP
tonight. I know he knows all about the REE market, he covered
MCP a lot back in the glory days when it shot to $70 (2012?).
I have been trading this stock for three years. Do some DD
there are hundreds of articles on it. Dozens of analysis reports
including one posted here by somebody an hour ago.
What did you think this NYSE stock was doing, a P &D
promo?
Propaganda put out to boost the stock to avoid delisting.
MCP produces very little HREE oxide at Mountain Pass facility
as the ore clays there possess very little and what they do
have comes from re-refining a product that can't be sold
for the cost of preduction. That is why MCP can't make it's
loans and may have to file Chapter 11 in June.
This chart is all wonderfully done as usual for presenting
a technical outlook for how a normal stock is expected to
perform based on past history. It does not take into consideration that MCP has one foot in the grave due to
its burn rate and the imminent delisting. The Siemens
contract is by itself a factor that is enough of a significant
event to alter lines of resistance. What I'm saying is that
if this doesn't get above a dollar PDQ this company is for
sale.
The Iranian leader came out with statements that exposed
Obama's crowing about the negotiations and for once we
can actually believe him, because the Congress is basicly
reinforcing the claim that Obama is lying to us.
http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/8520.htm
There is a lot of DD to be done if you haven't already, and
don't make the mistake of playing this as a penny stock.
National security is an issue with this about to be delisted
NYSE stock. Big money and Congressional Committees
are at play here. They are burning through their last block
of financing because it costs more to produce the rare
metals than the market price is, and the Chinese can control
the prices as they produce 80% of the worlds REE.
I don't expect much of a pullback, at least not more than .10
for the reasons just mentioned. This is already overdue for
delisting from NYSE. Notice has already been given. And it
must stay above $1 for awhile.
It first closed below $1 Nov 28, 2014, and came back above
on Feb 17, 2015 for one day. I think I remember the rule is
10 trading days or something like that but this is way overdue
already. Many of the Institutional Investors have already fled
but it would not surprise me to see some behind this Siemens
deal having accumulated a ton of shares and scoring millions.
I'm glad spring is here. All those that were trying to short
MCP while beating the company to death with predictions
of bankruptcy can open their windows and jump off the
ledge in sunshine. I took a loss big time when I finally realized
some group really intended to destroy the company, probably
so they could buy it and take it private for pennies on the USD.
Fortunately I held a core. And moved funds to replace the
shares I parted with near the bottom. If no pullback this should
go over $1 to avoid delisting. IMO
CEO David Coburn gave update in his April 14, 2015 blog
found at the Gainey website:
http://www.gaineycapital.com
Processing plant is cash positive for the two quarters it has
been in operation. Already equipped to process 300 tons per
day, it can easily be doubled to 600 THD with no additional
permitting. Contracts to process ore from other mining
operations are going to be used to finance the development
of Gainey's own property. A failure to obtain financing is the
most common cause for failure of these venture gold companies and this business plan seems to be solid.
CEO David Colburn in Sep 2014 Blog stated outlook
Our business strategy is to simultaneously grow the toll processing part of the company, while exploring our exciting, highly prospective El Colomo property. We expect to use profits from the mill to fund much, if not all, of our exploration costs thus avoiding the need to debt or shareholder dilution by going to the market for additional financing. This business model has been used to great success by Dynacor Gold and with our mill already in good flow, and an industry-leading exploration team on board, our feeling is that Gainey is making excellent progress.
Thomson Reuters issued a detailed stock report on April 13
assigning a buy recommendation on an average score of 6
out of 10, the best for ALSK this year. The stock has an
earnings rating of 10 against the industry rating of 5.9 but the
mean stock price target was decreased from 3.38 to 2.88, with
a 12 month price target high of 3.50 and low of 2.25. This is
a marked increase since the stock has a 52 week average of
2.05 and has traded significantly lower since December 2014.
There have been four positive surprise earnings quarters in
a row, Thomson gave them a score of 10. Institutions own
20.5% of ALSK stock and I believe they are responsible for
the volume doubling today (467,272) over yesterday and the
close of 1.90 (up .10)
I have believed ALSK has been undervalued for some time
and took a initial position in Oct 2012 at 2.31. I added quite
steadily and sold one-third of my shares in Aug 2013 at 3.21.
Should have sold them all, but crystal ball wasn't working
as it went South and have been deep in the red since. I did
add 500 shares around 1.55 and of course was tempted to
add near the low 12/04/2014 of 1.18 but nobody knew where
this was going to go. Or that it would go from the 52 wk low
to the 52 wk high in 24 hours. Alaskans are crazy and now I
know why.
I listened to some of the other videos this smart ass made
and I see this guy as a jerk that will one day run across a
border patrol officer that will shoot him. And I would hardly
blame them if he ran. He thinks he's exercising his rights
but he doesn't have any right to refuse a lawful order to pull
over and allow his vehicle to be searched when he arouses
suspicion by refusing to answer questions about having
illegal substances or even passengers in a motor home, as
he does in one video. The sad thing is, he proves how inept
and poorly trained some of the border patrol members are.
I have met a lot of non- citizens that spoke and acted pretty
much like Americans and vice-versa and they were detained
for hours. Mr stupid here at one point says in a video that he
didn't have to say anything without a lawyer at which point
I wished they would have cuffed him and left him in the sun
for a couple of hours waiting for one. I want these officers
to do a good job and nobody benefits from stupids ego trips.
Mohammed solved that problem centuries ago. Marry them at
age nine, and encourage goats and camels to fill in the austere
moments.
Closing price April 6, 2015 $15.85
April 7, 2015. $15.88
I like him better than most. The question I try to keep in
mind is if this guy wins the Republican nomination, is he
attractive enough to liberals to steal their vote from Hillary.
The electoral college will decide. We must win this time
or I don't think the country will avoid a financial disaster
or worse, war in our streets.
I appreciate your support. I once thought of writing a book
as there is more to the story, if it would serve a purpose. But
there are many stories of government abuse, nothing happens
to the people responsible, and there can be retaliation. I may
have been lucky in a way that they covered it up so that after
the first local published police report there was no mention
in the media. The sheriff personally drove to my house and
returned my great grandfathers civil war officers sword
but a Colt Navy revolver that was with it never turned up.
I learned later that the judge had ordered him to do this!
One curious cop called me to ask the story behind a breach
loading 10 gauge shotgun, marked Ajax on the breach lock.
It was an English shotgun that my great grandfather on my
mother's side carried in the Civil War. He lost his left arm
to a reb cannon ball at Harper's Ferry. Built like a bull, he
could load and shoot this 16 pound shotgun with one arm.
I had removed the firing pin so that nobody could load it
with a modern shotgun shell and kill themselves, and to
lessen the value if stolen, as it was displayed over a mantle.
That cop was decent enough to return it to me personally.
Both the county sheriff and the prosecutors offices were
full of corruption and it took years to clean it up, a story
within itself. Strangely, voting was not the answer, since
the fix lay within the nomination process and most of the
crooked officeholders ran unopposed. It took inditement
and resignation, for the cops firing or retirement. Only one
went to jail that I know of. He broke the code and testified
against the sheriff, but he was sentenced to two years in
the county jail. Over one year, supposed to go to state
prison. This news pales in comparison to the stories where
people are killed by police. I may be lucky.
Opinion essay by Paul Markel, a Blaze contributor, veteran
Marine. One of the best I have ever read that captures the
foremost problems veterans face after combat service.
I'm going to pigeonhole this article to refer to it when I need
to write on related things, like letters to editors, elected
officials, or speak at meetings, because I usually leave out
some of the points made in it.
http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/ptsd-and-veteran-suicides-the-reasons-you-will-never-get-from-the-big-media/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Firewire&utm_campaign=Firewire%20-%20HORIZON%204-6-15%20Final-MON
I cannot disagree with anything he said and I have personally
faced the government abuse he writes about. Including cops
raiding my house because some jealous drunks who had
avoided military service started rumors that I had an arsenal
of illegal machine guns, rocket launchers and hand grenades.
After my extensive investment grade antique firearms and
numerous modern military and sporting arms were removed
and confiscated without a warrant, the local sheriff strove to
cover up the mistakes of the deputies by kicking the case
up to the BATFE and claiming family members had authorized
the entry of the no knock midnight raid. Affidavits were filed
contradicting this, only one member actually lived there, and
trying to get past the hurdle of the lack of a warrant had to be
accomplished the old fashioned way. All five cops on the
raid and the female dispatcher all lied under oath that they
had heard the sleeping pill medicated family member agree
to their presence in the house, while denying a search was
conducted. Anything taken was in 'full view' to include I
suppose, the powder in the reloading area workbench, cases
of ammo in closets, hideout guns in bookcases, etc. They
even took camo uniforms and web gear, mag pouches, helmet
sleeping bags, anything that looked like military property
because they were too ignorant to know officers are required
to buy their own uniforms, any one with a military ID can buy
or could buy a lot of military equipment at military clothing
sales stores on bases legally. I was retired, but also in a official
status as a mobilization designee. This meant I had preposition
orders to a duty station if needed because of my critical skills.
This farce started in 1994 following the Oklahoma Federal
Building bombing by Timothy McVey, a payback for the Ruby
Ridge and Waco Texas fiascos. Which gave Eric Holder, the
Deputy AG under Janet Reno, his first scandals to lie about.
After 5 years and many thousands in legal fees, a Federal
Judge ordered my property returned. But damage due to
improper handling and storage by the cops in a basement
evidence room, the loss of some because they were partially
assembled and were in boxes, the lack of proper inventory
in the first place, was extensive. Several cases of ammo were
used up by the cops by taking my guns to the police range
and shooting it up to 'test the weapons," some of the nicer
antiques just disappeared into cops homes. I was told they
expected the guns were going to be destroyed since that is
what the prosecutor was requesting. So what the hay, they
were just preserving them, right? I don't doubt I incurred
some PTSD symptoms after three tours as an infantry officer
during the Vietnam War, and the stress of continuous pain
from being blown up by an IED during my first tour. Age
has aggravated a lot of the travails of soldering for 27 years
before I started beef cattle ranching. The VA rated me 100%
disabled two years ago. Should have happened in 1967.
That alone is reason for PTSD, I'm simply angry at the people
that are tearing apart my country that my family started
building and defending when they came to New Anstradam
in 1628.

Now I gotcha, I can't believe that is still going on! I skipped
to the last page.
I have a habit of flipping messages to read what I wrote
before replying, then forgetting to flip back. So I send the
reply to myself. No excuse tonight, but sometimes I am
posting in conversations on 3 different boards at the same
time. I know the Golden Buck, haven't been there for awhile.
I can't see and don't remember your last question, but I
think my answer is "I don't know him"?
