FDA approves XR version of chronic pain treatment.
The AP (8/27) reported, Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceuticals announced Friday that the FDA has approved an extended-release version of drug Nucynta (tapentadol), which treats "moderate-to-severe chronic pain in adults."
This was cut and pasted out of AMA journal briefing. Can't believe they are not hurrying up to approve BIEL product as a non-narcotic pain relief treatment option. They sure do approve pills.
