publically, but privately I've accumulated 8k this week at 1.31 Status is day to day right now, in the final stages of nailing down the details of the agreement. Lots of money is involved, over 30M, and their are 5 different parties involved in the negotiations, so lots of lawyers double checking. I know everthing is done, Boeckler is just running a fine comb through the deal, he is just about there, you should see lots of volume kick in once the deal is done, but I know of major folks who are going to support at 1.25, so I am just a little bit above them:)
Two weeks at the most now. They don't have any deadlines, just their next 10Q which is due by Nov 15th, and they won't be late this time. The 8k will come when they are done with the deal, should pop us up to $5 pretty easy I think.
imo
You have it in at 1 5/16ths? Looks like Herzog is there, then up to 1 3/8ths.
imo
.07/.14 looks like they are not going to let us get any more cheap shares.
imo
Still waiting, cause it could go either way right here... but not in this current mkt is it worth betting up yet.
imo
Claire, PYSU-- I had flipped it into SHPS when they were about equally priced. I have continued vollowing them, they send me their filings, I think they have an excellent future, and would like to accumulate under .75 at some time in the near future, but it's a LT hold when you buy that stock, it's fundamentally good, but not exciting, so it's not going to sail over night.

Teen stock trader kept some profits
Oct. 20, 2000 / CEDAR GROVE, N.J. (AP) -- The teen-age trader who paid $285,000 to settle stock manipulation charges didn't come away empty handed: He kept about a half-million dollars in profits.
The Securities and Exchange Commission last month brought civil fraud charges against Jonathan G. Lebed, claiming he made his money through a "pump and dump" scheme. Lebed, now 16, bought large blocks of nine low-priced stocks, hyped them on Internet financial message boards and then -- within 24 hours -- sold his shares after the price rose. He used this method twice with two stocks.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The trades were made between Aug. 23, 1999 and Feb. 4, 2000.
Lebed agreed to pay back $285,000 without admitting or denying the allegations to settle SEC charges related to 11 trades.
But, according to "60 Minutes," he actually made about $800,000 from 16 trades the SEC did not charge.
Lebed spent some of the profits on a $42,000 Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicle for his family, his mother said.
SEC regulators told The Wall Street Journal that they alleged wrongdoing in the cases they felt they had abundant evidence.
"We charged violations with clear instances of fraud," SEC enforcement chief Richard Walker said.
Ledbed's attorney, Kevin Marino, said the SEC had wanted to recover his client's total earnings but they settled on what he called the "somewhat arbitrary" figure.
In an interview with "60 Minutes," Lebed said he sees nothing wrong with what he did.
"I wasn't posting any kind of false information. I didn't make up any facts or do anything like that," Lebed said on the show to air Sunday.
SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt said Lebed made more than 200 postings on individual securities. "And that represents, in my view, a wholesale effort at deceiving many investors," Levitt said.
Marino said most of the Internet postings included a disclaimer, "Be sure to take the time to do your research."
The SEC found that Lebed sent e-mail messages under fictitious names. One claimed a company trading at $2 per share would be trading at more than $20 per share "very soon." Other postings claimed a stock would be the "next stock to gain 1,000 percent."
"Well, I'm not aware of one investor that exists that I cheated," said Ledbed, a junior at Cedar Grove High School. "And I don't think the SEC is aware of one investor that exists that I cheated."
Marino, who has declined to make the boy available for an interview with The Associated Press, did not return a message left Thursday, when "60 Minutes" released a transcript of the segment.
Lebed has said he was fascinated by finance since he was 11. In eighth grade, he and two friends were among the finalists in CNBC's stock-picking contest. Lebed eventually traded in custodial accounts in his father's name at two brokers, the SEC said.
On the CBS show, Marino admitted "there was some manipulation," but argued there is little difference "between what he did and what is done every single day of the week on Wall Street. That is, he touted various stocks. And he sold them, after the prices went up."

OK Chef, now you are added to the directors, there is an email list, for sending out emails to the TGHI subscribers, and you can manage the board as well. They don't have it so that you can edit the ibox yet, but I've requested that OBD members have access to it.
imo
Yea, full text looks really good, some of the posts don't have "see this post" link besides them though, must be a glitch...
yea, the ibox is the most important, but I would certainly want to share them with those I have as DOB's.... in the end the chairman can axe the BOD if they get out of hand, right? :)
imo
That search in the profile is a very sweet DD piece there Matt, nice job!
On the new BOD feature. I was hoping that BOD members would be able to work on the ibox as well, is this in the works?
imo
++++ FG,
As a newly member of the SCRO BOD, I pledge to squash all bashers, repel the shorters, and annihilate those who would personally attack... all in bipartisian spirit of course;)
And update the DD piece as well, GO SCRO!

Am out at .12, will monitor now, or wait till it goes under .10 to do it all ove again.

OK, so we made .10 on the first 5 months of the year, .20 for all of last year. And, for the latest three months, we've done .07, so that is .17 for 8 months ending, but reported for 3 months ending, cause the 5 months ending was really a 10k cause it was the year-ending for the shell SCRO, that acq'ed ATHI...
Anyway, trailing-twelve-month earnings(ttm) right now would be more than .17, probably more accurate to say .24, given the .17 from this years 8 months, and .07 from 4 months of last year ('99's .20/4= ~.07).
So, to be accurate, we've .07 for the 1st quarter of the new year, ending May '01, and .24 in ttm earnings.
Just to make a forecast:
I would expect that the next 10Q (Nov ending) would be in the .11-.15 range, as they have said they are growing at a ~65% annual clip currently, and concurring with recent on location analysis-- they are doing a lot of business right now, tis the season.
For this next year, having this months .07, next months forecast of .11-15, I would venture to think we will see ~.40 for the twelve months ending may '01.
Also, we'll be on the AMEX, trading under as ATY, have a P/E of ~25-35, ~$10-15 per share price, and will have true analysts covering the stock, not this faux analysis from so called penny-experts-- not that they even come close to us in making money, lol.

The stock is going to sleep, come on lets get it moving!

HOLD ON PEOPLE!!! I just got off the phone with Ernest Chung (Marc's out of town until Thursaday). He had heard about the Lucent Rumor and informed me that Xinnet has not been in talks with Lucent, and that he hasn't even heard of the company mentioned, and that it certainly isn't the same company (meaning it's not Xinnet Corp.) So Stop the Rumor!
Xinnet has had and has agreements with Alcatel, Cisco and Oracle in China...Not Lucent!
On a more positive note, he also mentioned Shanghai and Guangzhou as the next two cities in which Xinnet will work with SINA to expand business. Now that's two lucretive markets!
Rahh
;(... it was such a good rumour, XNET and LU!!
You playing STWW? That one is pulling a train! Easy as swell to make money on it... anyway, on it's way up now, take a look at the chart, looks like resistance at .135, then at .175
At about .125 right now, impact wed of new website, should go into correction with that and go back under .10, for accumulting again. Seems to early for it to break out, I think it's gonna go down one more time, to near .08 begin accumulating, till it turns!
Next time, get yurself 100k, easy 25-50%'er.

Yea, next couple days something further is what I heard, step by step the picture will unfold... don't think it's the one of the big ones yet, but we are getting there.

Loui, submit it to whoever you'd like, I regularly get it out there via certain message boards, and will do so more frequently once we get some PR's or are on the OTCBB for daily changes, that is what is going to bring in the exposure.

TGHI has been on the pinks since when, Jan I believe, was near $1, then even on the pinks was up above .50, and in may/june in the .20-.30 range while on the pinks!
We have a long ways up to go, the price just broke out above 10,20,50 and 100 day moving averages, once above .22, we will be above the 200 day average. Trend reversal occuring, now with relistment, let's see what they've been doing.

Scoop, I agree, BLPT and FRLK would be excellent additions... have a few thousand Buepoint in an account somewhere, and I may accumulate more at some point, it could be a microsoft of china. Forlink, am still feeling the ouch of that not RM'ing into CSCA, and the day I non-pulsed read that skimpy PR of their RM into YNOT, when it was at .75... but I coming around:)
That makes five: SHPS, SCRO, XNET, BLPT, FRLK and any others that are not just pos plays? We should probably make a list of those too, just for when the china comes around, and some of them might be borderline legit... I actually saw a pretty credible rumour that China's Unicom is going to actually go ahead with Qualcomm's CDMA, and that it would be announced by the Chinese next week, now that could be the spark that sends the whole NASDAQ tech sector into its season, igniting both the wireless/telecom sector, and the China sector... I am ready!
imo
OK, now it's moving, starting to uptrend, I looked at some moving averages though, and am not convinced yet that this is going to break out, as the volume is not there yet... news may bring it in to make it happen with volume, but probably not.
It's resistance is around .14 or so from the top lines, and .17 or so with the moving ave. For now, I'd guess that it sells off on news, but continues up on low volume. I sell now most, hold some to wait and see, am still only a buyer under .10
the mkt is turning, but it takes time.

Matt, what about my alias, I wondered if it can be altered, like SI has...

The NASDAQ has awoken, is it for real? I believe so, and with the money flowing in now, the OTC is set to follow, here are the ten OTC stocks that will get me started this season.
pinks
TGHI-- up to .10/.14 now, they got their MM, PRGM, to file, and are set to come off the pinks any day now, filing is done. Rumored to have cash and acq's in place to PR, 28M O/S,in this holding company.
CMIX-- it's quiet now, at .90, but it's worth having some, two acq's in place now, let's see what they do to excite the OTC trading crowd... from the folks who brought the OTC BIFS, it's set to go, 10 M O/S.
http://www.thecomicstore.com
otc's
STWW-- uptrending now, at .12, lots of shares in this stock to flip out and trade one the way up. Anything under .10 I buy, and sell it higher. They do printing and web hosting, have the Tampa Bay Bucs, almost profitable too.
CHOD-- right back where it was last year at this time, but more profitable, they need to start doing the OTC, my money is not working for me there, but I like the company a lot, they don't dilute their shares (6.2M), and they have a nice online IPO mkt coming up online for OTC buyers.
TTXI--.08 A shell looking for a tech/internet RM, gonna get it one day, 8M O/S, tight float. this is another stock that is waiting for it's day, hopefully this year, but if next, that's ok too, one day though, it'll be a double digit bagger.
NSTG-- This is based and ready to go in the mid .20's... I continue to just chuck money in here at random, knowing that they are working in the company, and that they know how to pump their stock up... just waiting for the mkt to turn... ALEX treats this like his least favorite dog, but that's ok as long as I get the bone.
PUNK-- Yea, one for those with rowdy teenagers. Now at $1, was at $10, listed in Franfurt, not your average pos OTC. A profitable internet storage and data company, website developers, 13M O/S, big alliance rumoured. http://www.thepunk.com
SCRO-- My favorite stock that just got hammered, take a look at this chart!
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SCRO.OB&d=1y
But it's a tech stock that has already made .10 in five months, but it's not well known yet, new to the OTC... could be a 10 bagger by the end of the year with their pending AMEX listing,
SHPS-- Falling now with no PR's, ala INVT, they are said to be so near the completion of the Qualcomm deal, and the RM of AccessTel (VoIP, Wireless), that it is just days away... a good price near $1.50 now, with ~20M O/S
XNET-- 380,000 chinese ISP registrants now, I am accumulating this under $2, I'll sell them all in the double digits at some point in the next 6 months when the china runs hit the mkt again.
imo
10 to go up!

The Company understands that several market makers are considering filing Form 15c2-11 with the NASD to reinstate trading in the Company's stock on the Electronic Bulletin Board.
It has occurred to me that this might be the number one reason why so many stocks are held up on the pinks awaiting their return to the OTC.
imo
Yea, I think number 2 as well. It's mostly folks guessing the bottom, then when they see it's not, they take a small gain or loss and wait and see till the next level. I still have 13k of this from ave $2, when I added 5k the other day at 1.21, it looked strong for about a day and a half, then it didn't, so I got out even... I put it into XNET today at 1.70's, cause I couldn't pull the trigger here when it in the .80's... I will buy more, but no use fighting the mkt, I'll choose my places, XNET is at the lowest point it's ever been, and that was on the pinks! I'm about ready to start adding to my long position in SHPS as well.
SCRO is one of my favorite stocks, even though it's not a real large holding of mine, I'd like to get around 30k of it to be a real cheerleader for the stock, LT, it's a real gem, as it has the fundamentals already that nearly all the other OTC's lack.
imo
From MINT:
1) The new investors on board, have been diligently working with Ed Jordan at the NASD. They have narrowed if not completed all the outstanding requirements.
2) A new MM is in place.
3) Re-list next week?
4) There will be many news releases as soon as we re-list. They want this stock at least at the 1.00 mark in three weeks time.
This is a combination of information that i have received. I know that most of it is confirmed. But there is always something that could come up. But everyone is very very optimistic on a re-list by at least the week of the 24th.
I hope someone can back me up and confirm what I have learned. Or at least tell me that I am way off. But today's volume and bid/ask seem to solidify what I have written.
MINT
I confirm, window for relisting is the 14th to the 28th of this month.
What I was told was to hang on to my shares, shareholder value is going to return to it's old highs, TGHI has things in place to begin performing revenue!
Let's see a 30M mkt cap:)
I'll take $1!

imo
FH, this stock is in a freefall at this point:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SCRO.OB&d=1y
are you still holding those shares that you just bought?
Three scenarios here:
1) Someone is unloading their free shares.
2) Folks are panicing-- those who bought thinking it was bottom and those who have held dump.
3) There is a short position that is selling.
Or, it could be some sort of combination, which is your pick?
imo
Nice profile, let's start picking the bottom here, I guess .75 is the cheapest it will be available, and will be buying more then... unless it's this week.
