you bet.
I still haven't bought back any new shares since the R/S, but I probably should before the price takes off again.
ongressman LaHood's Staff Backs Homeland Security's Funding Trident's ProMag
August 06, 2003 07:31:00 AM ET
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 2003--The Peoria-based staff of Congressman Ray LaHood (R-Ill), Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Subcommittee On Terrorism and Homeland Security has presented Trident's ProMag rare-earth permanent magnet-powered quick sealing system to the Department of Homeland Security for potential funding in order to enable the nation's 31,000-plus fire departments to purchase ProMag systems as part of the regular equipment package carried on fire engines and trucks. The systems, which have received enthusiastic endorsements from the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Chicago Fire Department, would give to the fire departments of the nation the ability to quickly and inexpensively seal leaks and ruptures in storage tanks and pipelines (among many applications) caused by terrorist activity. The ProMag system employs super powerful magnets to affix leak and rupture sealing patches, even when the leak or rupture involves hazardous or corrosive materials. ProMag's value to the safety of the public and the environment is considerable. No other device or product available today can equal ProMag's performance.
Arland Dunn, Chairman and CEO of 21st Century Technologies, Inc. TFCT said, "The average fire department in this country operates 2 (and a fraction) fire trucks/engines per department. Trident, our wholly-owned subsidiary, will equip them with ProMags, greatly increasing their effectiveness as anti-terrorism tools, working to protect the citizens and security interests of this country. The only problem has been the general lack of money. The availability of federal funding to the individual fire departments to purchase ProMags will be a wise investment in our future. Tank farms, pipelines, railroad tank cars are all easy and prime targets for terrorist activities. The ready availability of ProMag through our fire departments enhances our well-being as a nation. We are ready to respond to the call of the Bravest of our country to provide to them our terrorist-blunting ProMags."
Commenting further on Congressman LaHood's Peoria-based staff's interest in ProMag, Chairman Dunn said, "They saw quickly the value of providing federal funding to our fire departments to enable the acquisition of ProMags. Our business will benefit, obviously. And so will our Nation's guard against terrorist actions on our soil."
21st Century's Trident Technologies Inc. manufactures two versions of its magnet-powered sealing devices; ProMag, designed for land-based applications, and SeaPatch, designed for marine applications. Trident's powerful magnetic seal systems are becoming established in the marketplace. Among its users are some of the world's largest corporations, such as Exxon-Mobil XOM, CSX CSX, Conoco COP, Dow Chemical DOW and the Union Pacific Railroad SP.
Trident's rare-earth magnets have been acquired for custom applications by the United States Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command's (NAVSEA) Emergency Ship Salvage Material (ESSM) http://www.essmnavy.net. The ESSM system is a mixture of bases and other facilities that provide ship salvage, pollution control and engineering equipment on an emergency basis. Additionally, the Canadian Military Authority has acquired custom-designed Trident rare-earth magnets on an ongoing basis for confidential applications.
"The assistance of Congressman LaHood's good offices to ProMag will be of great help in our efforts to bring these products to the place in the market which they deserve," said Mr. Dunn. "Trident and 21st Century are entering into an exciting period of beneficial growth, ignited by the Department of Homeland Security and our nation's need for enhanced security."

hahah...my current svelt female will have enough $$$ for her OWN little playmate :)
:>)
When I'm old and wrinkled, I'll have enough $ to pay a young and svelt female to take care of me.
:>)
WOW..BIG volume/price jump today!
some good points, some not so good.
That fact that I do not have children (nor want them) is irrelevant. There's enough of them by our siblings that I've seen all I care to see about the care/feeding/raising of children, and I want no part of it :)
The fact that my gay relative and his partner of 18 years can not enjoy the legal rights of other 'married' people is plain and simply wrong.
The fact that the white lesbian couple up the street adopded two UNWANTED black children from a jailed crack whore and are doing one hell of a great job of it seems not to matter to society.
And, if gay couples can't adopt children because of not having a mommy and a daddy, then NO single woman should ever be able to adopt, let alone go to a sperm bank and pro-create on her own.
:>)
could someone please post ONE legitamate NON-RELIGOUS BASED reason why gays shouldn't marry?
I can't think of a single one.
I disagree. America as a society has grown more and more diverse, and more and more accepting of lifestyles other than traditional, religous based norms.
I personally have NO problem with any two people of any sex deciding to make a lifetime commitment to each other, and therefore should be allowed all the LEGAL rights that a government 'sanctioned' (for lack of a better word) marriage entials.
it's completely up to the COUPLE to determine if their own PERSONAL religous beliefs allow their marriage to be 'valid' (I hate that term) in the eyes of whatever diety they deem to be important to them. The govt needs to stay the hell out of it.
ROTFLMAO.
touche'.
dg
ETCR :>)
Hang on, boys..it's gonna be a hell of a ride. Shoulda bought some yesterday at .025.
http://www.siliconinvestor.com/stocktalk/msg.gsp?msgid=19165425
so THIS is where everyone went :)
it's depressing having this stock at .03 or less.
and of course, I took the tax loss on WTAI in december, and didn't get back in at .02 on tuesday this week as I had planned (bought a few other things instead).
DOH.
and WTAI is still climbing this am.
d
check out todays PR. The 'Jensen" gang is at it again. I think there's 3 'Jensens" that have been consultants for ECNC over the past two or three years. All now have thier own companies 'using' the ECNC product.
duh.
I'm long out of this pup, but still lurking...
dave
ya'll following FSTI and Paul Egan?? I can't believe ECNC is still even at this game.
what a joke. Take some time and read the filing from the 13th.
Told ya I'd find you a good one :>)
heheheh :>)
any thoughts about todays PR?
I just heard about EDIS today...Doing DD tonight.
dave g
look at EDIS.
dg
I don't do web design. Just critisize the piss out of bad ones :>)
dg
might be time to hire a REAL website design company. Site looks pretty amaturish for a TV station. Image is everything.
dg
nah..just the normal regret of selling to soon. I still made a nice profit, and retained a nice number of 'free' shares.
dg
LOL...well, I know I oversold MY shares :>)
LOL...you might want to pick up some of Tom's free fertilizer.
:>)
Let's just hope we're not being jacked around in an attempt to raise the stock price.
I sold last week at .032 and jumped back in at .024 today. We'll see what July brings.
dave
thanks for the insight. I'll be watching :>)
your explanation is pretty valid. I'd sure like to talk to someone that works at the studio tho.
here's a thought...even though Franks says the station won't be live until early september now, does that mean QBID won't be giving any $$ to Dish Network until then?
A PR saying that the check has been cashed by Dish is what I'm waiting for. I think we'll be back under .02 soon (if not lower) UNLESS something substantial happens.
I'll be looking for a place to get in again in a few weeks.
dave
that's bs. His photo and bio have been in the Columns section for a long time.
Who exactly is PAL?
Hey..I just looked under the Columns Section on Bloomber...Evans bio/articles aren't there.
d
my oh my. The BS may have finally caught up with Mr. Evans.
Protective Action League Plans Response to Bloomberg Financial Press for Defamatory Article Against eConnect
WASHINGTON, May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Protective Action League ("PAL")
said today that it is in contact with a major Washington, D.C. law firm
regarding a response on behalf of eConnect (OTC Bulletin Board: ECNC) against
David Evans and Bloomberg Financial Press for a potentially libelous article
that was published, then quickly retracted, then republished two further times
in a revised format yesterday. When the article first appeared, it contained
references that were untrue. After these were pointed out to a bureau chief
in New York, some of the references were changed; however, the article remains
fallacious in major respects.
Among these are incorrect references such as: that First American Payment
Systems (FAPS) is "retreating" from a "major order" from eConnect; that
"eConnect prepared ... the release;" and further implications that this was a
"joint" announcement by FAPS and eConnect. A PAL representative interviewed
Mr. Anthony Varvaro, President of FAPS, at length last night, and Mr. Varvaro
confirmed that his conversation with Bloomberg had been misrepresented at best
by Mr. Evans. The release had in fact been written by FAPS, although it was
vetted by eConnect to ensure accuracy before its release. Mr. Varvaro
maintained that he kept full editorial control over the release at all times
.
It is unclear why Evans' article strongly implies that FAPS news release
contained statements that its President would contradict the very next day.
There are numerous other misrepresentations in the article. A response is
being pursued at this point with assistance from PAL
.
PAL is a new organization that has been created to combat Internet bashers
and others that target public companies unfairly and sometimes anonymously.
PAL was contacted yesterday by Alliance Equities, a major shareholder in
eConnect, who expressed grave concern over the false and misleading statements
by Mr. Evans.
For information about joining PAL, call 202-783-7600. Public companies
only should respond.

maybe at .01..preferably at.005. I've got plenty at .008 now :>) Just don't like the dawdling around..
time to sit on the sidelines and wait to buy. Sorry for ranting :>)
dave
am I the only one who'd pissed that the air date has been postponed 4 months?!??!?!?!
hello old SI friends :>)
I've been in and out of ECNC for the past few months, and made some $. Am sitting now with only 500 shares, but I'm watching and waiting closely. Sure don't like the MM games going on with it while it's on the pinks. VERY hard to get a buy at a decent price.
I'll lurk a while here. I'm always available PM on SI..
