When is the last time anyone on here had an actual conversation with ML?
Link one of those CL ads on here. Also, since you're a private figure, you only need to show negligence not malice with intent if you're going to sue for defamation. Either way, it sounds malicious and you shouldn't have a problem meeting the BOP
Just a little technical correction before things start to happen here. There's no reason they would get an IR team for 6 months if they weren't looking to take advantage of the costs. Things may happen next week or next month. Not sure but things are going to happen very soon IMO
GLTU
Only thing that matters is the price offered. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago with WaMu preferreds. It was a total low ball offer.
Edit: Many said at the time that it's a common thing to do for insiders so they can drum up attention in the stock then sell into it.
This stock is trading like a couple of BK stocks that I've followed over the years that were all based on litigation news and court updates. Those shareholders that made the most always sold on the runs then bought back in a couple weeks later after the correction. Seems like VRNG will trade the same way
Nov $2.50 calls are down to $1.25. Thinking that between $1 and $1.25 its a good lotto ticket to hold for 6 or 7 months.
They wouldn't hire a new IR firm for 6 months if they didn't have big plans to utilize them. Another summer promo in the cards???
That's my point. Who's "they"? Wall St. MM's having the inside. I still think that the stop losses were hit in the first place because of selling pressure coming from someone that knows something...
What about exercising the warrants?
This is why Wall Street pisses me off. Insiders know something and someone makes a move leaving the little guy to drown. I didn't get in this yet and will be only playing the options but this kind of move doesn't pass the smell test.
Is it possible that some of those warrants got exercised and now they're dumping them?
Is Cuban dumping shares? Anyone know what's going on? I knew this would go a little lower but damn.
Agree, it's not that great. But they're not active on Twitter and obviously not well known. It's certainly better than 25 FB followers. Also, seems to be more of a Canadian company than U.S. I couldn't find their Canadian arm on Twitter--if they exist.
Bottom line is they're a real company with a real product, Robinson and his felony is gone, and so are his inabilities to do something with BDS after working on it for more than 6 months.
Kool Telecom is not public. They're privately held. Hence the reason to do a R/M. Also, the documents reference them as "Kool" as a way to reference the company without having to write the whole thing out. Just how it's done in the legal world.
They have a 'B' rating in Canada. We all know Americans love to complain. Lets be honest with ourselves :O

I'm checking the USPTO as we speak but not finding anything. My guess is that any patents would be filed in Canada. I'll let you know if I find anything
Earlier you said you were going to have your patent attorney look at this. What patents has he/she or you found that kooltel own or license?
IMO, there could be huuuuge money involved in this if they own digital/internet phone patents. They've been around long enough that it could be possible that many other companies have come around and infringed on their property.
I love patent troll companies! LOL. But seriously, technology patents are hot right now and will continue to be for the foreseeable future
I know! I saw that RT. I was hoping that Kooltel owned it but they probably don't. Actually looks like it would be competition for them so I'm definitely curious as to why they would RT that. Maybe a JV in the works??? Would be hilarious b/c investors would get their FB app after all.
Over 750 Twitter followers--for the American division. I'm guessing Adam Clark runs the US office.

If we hold .0045 on Monday, bulls are golden IMO. I'm not going to sell a share until I have a chance to see the 10-k. Feels like a lot of peeps are open to the new LOI b/c of the longevity of the business and the fact there's an acutal revenue model but some may still try to swing trade this causing a big dip at the open b/c of the obvious disappointment. GLTA
There's definitely 2 sides to the coin with it.
Pros: Real company, Jeff Robinson is gone, and a better director replaced him.
Cons: LOI terminated after deadline, shareholders don't like change, lack of available info about Kooltel, and still no 10-k (edited)
IMO, they didn't release the 10-k because they wanted to 8-k the change first. I think the 10-k will have more info about Kooltel and the company's plans of doing the merger. I also believe that they filed the 10-k extension b/c that's when ASYI was not liking how things were going. Thus they needed some extra time to go with plan B. I think that ASYI had been in contact with Kooltel before the LOI with Birthday Slam occurred, so it wasn't too difficult to get them to come on board in such a short period of time.
Thus, we should get the 10-k now VERY soon detailing these speculations or whatever else occurred. I don't think ASYI will issue a PR about Kooltel b/c they didn't issue a PR about BDS, just filed 8-k's.

I know that gaps don't always need to be filled. Not arguing there. Just opining that the stock may cool off for a bit before heating up again.
PS AAPL is just a couple points away from closing the 570 and 550 gaps that everyone told me wouldn't ever get filled and will probably fill the 425 gap if crappy news comes out.
Skype also has an "F" w/the BBB. Funny how nobody mentioned Kool has a "B" rating for its Toronto office
http://sanjose.bbb.org/business-reviews/Internet---Products-and-Services/Skype-in-San-Jose-CA-232993
I'm talking about the $1 gap on April 16th b/t $3 and $4 that hasn't filled. Also, there's a gap around $1.75 that occurred on April 2.
I agree the Motley Fool isn't the best DD out there. The volatility premium on the Nov $2.50 call is what tells me to be cautious short term.
I don't really think the $1.75 gap will fill in the next couple of months unless Cuban dumps his shares, the lawsuit gets tossed, fails at the Markman hearing, etc.
Huge difference between criminal and civil lawsuit. Robinson's issues with the OSC were criminal (insider trading) where as Beatty named as a Defendant in a class action is a civil suit that the police/gov't authorities won't get involved in
In my securities law class, I remember there being several exceptions for funding based on if people had a felony/criminal history. The fact that Kool is based out of Toronto tells me that Robinson's history would have impeded the company going forward.
When will the gap fill? Nov options tell me based on the volatility and 25 cent premium on the 2.50's that this may go down (I think it will) before going back up
The Fool did a piece on the recent move also: http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2012/04/20/this-weeks-5-dumbest-stock-moves.aspx
First time I've ever seen someone link an article written by a terrorist organization
Think of it as an acquisition. Later on, it's definitely possible that they'll just change the ticker name of ASYI to KOOLT (or whatever ticker is available--KOOL is taken).
IMO, this is a much better things for shareholders. I had no plans to hold this thing after the R/M b/c BDS website, business model, and FB app seriously were POS's.
It's pretty rare to find an actual business on the pinks that has 2 real offices instead of some crappy mailbox or PO Box
We will own Kool 100% outright. No questions asked. No minority shareholder(s) to botch things up. It's the best way to do an acquisition IMO
Yes. IMO, this is the best part:
The difference is these guys are in the business to make money.
Baby Skype back-door IPO!?!?!
LOL. But seriously, Skype was bought out for $8.5B by Microsoft. This company is a real company with real people, infrastructure, and revenues.
Sorry but this company looks way more legit than BDS. To be honest, BDS was all facebook hype (that was pure, unadulterated, BS) about a fb app that was supposed to be upgraded 3 weeks ago according to the website that hardly contained any info. To this day, I still never figured out how BDS worked.
Kooltel on the other hand, actually has 2 offices, customer service reps that answer, and a legit business model. Oh and anyone remember Skype getting bought out for $8.5 BILLION by Microsoft???

Yes, many news letters have mentioned ASYI but they weren't being compensated by a 3rd party to do so. But the pumps and dumps website that you linked had microcaprunners as the promo outfit for ASYI.
I don't think this is being promoted as dozens of other posters for the past 4 weeks have asked the same question while nobody found a definitive answer.
So, if microcaprunners is promoting ASYI, I'd like to know what they're being compensated to do so. Otherwise, my gut tells me they just alerted it like the dozens of other newsletters have over the past 4 weeks and pumps and dumps is wrong.
GLTU
Did you find their ASYI promo? I didn't. I'd be curious to see how much they got compensated, if any, and by who if it's listed
Fact is, some crappy newsletter outfit will tout ASYI based on the ihub popularity (and probably many other chat boards) and recent price action. They just might not be compensated for it. This way they can get a couple 'winners' to boost their credibility so they can charge more for a PnD
