I understand what you are saying. But if our sales are that bad that we can't pay the bills that is not good. I agree with your plan of buying more. I think I have plenty over 6 million shares bought at various levels. But by the time I get paid and send a check it has to be cleared for 3 to 4 days by then I think I will have missed the window of opportunity. Good luck to you. I also think the brokers are a scam. It does not take 3 days to clear any check anymore. They are just using your money for that time. Oh well at least we don't have to trade through big brokers any more with high costs. Maybe we get an update today or maybe it will be next week. Also my concern is that a reverse split will come once they run out of shares to dilute with....not good.
I hope you guys or girls are both right. I think most of us are long here and all in the same boat. I am down quite a bit. So much I don't want to even calculate it because I invested for approval or disapproval and that question is still pending. Good luck to all.
I really don't get dilution at this point unless you are not confident in your product. Why not wait for approval the price goes up and you dilute at that time if needed. It would be more bang for your buck at that time. But who knows. This stock frustates me to no end.
I have a question and if anyone who is wise to stocks and ivesting can answer that would be great. Can't a company like CBAI if they have the money purchase their stock and then retire them (meaning retire those outstanding shares?) thus raising the PPS. It is a hypothetical question. I don't think CBAI has any free cash....but I do want to know if that is possible or illegal. Also when is the investors conference or annual shareholders meeting? I would like to give them a piece of my mind about the stupid reverse split.
I like the updates. But sometimes there is not a lot to update us on. I agree with colorormoney in that the price drop seems manipulated some.
The stock price will never stay up if people keep selling at these levels....oh well. Hopefully they will get burned. But you never know. I am not sure there will be an investor update with the conference call next week. If so I don't think it will be anything significant. They might talk about the diabetic ulcer study and things like that. Also remind us of the conference call next week and such.
I hope people who sold yesterday check in today and see that we are up 20% or so and kick themselves for selling yesterday. I hope there is a little run up until the investors update and we take off. But one can only dream. No one should be selling at these levels.
Hang in there. Hopefully we hear something soon. Try and stay positive. I feel your frustration..........Good news is with approval we should blow past all these levels. It really doesn't matter if it trades at .0068 or .015 Unless you are still buying then obviously get it at the .005 to .0075 level. If you are holding just wait it is either gonna go big or to zero. I don't think there will be an inbetween.
I have no faith in Matt, Paul or CBAI. I believed in the company but when you do a reverse split and deplete my investment 97% it is ridiculous. I fell like I was one of the only ones who voted against the reverse split. What does the board of directors say about all this?
Yes I was long with CBAI. It is not hard to figure out why the stock drops. No one trusts enough to invest in the company that will likely do another reverse split on them again. I used to have a few million shares and now diluted down I have a few thousand shares.
Just my 2 cents.
Hopefully that negative sentiment will all change with approval. I don't think BIEL the company has felt it would take this long to get a decision and approval from the FDA. I can totally understand both sides and all the frustration as well.
That made me laugh. Point well taken.
I totally agree with you. But also want to know if I can trust the man in charge so to speak. I am a long for sure and patience.... well it is kinda running out, but will hold until a decision is rendered and then some for sure. I don't get to involved in the ups and downs of trading under a penny or just above a penny as I am holding for long and would like to see this get back above 10 cents or higher.
Can anyone ask Andy if dilution is going on. I got the impression when I talked to him before that it was not. He made it sound like after approval (obvious if this happens....a big if) there probably would be some dilution to raise funds to support mass marketing in the U.S. When I talked to him he made me feel like the share price was ridiculously low and that dilution at these levels would not be worth it. But you never know.
As for some other posts..... I am not sure the time frame. I do feel that the FDA is slow. I kind of think it is like a bank with a loan or mortgage that they always want one more thing or one more piece of paper. I do not feel that BIEL is being deceptive....I think they are hopefull and expecting approval any day now. I feel that the press release was just that.....them stating that everything is in and they should expect a decision in the near future.
If you have any money. Open a Scottrade account and buy some more BIEL to get your average cost down. Don't liquidate like was recommended, because you might be caught in between in a cash position when the news comes. Try to buy some at these prices to bring your avg. price down. When and if approval comes then sell the stock in Zecco and go liquid at that time. Beware this stock may drop some more, but hopefully not. If you can hold back some of your cash to still buy if it drops. Try to get your average down to two cents. We should blow past that.
I know....believe me I have not sold and will not sell. I also think anyone selling at this level is crazy.
I think he put the conference out there far enough to give it some time. Probably will see a trickle down in the stock price until close to then. Stinks for us. But also I thought if they hear something sooner don't they only have like 4 business days to release that information from the FDA?
Some people are bailing and will try to get back in at a lower level. A true short, but in my opinion dangerous at this point with news hopefully coming soon....? days, weeks, months...nobody knows.
We could use some good news down 20% today. I know good things are coming, but the wait is killing me. LOL. I hope the people who are selling at these levels get burned and can't catch the train when it takes off.
The FDA is frustrating. No I am not computer Savy enough to post the link but the FDA
FDA approves XR version of chronic pain treatment.
The AP (8/27) reported, Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceuticals announced Friday that the FDA has approved an extended-release version of drug Nucynta (tapentadol), which treats "moderate-to-severe chronic pain in adults."
This was cut and pasted out of AMA journal briefing. Can't believe they are not hurrying up to approve BIEL product as a non-narcotic pain relief treatment option. They sure do approve pills.
Totally excited we finished green. I hope it stays and we go back up. But I am concerned about he downward trend that has started.
I think that just because they did not have to post the financial numbers, but they did anyway gives them credibility. They actually decided not to stay with the SEC because of costs is what has been reported. I used that negative news as a chance to buy more shares. Believe me most of us our down financially with this stock but not all are. I am glad they have not done anything like a reverse split (pretty much all of my other penny stocks have and it has killed them). I think there will be some dilution once approval happens but hopefully the demand for the stock will outweigh that and we will see a share increase about 10 cents to hopefully 20 to 30 cents. I hope I am wrong and it goes higher. In response to ChallengeMyKnowledge he feels there will be no change in sales with approval. I respectfully disagree and think there will be a huge increase in sales. I know doctors also are tired of writing Rx for pain pills and would love to try and be able to recommend a non-narcotic pain relief option that works. We are a society of instant gratification and buying it OTC is going to be a big deal. I have talked to Andy in the past and he has said the share price is pathetic. Which it is whether it is 0.012 or .01? Hopefully we hear something soon. Also I think the delays have been on the FDA side so when Andy has said a while ago we expect a decision the FDA then asks more questions.....kinda like when you try to get a loan for a house or a refinance the bank always wants more information and takes forever...LOL
Also one more thing for Challenge... when the FDA approves a device or med it hits all the news wires and medical publications along with news channels if it is substantial. By the way that stuff is all free!!!!! Yes, ChaChing$$$$$$$
Sorry so long....all my opinion of course. Disclosure Long BIEL.
I am thinking weeks. But you never know. Expectations usually lead to disappointment. If I had to venture a guess.....I would say somewhere between Sept. 15th and Sept. 30th. But who knows with the FDA this already seems to have taken way to long.
No worries. It will probably be down about 10% in the AM. Everyone in the stock for a while was not expecting good numbers for their sales. It is good we are making some money in sales, but obviously not enough. Maybe we put out the near FDA decision news to soften the blow of quarter numbers.....some will call that deceptive but not really. I hope we hear something in the next few weeks. I hope that people that sold today get burned big time. Color why are you not moderating anymore did they remove you for being to vocal. I read these but don't always post. Tomorrow could be brutal, just hang on. Color....I would like to hear what Andy says. Also what is his time frame of soon??? days, weeks, months????
Nobody knows what the time frame will be with the FDA on anything.
What happened to Savannah and Kidnova? I don't see any of there posts lately.
Not that I am aware of, but I don't follow it that closely. Whatever happens, happens. I think in my conversation with Andy Whelan he said that it would happen at some point. The take I got on it was that dilution at this price range would be pointless. I think...guessing of course. We are looking after approval when demand will be there to support the speculation of market expansion and increase U.S. demand for the product. All just my guess of course.
I don't think a reverse split is gonna happen. But I do feel there will be dilution almost certainly if approved or not approved. Either way they will need capital for distribution and marketing.
It is more than a non-event in my opinion. We sat for weeks and now moved 30% in two days? Is this have anything to do with Whelan and Europe?
Came to our board to check out why the bump in price the last few days.....but not seeing any real reasons. The board have any thoughts??????
Just getting caught up on the board. I think the deal with YESD fell through a long time ago.
Licking my wounds of a $25,000 loss yesterday or Tuesday.....whatever day it does not matter the result is still the same. Lost a lot of respect but still hopeful the FDA can pull this out. Unfortunately we have to have a 100% gain to recover just a 50% loss.
Good luck to all still holding long. Did anyone here from Andy. I don't make calls to the company but listen to those that do.
I sure hope there is a good explanation otherwise this is going to really suck. I still am hopeful that any devaluation in the stock price may hurt us, but also would hurt his family as they are invested as well. So I do not see moves that would ultimately cause the stock to drop as a positive move for his family.
Keeping my fingers crossed, but will still hold and see what is up......
I agree with Kidnova. They messed up by saying it was coming out on Friday and then the report not coming out on Friday. It is also showing in the stock price dropping today although it is holding up better than I thought. We need some good news for a change...
This is my 3rd and last post of the day as I am new here. So to clarify they don't have common shares that are filed with the SEC filings? I was under the impression that they owned shares like us and if the value of a share went up then the value of their investment also increased?? I also appreciate kidnova response as well, but look forward to hearing from other people as well.
I also wonder if anyone knows if Joe Noel still owns any shares that would be interesting to know. I don't have time to do all the due diligence that some people do but was just wondering. If he still has some then that shows that he really still believes in the company and their product vs just pumping it like was done in the past. I know BIEL severed ties with him.
Not sure how financials will be. I didn't see the buying that you are talking about as the price has gone down 10%. Usually if there is buying the price would appreciate and not depreciate. Only time will tell. I am hopeful they will be good. We need something to end this 10 month plus slide.
First Post.... but long time Biel investor. As someone who has a substantial position in BIEL I am happy to know that Andy and his family have stock and a huge stake in the company. I feel that we will not be diluted because it would hurt their position as well. They also have kept us well informed on the issues and how the company is doing. We all are anxious to hear from the FDA and no one knows what is taking so long. I hope no one sells today and I am suprised to see the price dip when there could be big news with the financials; however, I would not get my hopes up to much as we are all waiting for the FDA to make a decision about approving the products for sale OTC in the U.S.
and by the way yes I held through the rise and fall of the price to 0.12 and back down.
