I hope you're right. I think these A shares are holding the share price from gaining in upward traction.

Chinese Firm Plans $100 million Aquaculture Project in Cambodia
30 January 2017
CAMBODIA - A Chinese firm and its local partner have floated a proposal for a $100 million aquaculture project in Cambodia that would include fish farms, a feed mill and a fish processing plant.
Representatives of China Ocean Fishing Holding Ltd and local holding company Khmer Holding Group Co Ltd held a presentation for Ministry of Agriculture officials to present their plans for the commercial aquaculture project, reports The Phnom Penh Post.
Kaing Kim, deputy director of the ministry’s Fisheries Administration, said that a proposed initial investment of $30 million would be used to develop a 200-hectare fish farming operation at a location yet to be decided.
An additional $70 million would be sunk into developing a feed mill and fish processing factory on the site, with production of frozen seafood and fish filets to be exported to China.
“The company saw the high potential for investment in aquaculture in Cambodia, and came to deliver their presentation and highlight their achievements in China,” Kim said.
“Based on their presentation, they are interested in investing in both freshwater and saltwater fish farming. We are not sure yet whether they have their own land, or are looking for the ministry to provide it.”
China Ocean Fishing, a Hong Kong-listed supply management firm, announced last month that its subsidiary, Shenzhen Jinyutang Fishery Company Ltd, would establish a joint venture in Cambodia with Khmer Holding Group.
According to a filing, Jinyutang would take an 80 per cent stake in the joint venture, injecting $8 million “for the purpose of investing in fishing activities in Cambodian coastal areas, aquatic process, sale of fishing products, cultivation in aquaculture and import and export trading”.

"more Chinese cooking the books?" I think "stir-frying" the books would be more appropriate.
RD, why the low volume today? Does inauguration have anything to do with it. SIAF is stuck in the mud no f..ng action.

Why did I take to Joe's advice and sell-out at $3.45 last week???
Recent Increasing in A/S + History of Dilution + No Recent Guidance + No Recent Positive Press Release (last 30 days) = Sell-Off
A simple mathematical equation !
Hey Empty, I know its not required but nevertheless isn't customary to have management comment on large movements in stock price?
China's most urgent problem: WATER SUPPLY
Water Shortage (mostly in the north) and Polluted Water (lack of clean water)
RD, what can we expect from HERB in 2017. This company is a real sleeper. No news, no guidance and a lot of nothing.

Forbes: World's Best Stocks Are Chinese, But You Can't Buy Them In China
Hey Empty and RD, I don't understand why Solomon or any other director wouldn't want the MF to be build-out as soon as possible. Partner with a larger shrimp company like the one mentioned in the article (see below) who probably has the resources to do it and get it done within the next 3 to 4 years. This 20-year time frame to build it out is just too long. Neither Solomon nor most of the BOD or management will be around to see its completion. Obviously SIAF would have to give up some of its interest but if the deal is structured properly it could be a big win for all parties involved.

Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products, China’s largest shrimp company, reported total Chinese shrimp imports amounted to 300,000t in 2015. Guolian published this figure in a company filing at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange earlier in 2016.
Hey RD, are you concern that the recent increase in the Dollar following the elections will hurt your Chinese holdings in the short term?
Yes, its seems to be good news in that it confirms the strong demand for shrimp in china but on the downside the article seems to imply that illegal imports are still a big problem and its pretty difficult to stop it.
Nice post Red, I hadn't notice it but you're right volume is picking up. Looks like hiring Kcsa maybe starting to pay off. The announcement of the loan commitment is a nice feather in the hat. Just wondering when the appraisal will be completed and formal announcement of the bank.
Also I have feeling it's not a Chinese state bank. Maybe one of the larger banks in Singapore, Taiwan or Thailand that's done a lot of loans in aquaculture.
"May the FORCE be with YOU" or maybe not.
It has taken them over 4 years since they acquired the MF land and to complete just 2 buildings, which represents maybe less than 5% of the total number of buildings left to complete. We will all be dead and gone once they complete the entire project if this is the pace we can expect.
After being out of this stock for over 6 months I'm looking possibly to get back in. I just want to know the status of the trials - in your opinion what has been the overall response. I'm sure you believe in the product. BTW, does Ms. Australia continue to post in here?
I wonder if they've ever considered partnering with a larger company that has a ton of cash to build-out the entire MF at once. It would probably take about 3 years but better that way than this god awful slow-mo approach.
RD, looking at the aerial view of the Mega Farm (see Sticky of 12/14) I see 2 completed buildings. If and when the $38M loan is finally approved how many more buildings can we expect them to build with this loan?
Also, I couldn't remember the maximum percentage SIAF can acquire in the MF project. Wasn't it like 70%. And in your best estimates what percentage equity interest, if any, does SIAF have in the project.
Thanks and happy holidays
