I would be scared as crap in these days and times to mess around with people and their cash. These penny stock company heads see a quick way to fleece people out of their hard-earned money and not give them anything back.
Hell, I have yet to invest in a penny stock company that appears to be doing anything right. After this run, I am going back to the major exchanges as penny land is way more volatile than I want to deal with.
Good DD tool to use - www.addresses.com. I found a couple of Robert W. Thayer entries on this site in NY. One of them is bound to be the guy that is holding our money ransom.
Go to Addresses.com (should be a DD tool for all penny investors going forward). Look up Ryan Coblin and choose FL as the state. It will bring up a home address and personal phone number. Then, pull up his address using Google Maps and get a satellite or Earth view of the home he lives in. His home has a basketball court outside. Amazing what you can purchase when accumulating investor money and not giving them anything back. Really sad!
Company Officers
Ryan Coblin CEO
Lewis Plaut President, Secretary
Lewis Plaut is also listed on Addresses.com in FL, too.
I just played this game on-line and it is interesting.

RED FLAG on THRA: Yahoo Message Board poster who was burned by Therma-Med as an investor visited their contact address and was told they are no longer there in addition to the fact they didn't pay their rent and bailed. YouTube video links here:

PetInThe.Net is just a template website. Nothing's happening there.
Buffit, I continually applaud you for being one of the few that speak the whole truth on this site about garbage stocks such as this eDoorways 3-Card-Monte scam.
I decided to sell my position in HFBG and watch from the sides for a while to see the long term differences between old management and new management.
My gut instinct said to bail and further observe the new CEO JAG and her execution style (not just PRs but actual product placement, share reductions, audited filings, etc). Something tells me that posters like TruthInTime and AutoRate may have some valid points that should be taken into consideration.
I could be wrong but this is JMO.
If you have some type of monitoring service on your brokerage account, use it. I have Sharebuilder and it allows me to set up e-mail and text notifications using certain criteria on stocks such as share price movement, etc. That way, when it starts moving, you can set up your sell order.
What is your take on this when you have access to much more capital to invest? Hold for the R/S or buy now?
I am at a crossroads here. Any insight appreciated.
Heck, I raise you $9 and call forth with absolute, unwavering faith $10 per share BEFORE a buyback. Another round of buybacks at $50 and then a 1:4 forward split when it reaches $100. Buybacks and forward splits in the shareholders' favor are the ONLY options. Positive growth and expansion, outstanding executive management, products and customer service are the ways of this company currently known as SMVI.
Use "The Secret", even with your investments, and watch the beauty of The Universe bring forth that which you strongly see in your mind, feel in your heart and experience in your being EVEN BEFORE IT SHOWS UP.
What a shame! Instead of offering a real product or service of value to customers, they offer empty promises to shareholders in the form of useless PRs.
EDWY is a scam. I see they are at "Yield" on OTCMarkets.com. Next up, "Stop" and then "Caveat Emptor". Go, EDWY, go! You can do it.
SMVI's Unaudited Quarterly Report that was released August 11th, 2011:

Interesting that this didn't receive more attention....like it was quietly released.
Just received this automated message from ShareBuilder about SMVI:
SMVI volume exceeded its 10-day Average by 476.92% with a volume of 7.5M
Evans is still showing up in the news promoting Ligatt:

Checkmate!
It amazes me how this "crooketry" is so blatant and rampant but there are no real crackdowns on this area of market investing. Simply amazing.
This company is bound to attract big money interests. Only a matter of time multi-millionaires and billionaires will be throwing their weight into this company....and that is when the rocket ship will launch into a new galaxy.
Barchart.com showing GERS having a "Buy" recommendation:

Yahoo Message Boards have some real interesting stuff about DTSL:

Like Football, Evans will go into prison a tight end and come out a wide receiver. :)
I think the big dogs are waiting until after the Marksman before they swoop in with their stockpiles of cash. It's only smart to take that approach.
The outcome of this Marksman will have a lot of weight on the direction of GERS...no infringement, GERS would not be worth much and may be stuck in sub-penny land for a long, long, long time. Infringement by other companies = payday!
StockLearner, this company will catch the attention of billionaires. It's only a matter of time before someone with SERIOUS cash buys in.
I pray that the R/S is averted, the company wins all of their lawsuits, YA is sent packing and the shareholders' value increases like mad.
Best post today!
Ligatt News (not necessarily share-increasing news::
https://www.liquidmatrix.org/blog/2011/08/11/is-this-the-end-of-ligatt-security/
Ligatt Security appears to be heading further downhill.
I doubt this is the worse stock. I have that I believe is far worse: SM**. Click on my name and look at the stocks I am in. APCX is at least getting some movement. This other one isn't getting anything.
Go APCX!
I'll get lost if you buy my shares. Other than that, get use to me being around. :)
Holding on, holding on while watching HFBG go strong! It is only a matter of time before HFBG blow up with Grand Mama.
HFBG is on its way to becoming a major player in the beverage business. Go HFBG / JAG / LJ.
Very reassuring. Thanks for the clarification.
It sure sounds like it to me. The next 3 quarters are going to be real interesting.
Just a thought: What if Sunoco buys out YA's stake in GERS? What could come out of that besides great news?
You sound like you are a value investor....which is a good thing.
Fantastic news! I am looking forward to the shareholders receiving extremely favorable news. I believe that something HUGE is coming out of this in our favor.
GERS = Giving Extraordinary Returns to Shareholders!
I no longer fear the R/S news. I see outstanding news eliminating the R/S or turning it into a lowering of the A/S as well. I am going to believe that the best is on its way with even better right behind it. Saddle up, gang!
I like what they are offering. Interesting. I'll hang on to APCX and see where they go with SSLC.
What is the SSLC?
Lol! TruthInTime, I understand where you are coming from although I don't feel that way about this investment.
I feel that way about another POS stock I invested in - you can tell if you look at my profile and see what I am invested in - where the so-called CEO is a straight up thief with no real product. All he does is put out bullcrap PRs and never completely launch his "next life-changing" product. That was a newbie lesson I paid over $1200 to learn. Now, I don't invest any more than $100-$200 in any penny stock at one time.
My thought concerning the thief CEO is that he is in the business of selling shares, doing R/S and then conning new people all over again. So, like you, I try to warn newbies about it. TruthInTime, for the heck of it, you can be absolutely right about HFBG. However, I would have to see that for myself as the new CEO JAG seems to be on top of business for HFBG.
Now, if product is not placed and JAG does not have any sales and income data to report, then I would be the first to say "TruthInTime told us so." So far, JAG seems to be much better than what was going on with the company before she came.
I was in Walgreen's today and noticed some gallon bottles of tea sitting on the shelf. My first thought? GrandMaMa, you could be there real soon!
Go HFBG and JAG!
Hmm, what's up with that volume today that pushed it to .0002? Someone's playing games again??
Wow. Nothing has changed since I sold my position in EDWY a few weeks ago. EDWY still has people wondering when their magic wand website will be released.
I wonder if anyone will begin to see that eDoorways is in the business of selling shares and releasing phony Pee Rs to get newbies to "invest", not actually creating a blockbuster Google busting, Facebook destroying, SEO marketing website.
Folks, the show's over. Nothing is coming from this company but empty promises, useless PRs and false aspirations to "change the landscape of e-commerce." Sorry you got caught holding the bag. Don't worry, I am a bag holder in about 4-5 other useless "companies", too. I may have escaped EDWY but I got GOT in a few others. I chuck it up to being part of the learning process.
Prediction: Yield or Stop status by year's end on EDWY with a slow progression to Caveat Emptor within the 2nd quarter of 2012 if they don't go bankrupt.
When I read some posts, I see posters saying things like:
"We still have some .0007s. 0008s coming up." What do they mean? The amount of shares at .0007 being sold before the stock price move up to .0008? What determines if a stock rises or falls in price?
"Slap the ask!" Is that basically telling bid sitters to stop trying to get below the ask price and buy at the asking price?
