It is harvest time. The Record Date is on Sunday. I can not believe that the company should not have prepared correctly for this fourth attempt to get the dividend paid. There must have been lots of communication behind the scenes between the company, FINRA and other parties that might have a saying in this, to make sure that they will get it through this time. They just can't lose their face like they would if they failed a fourth time. I think they will make it this time. I am preparing for celebration - finally.
Record Date -3.
I just had to buy puts yesterday when Nasdaq surged 3% on FED's rate hike. A QQQ put for $1.55 ten minutes before close. Sold today for $6.35. A decent return for one day.
Yesterday's 12 cent dumper probably not too happy today.
You can still get 10 000 shares <23 cent. When the share price is over 50 cent, everyone who bought att these levels will be happy.
Exactly.
They keep trying to get the dividend paid. They are struggling due to FINRA as well as some internal lack of competence. But they are trying and they will eventually make it. At the end of the day, they are releasing the greatest value to the major shareholder - themselves.
Why?
Mr Market is your best friend, when you treat him like the idiot he is. Congrats.
If this takes off, will you regret not having paid 20 cents and accumulating as many shares as possible? Being cheap at 17 cents is not the strategy to adopt now.
And I am not sure why we are anticipating a Company value around $2,5-3B. We have a cash flow projection. But we don't know the other stuff; assets, how the business has developed etc. It could be worth $4B or even $5B, for all we know. Because we don't.
And people think 0.195 is too expensive...
Yes. And this two weeks ago:
I don't like the idea of selling something that is worth $21 for $7.
And I would probably consider my options.
No one thinks 0.195 is cheap.

Guys.
Could you please post the brokers that you know
a) offer trading in HERB
b) prohibit trading in HERB.
Thanks!

b) Interactive Brokers prohibit trading in HERB
So, what they are effectively doing is that they give us the stock dividend restricted; one share of Equity Art for every share in HERB. And then they will tell us, in the audited filings what Equity Art actually contains, together with a NAV?

Strange
The gas prices (gasoline) in the US are all over the news because a gallon is over $5 now in California. Yesterday when I filled up my car here, I paid the equivalent of $7.14...
I was wondering why the nat gas price is up massively, but my UNG call options actually are down a few percent today. Then I realised that the price of natural gas is up massively - in Europe. Not the same price surge in the US.
I am not. I think they will sort this out and I don't think they intend to screw us.
The filings tell us "Equity Art Corp Ltd" off balance sheet". Let us wait with BBC documentaries and see what they make of this when they get the audit done. We know that they are at it.
I tried to get some information about what they are up to. But all they gave me was a generic no-no.
In a new note from the Co today they are reiterating that they are working on auditing as well as M&A to "increase shareholder value". The wording makes me believe it is not very far away now.
So you don't mind investing in Russian companies these days? Really?
I am not even sure that they have swapped the plantations. They could still be among the off-balance sheet-assets.
The audit I get, but M&A...?
I received a short note from the Company this morning.
Thank you for your support and help, we are busy with the company's M&A work, while doing the audit as well.
If the majority shareholder want their money, I think they will make it happen. Don't you?
I am surprised that a supposedly $2,5-3,5B company doesn't have the competence to handle this sort of issue. It is nine months since they announced the dividend and they are still struggling to make it happen. It can't just be OTC and FINRA's fault that it is taking this long. An experienced and senior IR consultant specialized in distribution of stock dividends must have been able to tell them do's and don'ts to get this done smoother? Had they only hired one.
Nevertheless, it is encouraging that we are seeing actions in the right direction. Like TF and aandt used to say; we are getting there, sooner or later.
Yes. 2 cents EPS is not much to write home about.
As soon as two weeks ago, I think they were planning to conduct an audit and file audited financials and then a form 10. This may have changed now if they are also looking at a restricted stock dividend. If they choose this option, I suppose that it will take even longer for the minority shareholders to get any money out of this.
As well as this:
Equity Art Corp Ltd (off balance sheet)
It took Putin one day to make covid disappear.
I think RD will add most value to ITUP in a role where he is working with listing procedures, economic models, investor relation strategies, how to create value by best investor relation practice and such. An investor relations sort of analyst, simply put.
I don't think a role where you have to deal with a lot of people, negotiating agreements etc is the best way to put his talents to use.
Bought a few more today in an attempt to get the share price up. But it just comes down again.
So why do you think they restrict some but allow others?
