Though I agree the sites are dated and could use some help/"professionalism", it is important to remember the purpose of the website. Websites need to serve to the needs of the target audience. I would argue that the Tytan website's target audience is NOT potential buyers, but its investors. If I were to buy a tractor, I would focus very little on what is said/seen on the company's website, and more on word-of-mouth/reviews. Every company should tout their products, but if you want to stand out, you need to stand out in the mind of satisfied customers. When a potential buyer goes to buy a tractor, he/she is looking for the best tractor to get the job done, not the one with the best website.
Investors are going to dig into the website to find as much DD as they can. It may not be pretty, but the information we want is there.
Anyone can build a quality website, but without the support of quality products (which TYTN has), it holds no water.
... though when TYTN explodes and Mark has some excess cash, he should definitely hire a web admin...
