Now that is the kind of post I like to see, something positive and helpful and not negative and destructive. Bravo
I have always raised a couple of tomato plants with varying success in a small patch of dirt in my yard, mostly so the automatic sprinklers would get them. This year I planted one cantaloupe plant in the middle of the two tomatoes just to see. The tomatoes did just okay but cantaloupe, wow! I just picked my 8th cantaloupe while the tomatoes went vegetative.
This is similar to what happened with Mexus for me. I originally bought into Mexus because of the early connection with UVSS as I knew some of those players, still see one of them from time to time. That was a rotten tomato plant but Mexus is going to be my cantaloupe!
Very appreciated of all the opinions, not facts. Excuse me if I am little harsh today. I nearly lost an employee this morning because of opinions and not facts. You spend the morning in an emergency room sometime because of someones else's opinion on what is either right or wrong.
I am a fan of absolutes, every box of tovex I have ever packed had a list of do's and don'ts but they were called Always and Never.
Admittedly my experience in this field is 40 years old but I have a fairly decent memory.
The blast fractors the rock so that the crushers does not have as much to do. Quite a large percentage is already the right size or smaller and the circuit sizes what needs to be resized. Blasting is the first step in sizing and is by far the cheapest.
Anvil, it doesn't look like they have a stacker. Per the video it looks like the final conveyor is just that so smearing the pad out would require something else. Not there so don't know but I would hope that there was a layer above the membrane that was not removed allowing for equipement to travel on the pad. Again not there and don't know but I was like you in that things didn't add up. Now it makes a little more sense.
I am buying but not because of market indicators or advise/postings of a glorious future. My ego is in check due to having a failure or two in my life and still I am still standing and doing well. There is even a paradigm out there that suggests seeking out failures to be successful. Not sure I would fully embrace that but still the lesson is there.
Still laughing, thanks
Then that makes it even easier to rationalize
So a question for you? I have made sure that I have available funds ready to start buying again if the assays come out good anticipating the price going much higher so that I can average further down. Do you think that there are many other investors out there ready to do the same?
One last time...
43-101 can only be created by independent third party participants. These participants drill in in an establishment manner in the area they are instructed to sample. There has to be an qualified "chain of possession" of the samples. There can be no directional drilling at the request of anybody. No chasing veins and excluding lesser sources for qualified samples.(If the owner wishes to chase a vein then maybe that can be allowed if the owner wants to know what resources are there in that small area but it can not be used in the report.) 43-101 instruments are used all over the world, not just canada. How long will it take? As long as it needs to drill the footage. Some rock is soft and they can make good time, hard rock takes longer. The report belongs to the owner and can report testing of individual samples or all for that matter but the final report for the resource is compiled only by the testing company.
I knew that I shouldn't have responded, wasted another 15 minutes of my life to no avail. Continue on...
"Just what kind of "rock drill" is it that you operate?"
Operated is the correct term and they were mostly IRs with one old Gardner Denver but I am sure you know all about drilling and could tell/teach me a thing or two. Googling stuff does not make someone knowledgeable, just gives an overview.
Have you ever ran a rock drill? I have for a couple of years and what you are saying is not accurate. If it is your opinion then fine, if you are trying to state a fact then you should stop or join the group that just makes up stuff to agitate.
I have met him and talked to him on the phone. I know lots of people that have met him and talked to him. I don't think he is a coward. Are you sure that it is he that is a coward?
Hey moderator, this is OKAY?
Okay, I believe you
So what happens then if it is a big name?
That was exactly what I was trying to explain. As the belt conveyor out of the crusher was filling the tank the samples should have been pulled so when the tank was full the sample also would be complete. Full tank and completed sample at the same time. Been doing this for 39 years and you don't handle product twice just to pull a sample, don't have to and costly to do so. Reasoning for correct milling size and metallurgy is out of my realm of expertise but I know processing inside and out.
I can answer the testing done on the crushed ore question. In my business which deals with large batches we have to take small samples as we process so that we have homogenous sample of the entire lot when done. . If you were to just grab a sample it could not represent the entire lot, might high in one component and lower in another or maybe not have anything in a third. It is the sample as a whole that needs tested.
Guys, I looked back over my spreadsheet and I first bought MXSG in July of 2010 after hearing PT talk at another shareholders meeting. The reasons were different then but it was the man that impressed me. I am not a stock picker but a processor and I have built more than my share of plants. Things do not always turn out the way or when we want but I have confidence in the man getting it done, so much so that I bought another block of stock recently. Keep the faith and I am betting you will be rewarded.
And exhale…. property is rich by any standard and we have a doer on site with our guy, a geologist, watching all. The right people on the right claim at the right time. One claim started, then the next and then the.....
I would love to see what the pit walls look like after they have been digging the blast? I know they have drilled some of the veins but nothing like exposing new ore to the light. MarMar has seen it and has decided to ramp up.
Okay guys here is your chance. You should have 2 to 4 weeks to catch this at these levels and then after that you will have to buy on the way up. The loudest voices are the ones trying to make it move one way or the other within their audience. I would like it to go up but will be patient. Silent majority?
In my case I believe it is best to know the facts and then have a good reason to post. I had a lot of information that was never posted on the UVSS deal and that was where I met PT in March of 2010 and from that then started following MXSG. I have participated in three private placements although two were consolidated into one. I never have sold a MXSG share since 7/22/10 and that was only to make a quick buck like many here. After a bit I no longer considered it a “quick buck” but a long term investment and that is still where it stands today. When it realizes its full potential then I may sell, till then I watch and learn.
Short term gains in PPS in penny stocks is fine if that is your game but this stock really does have the ability to easily reach .20 and beyond. So for those traders that is here to accept that safer margin, okay, but just for laughs and giggles how about really investing in this stock for the big return and saving back some. Many of us that watch this board and other sources know it’s potential. Remember Aesop’s fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper. Which are you?
AR made a mistake judging the viability of the open pit heap leach operation project on the Julio/Santa Elena property. The reasoning that the entire property was not viable at the current POG doesn’t make sense as there were plenty of sites previously drilled that did “pan out” and were quite rich. The shallow and remote RC sites that they drilled would just reveal where not to go till the price firmed up which could have been years down the road. I am very disappointed in this decision.

Mexus Gold is Pleased to Announce That Argonaut Gold Has Completed Phase I Drilling at Julio Project Per Option/JV Agreement
CARSON CITY, Nev., Nov. 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company") president Paul Thompson recently returned from Mexico and is happy with his findings at the Santa Elena/Julio site. Mexus has an option/JV agreement with, Argonaut Gold on the project and Argonaut has informed Mexus that on November 16(th) , they completed their Phase I work program on the Julio project and have fulfilled the initial 6 month work obligation as defined in the Company's Joint Venture Agreement. During the program, 16 RC drill holes were completed for a total of 1990 meters. Drilling was focused on three main target areas referred to as Los Mantos, Los Cruses, and The Central Zone. President Paul Thompson closed, "We are pleased with the progress Argonaut has made on the project and we look forward to reviewing the results of the drilling once assays are received. In my opinion, Mexus is greatly underestimated and undervalued given our low overhead, and the properties and contracts we control."
About Mexus Gold US
MEXUS GOLD US is an American-based exploration company with holdings in Mexico. Mexus' fully owned Julio/Santa Elena property is located 54km NW of Caborca, Mexico. In July 2015, Mexus and Argonaut Gold Inc. (TSE:AR) entered into a joint venture option agreement for this property. The property sits in an area which is currently being mined by some of the largest mining companies in the world. Mexus has drill results which show a high grade, multi vein system throughout the property. Mexus also owns the rights to the Ocho Hermanos property, which is located 80km NE of Hermosillo, Mexico. This property will be drilled to show a proven reserve once our flagship property is in full production. Preliminary drilling on this property has been extremely promising. Founded in 2009, Mexus Gold US is committed to protecting the environment, mine safety and employing members of the communities in which it operates.

Watch for news from AR on their newest acquired property Julio/Santa Elena near Caborca, Sonora State, Mexico. Through a joint venture with Mexus Gold, (MXSG), they have been surveying and drilling and most likely will have something to report within the next 45 days. This looks very promising whether you are an AR or a MXSG shareholder. There have been rumors for years that this is a million oz. property.

and lawyers get paid by the hour
In the late eighties I worked as and under a driller/blaster in Alaska and then took some classes. At that time and remember that was in the US, the blaster had the license and the company held the permit. It took both to purchase and use explosives.
Thank you for the explanation, it made sense to me. It will be nice to have to worry about the tax consequences because of revenues far exceeding expenditures in the future.
I think the first pour is going to be light because of some of the pads have already been leached a bit but yet the cost are there whether it is rich or not so the income from current pour is not going to cover costs again. But at the same time the pads are being refreshed, drilling is under way to prove the resources and cash is needed both at the JV and at Rancho. Ken is still a threat, either real or perceived and the whole JV makes me and others nervous which I would think Paul might fall into that court. Why not take some money off of the table and use it for financing the 100% and stop the PP which I have participated in three times so far and quite frankly I am done with that. I have owned this company since 2010 and rode it up and down and never have sold a share but I am hoping for a good 2014. I see no good reason why concentrating on the 100% and building there is not a good avenue. There is always stuff going on behind the scenes we never see and if Paul thinks we should get rid of all or part of the JV I would tend to lean in and trust his direction.
With Paul concentrating on 2012 goal for the Caborca area producing placer gold recovery project and initiating production operations on the Julio quartz vein system, this seems to be the preverbal low hanging fruit that will produce all the income needed to continue on with all the other areas without having to use as much JV monies.
Also with him compartmentalizing as he has done my guess is that some might sit on the back burners for a while on many of the secondary projects while he forges ahead generating decent income to show a profitable income statement in the next two quarters and beyond. Maybe his thoughts are to build very decent PPS so that instead of JVs he can finance it with stock offerings? There would be dilution of shares but less dilution of profits.
JV are okay for startups with limited finances but if this vein is as rich as many think, what’s the point. Let the ground pay for its self and other s as well. Everything points to a very positive 2012 and beyond. MXSG certainly is making news and soon, (I hope,) very loud noise with the release of its 43-101. Don’t know when it’s supposed to come out but this will be a very important part of MXSG future in Caborca. Remember as the data is being complied the company is seeing well in advance of the public what the drill is pulling up.
