A temporary pole could have been in place even if was an actual service pole IMO the electrical inspector would only be concerned about proper conduit runs, wire sizes and grounding.

"The investigation into what caused an explosion at a eastern Montana oil recycling facility late last year won’t be complete until June, according to an OSHA official.

The blast on Dec. 29 set off a fire that burned for about a week at a Custom Carbon Processing oil treatment site just outside Wibaux, Mont., near the Montana-North Dakota border.

“We’re actively working the case,” Billings-area OSHA director Jeff Funke said Thursday. “Our statute of limitations to investigate is six months. More than likely, we’re looking at June before I will be able to issue my findings in this case.”

The fire destroyed a structure and the tanker of a semi. Three CCP employees were injured during the blast, but have since been treated and released, Funke said. Calls to Green Oasis Environmental Inc., the parent company of CCP, by The Press were not immediately returned Thursday.

“Basically, this incident happened during an oil recovery process, which is when they take slop oil and make it into pipeline grade oil,” Funke said. “They were at a salt water disposal well. I know that they are not rebuilding on the site.”Funke said the Environmental Protection Agency and the Montana Department of Transportation are also involved in investigating the incident. A Wibaux County spokesperson said after the blast that it happened while the tanker truck’s operator was pumping the trailer’s contents into the structure that was eventually demolished.

“We have ideas of what cause this, but those won’t be released until the report comes out,” Funke said. “We don’t release anything publicly or to the press without the company first learning of the results of the investigation.”

it really has little to do with yates but you an get there from yates. traveling east you need to turn right on custards trail then left on black diamond. another right on what seems to be a road with no name (just thought of an old america song!!) then turn right into ccp. I found it by following black diamond east to the North Dakota borderand comeing back 3 sections. compare pictures with the one you posted and you got it.

The place I'm refering to is the well in montana. The place in wyoming best I can tell is what I believe is the old Jims water service site which I have not been able to physically tie to ccp. I believe they did work there during the "development" stage. maybe still who knows.

Thats a buisness permit not an environmental one.I believe that that permit allows you to sell your wares in WY.As I understand it, Environmental Permits allow for the operation of the equipment needed to process oil. You can't sell nothing if your not permitted to operate. Call the epa they can explain the need for related permits needed to operate that type of facility,discharge waste etc. If you call a local branch they can give you info on certain facilities. As far as me calling anyone, I've done all the research I'm going to do.

some info on just one type of permit needed to run such a facility.permits are site specific and one permit can not cover multiple sites unless they are in a specific area.I don't believe crossing state lines is in the same specific area.

Thes guys are experts at hiding their money. Instead of forgiving the fines "'cause they can't pay" the authorities need to research were every penny went in the time period concerned, and, IMO if needed follow them every step of the rest of there life until said moneys are recovered. would you consider the existance of operating permits? And jeeze why after 12 years or so would you ever hold on to those old shares? My biggest question was and maybe still is is...how did someone buy maybe a sixth of the company shares and then procede to do all the things done with out a stockholder vote. I wonder how many of the other stock promoters’ that were paid with free trading shares sold their stocks into their promotions. It would be nice if it became illegal to give free trading shares as payment for a promotion. Perhaps that would make the people accepting stocks for their time a little more vigilant in whom they promote.
