Over 500k on the bid... Hmm
If the fact that we didn't gap up is telling, this could be a very nice day!
SAVW
I too will not let my holiday weekend joy be brought down by some annoyance. To the ignore button we go!
Go TYTN!
Absolutely AWESOME!
I find it interesting that all the people that want to play devil's advocate and claim they are doing it to help others with DD like to skip the facts that show the good in a company. In this case, they are skipping by A LOT. Great products, great CEO. Let's have some faith in the guy that keeps TYTN strong.
We saw that. You probably could have sold into the bounce and made a few more bucks...
nedreck, can you PM me an e-mail address? I can't PM but appreciate your insight and would like to ask you a couple questions off the board. Thanks, and go TYTN!
Some quick math on our recent shipping news.
/** Repost from earlier **/
The savings alone from unloading in Kalama vs. Seattle is great (not to mention that the tractors can be shipped with certain implements already installed).
Doing some quick research, I have seen tractors being shipped for anything between $0.50 to $1.50 per mile. Seattle to Kalama is about 140 miles, so if we use a conservative approach and use $0.50/mile, we are saving $70 per tractor in shipping. For every 2,000 tractors shipped, TYTN saves $140,000!
This is obviously quick math (and I do not have information regarding what TYTN actually paid in shipping rates from Seattle to Kalama), but not a bad way to view the savings.
Just trying to do some quick math on our recent shipping news.

I agree, dominik. It feels like the vibe of the board always reflects the stock direction. We have a lot of great things to discuss here, so why not? I don't have much going on at work tomorrow, so I'll be here providing whatever I can.
Was asked to repost this, and agree that it might be something we shouldn't overlook...
I know we have discussed that 20-25% advantage vs. competitors doesn't necessarily mean a 20-25% savings anywhere, but we also have to realize that he is giving us a calculated number so I'm assuming it isn't just made up...
-------
Mark mentions a 20-25% advantage vs competitors with the new shipping deal, but has anyone calculated the potential savings? I don't know enough about shipping costs (especially for tractors), but if this causes shipping costs to go down 20-25%, we could be talking about serious savings. Anytime you can decrease overhead, you allow yourself to either increase profits or decrease prices. This only adds to the competitive advantage.
I'm 100% behind TYTN, so I am definitely biased, but I think this PR is one of those stepping stones that we won't quite realize the importance of until we see the actual numbers in a quarterly. Never discount the PRs we receive. Mark knows what he is doing.
It just seems like a lot from that post goes against what we have heard from Mark in the past. I don't want to doubt anyone, but I also don't want to be played.
I agree that we need to see more than just quotes. My thought is that there HAS to be some mention of what the updated SS plan entails, and it will happen soon.
Either way, we cannot overlook this PR!
I think the fact that Mark is trying to make this a fully reporting company spoils us a bit. Many stocks at this level provide nothing but forward looking PRs with little actual information. We get actual numbers along with a look inside the thought process of the company. I know we will get more PRs and good news along the way, but wait until the next quarterly when TYTN explains how much we ACTUALLY saved/benefitted from this deal!
What is the iHub equivalent of a ReTweet?? Awesome!
Go TYTN!

I actually do a bit of freelance web development and would like to weigh in on this discussion...
Though I agree the sites are dated and could use some help/"professionalism", it is important to remember the purpose of the website. Websites need to serve to the needs of the target audience. I would argue that the Tytan website's target audience is NOT potential buyers, but its investors. If I were to buy a tractor, I would focus very little on what is said/seen on the company's website, and more on word-of-mouth/reviews. Every company should tout their products, but if you want to stand out, you need to stand out in the mind of satisfied customers. When a potential buyer goes to buy a tractor, he/she is looking for the best tractor to get the job done, not the one with the best website.
Investors are going to dig into the website to find as much DD as they can. It may not be pretty, but the information we want is there.
Anyone can build a quality website, but without the support of quality products (which TYTN has), it holds no water.
... though when TYTN explodes and Mark has some excess cash, he should definitely hire a web admin...
Nice buy there, giving us 30 x 32! Some good support it seems at 30 as well (almost 3 mil).
Slow and steady wins the race.
TYTN
Good to see that GREEN close from TYTN.
We'll see what happens, but it seems like we dumped a lot of weak hands the other day, and the people trying to bash TYTN right now probably have a small/no position, which is much less of a concern for the longs. They just want to get in... So why not put some money on the ask and ride the train with all of us?
I'm hoping this has something to do with what rylawi was talking about earlier today. Keep the faith in Mark. He believes in TYTN more than anyone.
Now I am confused. I trust tractormech, but I also trust some of the people that said they spoke with TYTN today and the SS hasn't changed. We really need a PR.
I find it funny that we have a few new posters on the board whose timing perfectly coincides with a strange issue regarding A/S. Yes, it could be pure coincidence, or they might have randomly done some obscure DD on a company they weren't too worried about a day ago, but something seems strange...
Funny thing about people who try and cheat the system... It usually means they aren't smart enough to win the right way. And their lack of intelligence often catches up to them...
TYTN!
I'd prefer not to speculate that some indecent person is responsible for the A/S mishap, but It's just sad to see something like this happen. From all accounts, Mark Leonard is a credible CEO that is widely respected throughout the world. For someone to stoop to this level for the benefit of a few, while potentially hurting the CEO and the people that actually believe in this company, is truly disgusting.
That being said, the longs in this stock know that something as juvenile as this won't hold a strong company like TYTN down for long, if at all. I'd love to see a nice morning rally (maybe off of some news?) to prove the strength.
Thanks, rylawi. I didn't mean to reply to your post, but I appreciate the insight you provided on the potential Chinese listing.
Not to beat a dead horse, but if you open the filing up, you will notice that you can select the word 'Six' and the # 6 in the SS, but no other numbers. These are clearly edited after Mark Leonard signed the documents.
Would love to see TYTN keep going like this today. Only 110K left on 35!
Well someone wants this baby to run! Now 9 Mil on 32! Hopefully the bulls keep pushing all day! Go TYTN
WOW! 10 Million sitting at the bid of 31.
I'll take them for you, thank you.
I was extremely happy to take some of those 28s. Had an order in from the last dip and figured I'd be out of luck. Will be nice to see a green close. Go TYTN!
I was away from a computer for the last few days celebrating my youngest sister's HS Graduation and never got to check on TYTN Friday. What a pleasant sight! Very excited to see where next week takes us!
That's great news! Nothing to end speculation than actual copies of supporting documents! You really have to hand it to Mark. I think most longs had no doubt about this issue, but it is great that he is going out of his way to send that over.
Keep strong, TYTN!
Very low volume. Seems like people are still trying to wake up from their 3 day weekend.
...and back to 43s! That didn't take too long. Keep on riding, TYTN!
Great post, Ssb. I have been burned in the penny world before by not doing my DD and that completely changed with TYTN. I actually looked at what was on the board, the website, etc, and got in early. When you see a company that presents facts and real #s, it makes it a lot easier to realize where they will be down the road.
The bottom line is investors should be influenced by TYTN and how it operates, not by those of us posting on this board. Do the DD and you will learn very quickly that you have found something worth INVESTING in.
My funds have cleared and I'm ready to pick some more up early tomorrow!
I can't help myself. Every 5 minutes I find myself back on the TYTN board reading the buzz. Keep it going!
Today should definitely be looked on as positive. TYTN has what looks like a new base in the 30s, so those looking to get more need to be prepared to pay AT LEAST that much. I'm disappointed in myself today; thought I had funds clearing (turns out it is tomorrow). It may not be much, but I'm ready to add some more and watch this thing continue toward pennies!
I've never seen so many things fall into place for a company at once! A true testament to Mark and his dedication to TYTN.
The buzz is everywhere!
I love how the confidence in TYTN continues day after day after day...
Let's keep this running to where it rightfully should be! I was able to pick up a few more this morning and have some funds clearing tomorrow.
Mark is getting it done in China right now, let's get it done over here!
Slapped the ask on the dip, let's keep TYTN rolling! I want to see 004 at least EOD.
I think we all have to agree that when The Bangles wrote 'Manic Monday', they had no idea about TYTN! This is the first time I've been excited for a weekend to end in a long time.
If we get to .10, I'm finding a TYTN dealer and getting myself a Mini (and I don't even have land!).
