anyone know if the factory is still selling sponges to stores?
Patch or anyone who wants to answer:
Assuming that spng is guilty of half of what the sec or others are saying spng is guilty of and that they are grossing half of what they(spng) they say they are making, how do u think the future will look like in terms of paying off its debts of varous sorts
IMO wouldn't all those owed money want to allow spng to continue making money to pay what it owes which could be 10's or 100's of millions vs sell its assets(a factory worth 5 million) and a bunch of sponges to pay off debts.
Also, couldnt spng just declare bankruptcy as a way out of alot of debts?
thanks to all
SJ,has anyone figured out how spng profits from taikone pacific?

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., January 20, 2009 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, and Prism Software, a leading provider of advanced electronic document solutions, today announced the integration of Prism's DocRecord and DocSystem applications with Canon's advanced MEAP enabled imageRUNNER line of multifunction printers (MFPs).
Since pioneering the embedded MFP software development platform with the launch of MEAP (Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform) in 2003, Canon has been working with leading third-party software vendors, customers and dealers to develop custom MEAP based applications that simplify the interaction between users and Canon's devices, while tying tightly into a user's specific workflow. The new MEAP version of Prism's DocRecord, an electronic document management application for mid-sized organizations, will allow users to automatically batch-scan and manually-scan documents directly to DocRecord folders along with corresponding indexing information. Key features of DocRecord's and DocSystem's integration with Canon MEAP enabled imageRUNNER MFPs include:
DocRecord
Reduce effort and time by scanning documents directly into DocRecord from the Canon MEAP-enabled imageRUNNER;
Prompt the user for necessary document metadata, including document name, index values, and document type classification;
Automated routing and indexing of single and bulk-scanned documents, utilizing both zonal and full page OCR to recognize text and barcodes; and

DocSystem
Scan documents into the DocSystem workflow process of choice directly from the Canon MEAP-enabled imageRUNNER MFP;

DD on PSWR
What I have found out so far about Prism Software Corporation. The good and the bad.
(1) So I'm curious, but this last PR looks alot like this one released a couple years ago. Something to definetly take note of. Not sure if the new PR really builds on the old one or not, but much of this information was already released.
http://www.oceusa.com/main/article_details.jsp?FOLDER<>folder_id=2534374302070169&CONTENT<>cnt_id=10134198673379215
(2) Reading through the CEO's bio I can now see where the OCE/Canon connection might come from.
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
David Ayres
David is CEO of Prism Software based in Irvine, California and has been with the company for over 7 years. Before joining Prism David was CEO for 4 years of a mid-size company in NJ providing OEM-branded consumables and software to the SOHO printer market. Prior, David was with the Canon Computer Systems division of Canon USA. Prior to that he held executive and management positions at Mitsubishi and companies in the instrumentation and software markets.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(3) In addition here are the deals or mentions of Prism Software Corp. in the last couple of years:
http://www.usa.canon.com/templatedata/pressrelease/20090120_prisim_software.html
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prModelDetail?storeId=11301&catalogId=13251&itemId=227169&modelNo=Content02212008115645882&surfModel=Content02212008115645882
http://www.kocevar.org/?p=41
(4) What's a little strange is this tid-bit I've found. There was already interest from a Nasdaq company, Peerless Systems (NASDAQ: PRLS) in buying Prism Software Assets, but the deal fell through. On one hand a Nasdaq company having already expressed interest in Prism Software Assets certainly bodes well for future interest. On the other, I would want to know why the deal fell through, Peerless may have seen something they didn't like. That would be important to find out.
http://news.dir.la/2008/02/27/peerless-systems-to-buy-prism-software-assets/
http://www.forbes.com/feeds/afx/2008/05/30/afx5063632.html
Other than that, very few updates I can find so far, besides the latest PR released.
I am torn with PSWR, there is much to like here. The fact they have and are working with OCE, Canon, Konica Minolta and Panasonic. The fact that they were almost bought out by PRLS. And that the PR was not released by them, but by OCE. That makes me think this has long potential and is not a pump.
But there are a few things that concern me. The similarity of that PR with the one on the OCE website from over 2 years ago. The reason for the PRLS deal falling through and the lack of information from company for over five years.
Either way, PSWR definetly is on my radar now. Will be watching for any future developments.
**Of course please do your own DD and if you see a mistake in mine please let me know. Thanks.

WHERE'S THE MONEY FROM 2 YRS AGO AND LAST YEAR...THIS SMALL COMP HAS BEEN DEALING WITH 2 OF THE BIGGEST FOR 1-2 YEARS..
like Cucpa said this company posted the same info 1-2 years ago...where's the money? prism grossed 1.2 million last year
canon and oce announced deals over a year ago....where the money?
oce and canon is 12 month old news...why is this any different? where's the money from last year? feels like a pump to me without current info.
so all these things being said about oce and canon where already posted a year or two ago....so what to get excited about?....how do we know prism will be earning any better than last years gross of 1.2 million....
Isn't this the lastest info on shares? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2617/3953754700_604bbc445c_o.png
the facts of how much spng is doing might take a long time...hopefully pike knows those facts and thats why they are interested in owning alot of shares...at last count there where 47000 stores and internet sites as well....the childrens stuff as well as the other type of sponges are still catching on....i think childrens stuff will sell much better than car stuff....the hope for stock holders to get back some loses and or to make some profits is that this is a good business to be in..
there's probably a way for the next buyer to buy the company without getting hit with any of the liabilities or where the next owners can pay it back over time.....the most important thing is that the sponge business is a profitable business which i think it is....

sponge long board at google groups.com: Here is my 2 cents on this matter take it for no more then my opinion.
I believe that when this whole thing started years ago it was to make
some money selling stock, like so many pump and dumps. Their is really
no way to argue that some thing was done wrong by MM but as for what
we do not know yet. How bad who knows. Now this is what I believe was
the problem. They stumbled upon a really good product that they could
sell. They needed cash to keep up with demand and figured all their PR
would increase the value of the stock. The problem was that they could
not get value out of the stock because of the shorts and all the other
crap that happen to it. Including but not limited to stuff they may
have done.
I believe they figured at sometime when the company was making
money and their stock value had increased they could make all the
little problems go away. The problem was all the attention that was
put on them and all the people who tried to ruin them. That put them
under the microscope. I mean the accountants could of fudged some
numbers and this would of just never headed down this road . This all
can still happen but the faith in MM has some serious concerns now.
It would seem their are still issues with the lawsuits and what will
happen with them. Can a new board be put in place to run the company
and what affect will this have on SPNG. Will the suit be against the
company or MM or both? It is incorporated so I am not clear on that
law. Is their a buyer out there and how much would a company pay for
the product and Patent? The company name may be linked to big problems
or it may be swept away. Who knows for sure it is all a guess.
People are saying sell. My opinion on the this is why now sell if
you have held this long. Are we even able to sell? Will someone buy
the shares. Who knows for sure where it is heading but I will hold and
see. Do what is best for you. I can only hope that someone can fix
it. It is going to be interesting for sure. We need facts and we need
them fast no more fluff or crap. Sales figures that are real and all
the proper forms filed.
Then their is Pike. Why? I can only guess and hope that he saw the
light at the end of the tunnel and invested for reasons we will see in
the NEAR future. The fact that he made it 20.1% has to mean something
it can not just be a coincidence that it is just a fraction over the
percentage to have a vote. Was he fooled were we all fooled.
Finally from my eyes I was 99% sure this was legit. I just see the
product all over the place, the advertising the deals with Marvel
Viacom Getfugu and others. The purchase of Dicon and on and on. I just
keep going back to the same question. Why do all this to scam a penny
stock. I am sure they could of made money with a pump and dump. But
the product is a great one, it works it sells it would make them more
money then they would ever need. So now I am down a little 98% sure
but it is all just my opinion.
I would love to here some other's thoughts. Time for good
conversations on this stock and sharing info again. The other board
has been taken over by the idiots. They think it is over. We have been
knocked down twice got up are still standing again. I hear the bell
round 10 of 15 we are hurt but we still have a chance to win and win
big. Hell Buster Douglas beat Mike Tyson. Just need things to happen
and happen fast. Your Thoughts.
if the sponge business along with the dicon business are doing ok and growing and doing even 1/3 of what they say they are doing then those hundreds of millions of share that the main guys there own can be used to pay back the scammed....
pan...is it possible the 3 main guys will have to sell their shares as a way to pay back stockholders if the class action suits win back some money vs something that puts the whole corp out of business...
thanks Old Timer...
what does the charge 15b mean to you when u have time....thanks
Jay, what does that mean in laymans terms? is the sec saying the books are insufficient to show where the money is coming from and going to? can it be they never showed their books yet to the sec?
