Looks like Medinah received it's Auryn stock....
Looks like it will work out to be very close to the .00558 that was mentioned before.....
I guess I missed, where there were promises made.
Not saying it would be nice to have the company do as they had intended. But when does much of anything run on the intended time schedule anymore, especially if there's anything close to a government entity involved.....
Soon, next week.... Take your pick "sorry couldn't help myself".
No I don't know, it was inferred that it would be in the first quarter but I have not seen anything of substance to support that.
Per Medinah's announcement back in December 2017, they anticipated a conversion rate of 0.558 shares of CDCH for each share of MDMN that shareholders own. After the reverse/split it moves the decimal point to the left by two. I haven't seen or heard of any changes to this official statement.
I personally was happy to turn over the properties. Medinah continuously showed the inability to prove up the properties or find a significant partner that would give us a great deal, so in my opinion we would have either lost the properties to taxes or some other reason "or" our take would have completely crumbled to zero because of some type of maintenance fees. Once Les and company were exposed, medinah share holder's were not the only ones to be taken to the cleaner's, Masglas's loss of shares controversy with JJ, the Okanadian debacle along with the unreported share distribution should have wiped us out and I'm sure left a very unpleasant taste towards the company as far as Mesglas/Auryn was concerned. Actually I'm surprised we are still here. We could have been treated a lot of ways and some think there could have been a better way, but I'm not seeing it.
I think that once Auryn gives the shares to our registrar, our transfer of shares will take place at the .00558 conversion rate per share as communicated and Medinah will go away. I believe that the company does have to bring the fees up to date to file a final closing statement for public dissolution but I'm not 100% certain.
You should check with your brokerage firm, They may not have converted your shares, most likely their charging a fee and are waiting for you to acknowledge the fee request.
Guilty by association... She damn sure knew what was going on, profited by it, helped cover it up.... In the end did the right thing....
When I think of the position we're in, I blame Price, and I blame the board of directors for not staying on top of things and just letting things continue as usual. I also blame myself for investing so much without having constant updated information. The last thing that I was upset about was the fact we voted in 2012 to let Price have legal power of attorney to negotiate the deal with Ulander. Did he take advantage of this, did we somehow let verbage slip through the cracks and allow him to screw us. I guess we'll never know.
The one thing I do not blame our board of directors for is upon discovery, taking the worse case scenario and making it an ending disaster for my investment, or, renegotiating and taking the worst case scenario and salvaging it. Some seem to think that we actually had some type of leverage, but there was nothing left, anyone could have swooped in and claimed the mountain in a very short period of time.
I am not happy at all, and I a have not been jumping up and down about where we're at, so please don't think that I'm all Auryn motivated. But the reality is they didn't have to do anything and the property would have been theirs regardless.
I'm still not behind all that has transpired yet, as I still have to be shown how we are going to raise the funds to not only continue to prove up the properties but more importantly how and when are we going to have/get the funding to produce. Production is the only way to profit.
Still waiting to see where the cash is coming from to do any additional exploration or any "any" type of production "where's the money"
Enough said, I rest my case.
I would think that anyone that doesn't care whether or not that our transfer agent had anything to do with the fraud is not following the bouncing ball!
Those moron's helped screw us blind and if they have anything else to do with the share transfers and the transition from Auryn to CDCH and/or Medinah to CDCH I pray that there's legal eagle's watching over and if there's another slip up they should join Les in the house that Big Bubba built. I certainly don't trust them going forward so I hope the new Board of directors has new agents in mind (like a true legitimate company perhaps).
Classic!
Never a dead horse around when you need one....
Problem is he's no longer anonymous and doesn't get the shot over the bow....
Oh, did Les give up all that judgement monies, I guess I missed that update but hope so for his sake. We should know hopefully in quarterlies coming out.
Well, if he doesn't pay Medinah, then he'll have to answer his disclosure suit, wouldn't that be hilarious if they made that public... Better yet if they find out he's lying.... Then he would be Bubba's bi!Ch Lol..... Can't wait to see how it all play's out.
Lol, so Les is above judgements, court orders and even though he can't pay his own attorneys fees, he has his cash.
Over the last five to seven years Les has given away stolen stock to fund his own private bill's, daughter's care and other ill gotten expenditures. He has given share's to people to hold and lost records of who holds what, and guess what most if not all has been introduced into the market and is out of reach of Price. We will soon find out how smart Bubba's choice is.....
Hhhmmmmmmm... Let's see, Les had to let go of all Medinah, Cerro, Sierra gold and Auryn, has two judgements against him ( approximately $900 g's). Wow, has to hurt that pocket book. I'm especially interested in disclosure proceedings should Les not be able to pay judgements.... If he fails to fully disclose and gets caught, it could be a trip to Big Bubba's house of pain. It would be nice if Les went away.. but the guy just can't win. He stole all he could, now it's time to pay the Piper....
It's funny some can keep saying these things, Kevin is not Auryn, Kevin did not negotiate or settle for Auryn so they may proceed however they want....
As far as Price is concerned, he had to return what was left of the share's, all the preferred and drop the fact he Lent any monies or was owed any monies "ALL" ill gotten gain's but amounting to almost 4.5 million. That's gotta hurt the pocket.
He might be walking around for the time being, but if he is his head is down searching the ground for spare change... LOL
In our financial statements..... Medinah has no business operations other than owning a 26.469% equity stake in AURYN
Mining Chile SpA (AURYN) and smaller stakes in two additional public companies. AURYN is
a private Chilean mining company that owns 100% of the Altos de Lipangue Mining District.
Further information about AURYN can be found on their website, aurynmining.com. As a
minority shareholder in AURYN, Medinah’s rights are limited. Medinah is responsible for its
pro-rata share of AURYN’s capital costs and Medinah’s ownership in AURYN is subject to
dilution should Medinah not be able to meet any cash calls.
There are brick walls and then there's those who are just looking for someone to blame for their investment failure's. In case anyone is interested, the brick wall is easier to talk to.
I don't really care who, did what, with the contract in the Chilean room! Wish it was Colonel Mustered but we all know we got screwed over by the share molester plain and simple.
It's easy to continue to look for those to blame but facts are facts, we were in a predicament, no money, no stocks and facing certain bankruptcy with lawsuits pending, especially if Auryn decided to sue for breach and several other reasons.
Back bone, balls, whatever anyone wants to call it doesn't rectify the fact that we had any choice.
We owe gratitude to the few who did step up and keep us from going under. Sounds like we may have had to give up some stipulations. I don't know I thought we had seen the contract in it's entirety but I couldn't swear to that.
I'm still in the mindset that something from something is better than nothing at all.
Hopefully we soon have clarification...
What you do have to remember is that if these properties are purchased through Auryn using capital gains instead of issuing dividends to shareholders, that would effect us as to how we or CDCH pays their bill's, especially if Auryn were to have another cash call.
I agree with you. The problem is that in this type of negotiations who ever cares less wins. Unfortunately we had no money, no share's and had basically lost all are sugar daddies that were willing to foot our bills, desperate times for Medinah.
Auryn was hoping to have a "major" investor almost immediately as their situation changed as well losing some major backer's of their financial well being. Medinah also had an interest in keeping Auryn financially sound so they had money's to be able to prove up the mountain. To protect our investment and to keep Auryn working on the mountain, we took a major stake in Auryn with a way to buy-in more should they hit paydirt or in this instance gold.
Meanwhile, Medinah also had to have a reason (this is speculation on my part), not to hand over all the cash (should it come) to the shareholders, their way of keeping large cash deposits to reinvest in Auryn. In my mind's eye I was more concerned that it was for a more diabolical reason and after the share disaster, I'm not sure I was wrong.
I'm pretty satisfied that we didn't get the upfront monies as I'm sure that it would have walked with the share's as well. I would have loved a cash dividend, but that was never going to happen.
HR... Had a great find, please read his post. We may have wanted to consider the buy-in but our situation has changed as well thanks to Les.
According to their statement they still have not completed a feasibility study, initiated site locations for early stage production maybe. A billion dollar deposit does not profit if it costs are a billion and a half to produce, there are early signs that some production cost can be scraped off the ground and hauled off while other production could take fifteen to twenty years. I have heard that the mountain could produce for thirty plus years but at what costs. There's more acre's than can be proven up in two or three years but they are trying.
I am sure that they will/or have come up with a number to IPO with. But security regulations being what they are, I would think Kevin wouldn't want that information till it is released by Auryn.
I don't see what advantage we had. We were in control of the property's for years and never advanced them, didn't have money to explore or advance and owed money and share's. We were actually on the verge of loosing all our properties especially after the share shaving debacle. Auryn could have sued, taken everything. Even if they just walked we would have lost everything. Auryn did their exploration, found out cost vs gains would not be in their best interests in the beginning. It would take time and money.
Chapin negotiated a deal where we not only didn't lose the properties we had, but gained a substantial interest in a whole lot more property plus funding.... It's no doubt it's going to take awhile longer but something from nothing is much better than nothing at all.
I couldn't agree more! I would think that a transfer agent would have more of a fiduciary responsibility. I do not know if Les had absolute power of attorney over the transactions that took place or not. Who cares!! It seems to me they might have skated because of information handed over in the handlings of the lawsuits against Medinah, I have no way of knowing this. One way or another, they had to know what was going on and I for one would think it criminal not to bring Les's criminal actions to the attention of Medinahs board.
That's interesting.... How much money did he waste?? How much time?? I know Kevin never said anything about seeing Les in jail, he absolutely did not say anything about recovering all the share's or money or restitution. I don't know where that ever came from but a complete fabrication of the facts.
I would be very interested in reading all of this if we're true. Could anyone provide me the links or quotes? I would really appreciate it and gladly eat my word's....
We're dealing with the Auryn that knew JJ and Les were nothing but scam artists and scum. If Auryn ever gave a dime to Medinah, shareholders would have never have seen it or any other cash, they would have found someway to pocket any monies given to Medinah. There would have been even bigger embezzlement lawsuits that would have tied up the mountain for ages.
Thank goodness they weren't that foolish but still got stuck by Lester the share molester. Thank goodness we had someone who was willing to step up and shut that scumbag down. KT Useless?? I don't think so...
Lol, well one out of three ain't bad, your percentages are getting better... Hopefully Kevin got what he wanted, couldn't blame him as I'm sure Medinah was a lot more work than he anticipated. Thank goodness he was up to the challenge.
As far as Auryn is concerned they have already published their accolades and respect for Kevin and third the shareholders... Thanks to Les every shareholder has lost, no winner's, not you or anyone else, maybe just maybe, because of the work of one individual,we may have the chance to recoup some of our losses. A winning profit?? We can only wait and see...
Kevin told me several weeks before giving his resignation that he had excepted a senior position at Microsoft, when I pushed asking how this would effect his position with Medinah, he simply told me he could not/would not discuss that at the time. I would soon hear all the information when it comes out from Medinah.
Kevin has always been a stand-up man. He has called me out on occasion when I have asked him about "rumour chat" from other shareholders (to the point of embarrassing me). I have told everyone, if you contact him, he will have the same conversation with each and every shareholder that he would with anyone considered to be an insider. Yes, he has ticked me off in the past, but I respect everything he has said and done.
There was no call for Kevin's resignation. I bet even "you" do not have one single email or any other type of contact with regards to Kevin's resignation to either Auryn or Medinahs board of directors.
Somehow this group that was calling for Kevin's resignation sounds like some kind of made-up underground group... Maybe we should make a movie about it starring Tom Cruise.... Because it could have been called "mission Impossible".
Lol... Again confused, which three shareholders wanted his resignation.. I know of only one. (Even that shareholders told me in private that he admires the job Kevin did).
What big picture are you referring to, life??
Because there are only two sides of the picture where Medinah is/was concerned, 1) the side which Les was on trying to bankrupt Medinah so he could pocket all he could Scot free and all shareholders have zero to show for their purchase of shares, or, the Medinah where Kevin stepped in saved and protected the company from said bankruptcy and now have a chance to get some of our expenditures back
I'm sorry? I guess I'm a bit confused on what Kevin lost for us? Time and money?
When Kevin offered his free service's no one said no. When Kevin came on board there were two new lawsuits pending against Medinah that had to be answered in court. Kevin did so on his own time and money. When the time came for cash to be paid, he and a few others met that challenge as well. Both lawsuits were met negotiated and settled without shareholders losing time or money. Anything lost was because of the scumbag Les Price. Both lawsuits were either brought by him or because of him. He did not try to negotiate except to steal and line his own pockets. He only stopped because Kevin effectively stripped him of everything Medinah, made him excuse his lawsuit and took some of those proceeds and settled the other suit in which he also enriched himself in a scam. CDCH also asked Kevin to come onboard and help them straighten out their mess as far as paperwork. Kevin was able to get both companies back on track and in good standing.
As far as wasting time, I don't understand again we have been waiting for Auryn to not only prove up the mountain, but also get a major to partner up with and get all of their financial information together while applying and trying to get listed on a few different stock exchanges.... Maybe they should have asked Kevin to come on board....
In the end Kevin did except some compensation, I think he earned everything he was given.....
Lol.. Your"FACTS" are incorrect... Kevin has never vowed to see Les in jail or vowed to return all share's.. another misconstrued tale... If he did please show where he said those things, fact is he never has. What he did do was school Les into submission so he has no more to do with either Medinah or Auryn....
Lol... I am hearing is that Tupper is a highly intelligent business man with ferocious instincts and was aggressive enough to take down the likes of the scumbag Price, afterwards being the humble gentleman he is was willing to step aside and let Auryn take the helm.., VERY astute assessment.. l agree.....
Kevin Tupper is an honest man that has worked his butt off to make sure this stock goes forward, there are those who are jealous and make demeaning remarks about him... To bad so sad
Lol.... I'm sorry, where did you get that math?? If we are offered 10 to 1 (which has been quoted on other board's), that would be a great deal, I have calculations that indicate another number. But am not willing to offer any company a number. I will wait for their offer before acknowledging mine... There are many variables, but not anywhere close to your reference....
I couldn't honestly tell you that, I do know there were some John doe's that were willing to settle right away when they found out what they were apart of, but there were a few stragglers that held up the process...
While the angel investors had no skin in the game so to speak, and most had returned shares appropriately issued to them A)Some had family and friends invest in the stock, and B)There were those who were ticked that Price did what he did on their watch while it was their responsibility.
It was nice to see some pony up to try and make a difference...
