Haitians Want to Build Their Communities
Smells like MC Endeavors Model to me.... job creation + innovative solutions to dynamic problems....
Haiti - Reconstruction : Access to the property at a reasonable price
28/11/2011 09:11:15
The Haitian Foundation for Recovery and Development, "wants to build communities," declared us the President of the Board of Directors of the FHRD, Mr. Joseph Durante,, priest of the religious community Scalabrini. "Since February 2011, we held meetings with about twenty families in difficulty of housing. Beneficiary members have learned to know each other, share ideas, to develop regulations for a harmonious life in community. It is these discussions that allowed to have more space in the main hall and a community store in this first village." The housing of each family is 45 m2.
Mr. Yvon Espérance, treasurer of the FHRD told us "we will inspire us of the principles of a cooperative housing for the project. During the signing of the lease, each tenant will pay a partnership share of 500 gourds and will be selected according to criteria. The beneficiaries will be above all, tenants for the first ten years of housing occupancy. They will pay the average cost of rent 'pou youn piès kay' in the municipality either 8.500 gourds each six months. After ten years, the beneficiary will obtain ownership of the housing, of buildings but not the land.
Mr. Durante and Mr. Espérance are very confident for the future and the creation of other villages. The support does not end with handing over of the keys to the beneficiaries they have mentioned us. A management committee will be formed to support the community in the village. The inauguration of this first project of construction of houses will be held November 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at Lilavois 58, Croix-des-Bouquets.

Just have to repeat this point...
He also addressed criticism of aid distribution as being too slow by pointing out that 88 per cent out of the $4.6 billion in aid pledged by countries last year, have already been dispersed or committed to specific programmes for transport, debris removal, education, job creation, water and sanitation, public administration, health, housing, energy, among other areas.
Almost two years after earthquake, Haiti shows signs of progress – UN official
[Deputy Special Representative for Haiti Nigel Fisher]
Deputy Special Representative for Haiti Nigel Fisher
29 November 2011 –
Almost two years after the devastating earthquake that killed over 200,000 people, Haiti is showing remarkable signs of progress, a United Nations official said today, stressing that reconstruction efforts need to be put into context to assess their effectiveness.
Nigel Fisher, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Haiti told reporters in New York that there have been significant advances on education, health, job creation, and infrastructure, among other sectors, through effective reconstruction projects.
Mr. Fisher emphasized that to be able to provide an integral picture of the situation in Haiti, pre-earthquake conditions need to be considered.
Before the earthquake, Haiti was already the poorest country in the Southern Hemisphere, Mr. Fisher said.
“Three quarters of the population earned and still earn less than two dollars a day, 70 per cent did not have stable jobs, more than half of children did not go to school, and the great majority – about 70 to 80 per cent – had no access to electricity, and only five per cent of roads were in decent conditions.
“The earthquake highlighted decades of chronic political instability, lack of basic social services and economic opportunities that left so many Haitians in deep poverty and chronic vulnerability,” Mr. Fisher added, stressing it was against this backdrop that the international community and the Government responded.
However, Mr. Fisher said that large-scale recovery projects that were already starting to have a visible impact in the country.
“In July 2010, 1.5 million Haitians were sheltered in camps receiving clean water, food, medical care and access to latrines. Today, 500,000 people are still in those camps. While this is still a significant number, it represents a two-thirds reduction in just over a year,” he said.
Mr. Fisher stressed that even as things improve, aid is still needed to continue the work carried out so far. “Even as housing and resettlement programmes accelerate, thousands of people still have basic social needs at a time when humanitarian funding is decreasing and too many partners are closing essential operations.”
Regarding the cholera epidemic last year, Mr. Fisher said that a national response system and an alert system are now in place, and that fatality rates have dropped to just over one per cent.
Mr. Fisher underscored that there is still much to be done on all fronts in the country, but urged countries to see the bigger picture, and keep supporting Haiti in the long-term.
Progress should be put into context, he said. As an example he said Haiti has managed to get rid of almost 50 per cent of debris, equivalent to five million cubic metres. In contrast, it took five and a half years to remove 1.3 million cubic metres in Aceh after it was hit by a tsunami in 2006.
“The suggestion that no progress has been achieved is to paint a false picture,” Mr. Fisher said, adding that continued support will make it possible for the country to achieve further advances.

Laying it out right in front of your eyes.
Lack of understanding of where we are at in the technical level 2 standpoint makes your understanding ignorant. Lack of understanding of why the share price is so artifiically depressed and how fast this will go up once any type of buying hits the ask is funny as well.
I can't believe people do not realize how much pure arbitrage is going on right here. I am going to harass my brother like no other for the rest of his life for being the biggest all time noob when I continue to lay it out for him and he still is babbling about shit rather than trying to understand where we are at.
You guys think LEXG was big, just wait... MSMY will deliver like no other... but for legitimate reasons at heart.
Chasing because to get to .03 from here there is 1000% returns. I am sure you know other places to get those types of returns though.
(Sarcasm)
Just the nature of my brother, he will be chasing at .03 once he realizes how much this is about to run and how quickly.
Trust me, I am making fun of him.
I would but I am already all-in.
He is just a chump, leeching off of my inside knowledge on the situation here. If he knew what was coming to MSMY he would not be wasting his time playing pumps.
IlliniMatt81 is all talk and no walk. That is my diagnosis.
That is right, I am calling out my own brother.
I love how people are playing pumps when you could buy shares at .003 an and sell for .01 soon for 333% profit within a couple days MAX. All it would take is ~$5000 (level 2 on ask side keeps thinning) for a move back to pennyland and beyond to happen but yet noobs play other pumps b/c they have no faith in the goods here at MSMY.
Stupidity has reached an all time high for anyone looking to invest in this stock and has not done so yet.
IMO at least.
I guess I am biased, but honestly now, sometimes people can be looking at the opportunity of a lifetime and make shit up to justify why it is not. That is what I think is going on at these price levels in this stock currently.
103Million Public Float -- No Share Dilution - No Toxic Financing - Fundamentals closer to playing out than ever - due for news release soon enough -- can buy 1.5% of the company for $5000....
Yet... only a couple of people will get these deals (if any at all if nobody buys)... because once we break .044, and then .01, and then .03... there will be no shares to be had and this will be an ask slapping party like you have never seen.
This level 2 is about to be CLEAN....
Time is ticking.
Be interesting to see what happens when .0044 goes down.
I wonder how thin this level 2 really is once we break some resistance to the upside. Any takers? All we need is a couple grand to find out...
Not my decision now, all I am doing is waiting to see what happens. :)
If he does not buy someone will eventually.
Haiti: The dashboard of the Government disclosed this week
06/12/2011 13:26:16
The dashboard [roadmap] of actions of government Conille-Martelly should be made public this week, it will include the actions that intends to undertake and carry out the government in the next 12 months.
Before leaving for Caracas, Venezuela, to attend the first Summit of CELAC, the President Martelly unveiled some elements of this document "...we will start to do things at the country level, we will start creating jobs and begin the reconstruction. We have a dashboard here, which contains many programs [...] between January and March 2012, to Morne Cabri we will begin to provide 480 houses, and 200 houses to Duvivier, always in the same period we will start to renovate the Bicentenaire, of 90 million gourds, and that money, is the money of the Haitian state; we will build 10 lakes collinear for 175 million gourds (money from the State); carry out urban renovation of the town of Marmelade, 50 million gourds (money from the State); as well as of the City of Grande Rivière du Nord, adoquinage and drainage, 60 million gourds (money from the State); urban renovation of the town of Ennery, 20 million gourds (money from the State) and the urban renovation of the city of Mirebalais, 150 million gourds of public treasury. That's one page that I read, the roadmap includes a dozen of pages..."
Michel Martelly had indicated that on his return from Venezuela he would study the document "I received the document this morning, so when I get back I will study it..."
"We expect the reactions of the President and the Prime Minister before publishing the document in the press," declared Israël Jacky Cantave spokesman of the Prime Minister.
Remember that this document follows the government retreat in November at Club Indigo. "Before the end of this month, we will announce to the public that over the next 12 months, this project will begin, this project will end and the list of inventory of the activities that will serve as dashboard, both to the President of Republic, to the Parliament and to the public to keep us accountable for the promises we make [...] to be able to tell everyone, that, for example, the reconstruction of the airport will begin now and and this is when it will end, the reconstruction of the Parliament, roads, schools, health centers that have been promised, when it will begin, and when it will be completed.
With this dashboard, the public will be able to see if indeed the government moving in the direction it should move forward. We also ask the international community, to do the same work, to give us quickly an exhaustive list of projects and programs that are underway and simultaneously we say them our priorities for the next 12 months, to ensure us, that we work cohesions towards the vision of the President of the Republic and the general policy statement that I presented to Parliament.
Is something that will be made in complete harmony with all sectors, we will obviously integrate the political sector within the of good living together, whose we have speak in the statement [General Policy]. In the coming days I will form a Commission, which will work on how we can realize this pact. So basically we advance..." had declared the Prime Minister Garry Conille few days before the government retreat.

Morning MSMY'ers
"All in the family"

I have been sharing why I think what I think on the Ihub Boards for the last year as well.
Ihub has been a great tool for me to learn about this stock and have feedback! Thanks to everyone for all the great information, I hope I have been able to share useful information for others as well.
Special props to RetiredMM.
Good luck MSMY Longs.
Let's see what happens ;)
Hah...
Nah, I am not selling until we are in dollar-land, and holding my core position until multi-dollar and beyond-land (which I think will be hyped too after any type of business contract given these depressed levels). And that will only be for some profits when I am timing to sell high and then buy back low.
I think this company is the real deal. The reason I think we have not been updated is because they are busy working on business rather than updating shareholders. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do in order to get the job done. Assuming this company is the real deal, it has meetings and resources needed to be allocated to the Haitian Government & the people in need there, not the shareholders who complain on I-hub (sorry for the harsh truth, but put some perspective on what this company is selling and the dire situation that country is still in).
The company's job is to secure business and sell their product. It was the job of the DTCC to issue all of the outstanding shares in a fair manner, however, by the looks of it they blew it again. Ever wonder why in 2012 there will be no more paper certificate stocks? It is because they can barely handle what is going on now, let alone actually keeping track of what is going on.
Lot of people will be surprised about this stock...
Think about what 20,000$ in buys could do to this stock with this level 2, it would send it to maybe .03 cents again.... which would post 900% gains... what do you think will happen with internet hype and then the ultimate wild-card, news from Haiti?
I like my chances... I have nothing but time... I play fundamentals. I have been following this stock for almost a year now, and have sold out of all other positions to go "all-in" in this stock. I originally bought in at .13, at .08, at .03 and then added like crazy at .008. I am not upset at all, because I know this is only noise. Either when buyers emerge or when the company lets us know it is doing its job well, or at the same time... we are going to see a huge explosion...
As my college buddies used to say...
Go big or go home.
RiskoN
Right now there are market makers just selling back and forth to each other. Even though there are not trades occuring, the algorithms are changing the level 2. Tomorrow we reach "equilibrium." Buying pressure stops the algorithmic pattern...
Really we have seen almost no buying at all going on by the public.
People are going to be VERY SURPRISED how thin this level 2 will be.
And when the company finally does release some news... there will be immensely less selling pressure as there was before (which was clearing house issuing public float)....
I am thinking dollarland is a good possibility by the end of the week given the current state of the technicals and the strong chance of fundamentals playing out soon.
I think there is going to be a lot of hype behind this one as the returns are going to draw more buyers.... it will become overvalued and I will look for a top to get out and then rebuy when I feel it is honing in on a bottom.
Who knows... the level 2 is thin and keeps thinning by the moment...
If we can break up past .0044...
This should get interesting in a hurry...
I know right? I am his brother and have been trying to convince him. I own 2.5million shares, my other brother owns 4.5million shares, and he owns 2million shares but is afraid to buy one more million for like $5,000... weak huh? That is what I keep telling him :P
P.S. I am out of money or I would totally put more in right now too.... this is pure arbitrage from my understanding of the situation.
P.S.S. Just signed up for premium ihub message boards. Anyone have any questions about what is going on? I think I have a really good scope of why this company has a legit shot at being bigger than Mc Donalds in the next 10 years.

Seems Haiti is getting their act together.
In the stock market, the way to make money is to buy when the company is undervalued and sell when they are over-valued. Did you know that the company is not in control of issuing its own stock? The DTCC, which is the "master clearing house," owned by JP Morgan, is in charge of issuing all outstanding shares to the market. Knowing this, its quite easy to put some pieces together and realize the share price here is a gift for those smart enough to understand the dynamics of what is going on...
Apparently you are not good at trying to deduce this balance, nor would you attempt to try to value this company in future conditions, nor are you familiar with why the stock price has artificially gone down.
No offense, but your opinion is useless.

Martelly is convinced and has made announcements
The President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, accompanied by several Ministers and of the Senators Jocelerme Privert and Wencesclass Lambert, returned to the country, this Sunday, Dec. 4, after his successful participation at the first Summit of Heads of State of Latin America and the Caribbean (CELAC) which was held in Venezuela on December 2 and 3.
Apart from Venezuela, Haiti was the country of honor at this forum. Satisfied, the Head of State, in a press conference held at the Diplomatic Room of the Toussaint Louverture Airport, thanked his counterpart Hugo Chávez and renewed the gratitude of the Haitian people to the Venezuelan President whose the country supports considerably haiti particularly through the program Petrocaribe. Haiti: The money was not invested properly
President Michael Martelly
05/12/2011 15:29:02
Haiti - Reconstruction : «The money was not invested properly»
The financial aid granted to Haiti after January 12, 2010 have not been invested "properly" because they focused on the victim instead of immediately bet on the reconstruction and development, declared the President Martelly toan AFP journalist. "The money was not invested properly, instead of bringing water and food to people, we could have begun the reconstruction, providing jobs and that the same people would have been able to buy food and water," said President Martelly during the interview in Caracas, Venezuela.
"What was done to save lives was justified, but from a practical point of view this money could have been used in other ways to contribute to sustainable development" of Haiti, ensuring that it is not" time to blame anyone," but to look ahead.
"The money was given to organizations that have done things unbeknownst to the government [...] some have taken advantage of our weakness and we must change this [...] We have a plan, we know the priorities [...] n the near future, we plan to use it to help develop Haiti," asserts Martelly.
"We decided to change the way we do the things in Haiti, we not want any more 'gifts', we want to promote Haiti [...] also speak of our wealth, that has not been exploited. We want to show this weakness, poverty and misery, as an opportunity," added the Head of State during the interview.

Slow and Steady wins the race...
We don't need news to move from here...
But news would really make this interesting...
Based on the hourly chart and level 2 analysis, I think it is about time to put MSMY on breakout alert... Nowhere else for it to go really... Once the .0042s are broken, and then the .0044s go... this is blue-skies to .01 and then .03.... once it breaks .03, yikes...
If we get news during this run... this will be one for the ages.
RiskoN
Agreed, I am looking for an afternoon run maybe as high back to .03 cents. The level 2 is super thin, I do not think people realize that yet...
Soon though. Everyone is chasing from here on out...
My position has been built.
Looking forward to the coming days.
MSMY!!
I hear ya Sonoil...
People here must either already be tapped out or completely uninformed about what is going on... because these prices are as close to pure arbitrage from the way I see it...
MSMY - Level 2 Super Thin
This stock has been primed so much that the eyes are there. However, I believe that the issue with this stock was that since it was a newly registered stock, the clearing house was not able to issue all of the registered public float (103million) in time. Since the "crash", looking at the volume in dollar amount, it has been anemic. Once resistance points at .045, 01, and .03 are broken, I believe the level 2 will be super thin because of the type of people that are in this stock. A lot are holding for the fundamentals, which happen to be looking better and better by the day. There is 200million+ in this new deal for industrial parks for Haiti reconstruction... is this the perfect scenario in the works? I am a believer... and a large shareholder (full disclosure). It does not matter to me if it goes up before revenues come in, because I play fundamentals first... but technically, can there be a better entry point than around here? I doubt it...

From what I see...
We are about or even less than $10,000 away of ask buying from a huge run.
Level 2 will be BARREN. No cheap "freebie" shares to be had anymore. Not sure how this has not been picked up as a "bottom play," when it is clear that the bid side selling has stopped.
I believe the selling was the clearing house failing to issue all of the shares to the public (lack of buying interest) so they had to dump to market makers. Now over, this stock is sitting at artificially depressed levels with 1000% returns possible just for picking up and flipping at .03-.05 which should be a no brainer considering that used to be the 52-week low.....
Remember, there has been no dilution and no toxic financing on this stock...
That and the fundamentals of revenue in Haiti is right in plain sight. 255 Million Dollar grant including housing? I think it is time for our bird to fly...
Doubters are doubting now, but will be chasers once we break .01 and then .03... A repeat of the June Run ups is coming at a minimum...
Why do you even bother posting anymore?
