still in cash. am going to get into the gold fund if stocks have a sharp rise in the next month-- possible.
imho, Jerome
FNINX at 1.61 and FWRLX at 2.58
Not in yet though, the oversold to oversold movement from here could be akin to last Sept. Besides, movement up from here would be a struggle at best, with little confidence to take in new money. Another round of capitulation will need to occur to invite money into the mk't, otherwise, there's no over-riding reason to cover.
imho, Jerome
Well, cycleswise, it could be a good time to move in, just looking as NASDAQ, a weekly 5 year chart, it's oversold. However, this is also a great time for a crash. Since '98, ~1500 has been support.
imho, Jerome
Massive dilution or no-go on the RM, take your choice of poison:
7. Sinobull was to have been reverse merged by May31st, what happened to that one?
a) The SEC asked GTCI to redo the proxy....There are about $2 Million in outstanding loans and GTCI creditors having trouble converting with the low shareprice...So it really comes down to existing GTCI shareholders who aren't ready to accept the huge dilution.... It will happen when they come to an agreement with their creditors..
imho, Jerome
HI, yea, I talked with someone with old-GTCI about a week ago, who talked with new-GTCI recently. They had the paperwork done, but a filing was missing, so they had to go back and do the paperwork, but by that time a new filing was due, so they had to start over... they are probably paying for the filings by issuing shares, otherwise than just dumping out, and possible shorting from those couple of institutions that got bought out with equity positions, who knows... Anyway, apparently they have a couple of more pieces to put in the shell after sinobull arrives (which is still alive), that's the line that's being told, fwiw.
imho, Jerome
Just fine, into the sub-pennies we go...
imho, Jerome
OK, let's review how I'm doing with those April 1st picks!
AL West- Mariners
AL East- Red Sox
AL Central-White Sox
Wildcard- Yankees
NL West- Dodgers
NL East- Mets
NL Central- Cardinals
Wildcard- Cubs
So far, I've nailed it on the head with the AL. All right, but the WS are tied for first. Can we can count on Minnesota doing another late fade? In the NL, I'm OK, NY is in first, STL & LA are just a few games out... except for that Cubs pick-- they've lost 9 straight! And I thought they would go to the series this year, lol. Oh well, doesn't matter, it's the Mariners year.
imho, Jerome
OK, probably about time to start looking to get into a position here, am thinking that wireless or computer hardware is a good sector for a 10-20% bounce from the low that is set here, so will start looking at the selects for a good buy now.
imho, Jerome
GOSN got there E removed, and their financials kick ass.
$68 million Revenue (14 million in 2000), break-even, new $48 million/year contract.
It still has some unresolved issues with the PRC, and am not sure about the shares issued.
imho, Jerome
(OTCBB: GOSN) released its 10-KSB, for the fiscal year
ended December 31, 2001, during this past Monday's session.
imho, Jerome
Wise, I had a buy limit set under .10 for GOSN and it's went off. Check this one out, revenue stream looks pretty solid. Filing is late, other than the possibility they are going on the pinks or someother unexpected thing, I can't see why it has tanked so hard so fast. Not much volume, just might be one of those things that is being easily manipulated, because no one knows about it.
imho, Jerome
The merger is expected to be completed by May 31, 2002.
OH well, I guess next month then. Looks like it's generating a bit of interest, though stuck in this range.
Hey, I just bought, for the first time, another chinese stock, been following it for a while, GOSN. Looks pretty solid, not sure exactly why it has tanked so hard. Late to file, so maybe that is the red flag, not sure. Anyway, financials on it look positive, at .09 I took a gamble for some.
imho, Jerome
Well, too bad this type of PR didn't come out on this stock when it was 1999-2000, it would send it up to the stratosphere quick.

China has recently passed Japan and the US and now has the largest mobile

imho, Jerome
Ah, who knows. I'd say by the end of the month, but that's a pretty stale cliche by now. My guess is that NASD is looking at the cheap shares that were issues, making sure that they are legit. Probably shades of grey, but in the end, just legal dumping, barely. It will be good to put it all behind us, let's say for sure by the end of the year!
imho, Jerome
What they are going to need is for some long-term investors, with institutional sized pockets, step up to the plate and begin accumulating Sinobull/ETLK. I hope Ching has some contacts here in the US or in China that can do this, it's either that, or we sit around and wait a few years for some pop to occur.
imho, Jerome
ETLK got some volume early on after the RM, but now looks dead in the water, with a 33% spread. In the OTC, not many are going to buy a stock and lose 33% immediately. Not that I see the fate of GTCI as being any better after the RM/RS occurs.

Hey mmayr, sounds like you need a bagger :)
You get any of those shares here under .025? I believe those would have a good shot, the ones I have at .07 might take a bit longer.

Baseball is here!
AL West- Mariners
AL East- Red Sox
AL Central-White Sox
Wildcard- Yankees
NL West- Dodgers
NL East- Mets
NL Central- Cardinals
Wildcard- Cubs
Mariners sweep the Yankees in three. The Sox battle goes White, but gets swept by the Mariners.
Dodgers best the Cardinals, Cubs beat the Mets, and the cubbies are in the WS eliminating LA.

Does anyone know who the comparison might be to in terms of US-based corps? Seems to me like a 3rd party information service, like a Zacks, Morningstar, Barra are here in the US.
imho, Jerome
I suppose the shells can still be considered buy and hold though, so I couldn't resist, after selling those 2 ed ira amounts on TTXI, I shuffled them into PCES and ATEL, lol. Those kids got lotsa time :)
imho, Jerome
""They are buying every dip but the dips are becoming shallower. Should we get a breakout over 10635/1175 there could be some serious buying and short covering. Regardless of what we think may happen we need to keep those stops in place and our fingers crossed. The earnings warnings cycle has been very calm to date but that could change at any moment. Remember, the biggest surprises occur when you are not expecting them.""
These next two weeks are going to tell us a whole lot. IF the mkt doesn't start to complete wave down on earnings, it's going to follow the least resistance and move up. I am leaning toward seeing it move up, simply because I remember this quarter last year, and believe that it will be hard to not surpass those numbers.
SPX, I would say 1200 is probably more of a key. But if you look at the recent chart, you can see why he is calling 1175. Looks to me like it's going to happen. Sure, the numbers don't really back it upp. But these guys are sitting on tons of money, and just itching to put it into a return.
Semiconductors sure seems to be what is going to lead the bull. It's breakout in early March was really strong. Looking at the recent SOX chart, it's hard to not see it as bullish.
imho, Jerome
cjp, we all want numbers, nothing is forthcoming, so it's probably not much.
imho, Jerome
How much money do they have for the buyback?
imho, Jerome
You'll like this one. That back -n- forth yesterday inspired me to go through some various accounts which I've not been trading in for the past months to see what is happening. Two of them are still holding shares in TTXI, which has moved .03 to .40 so far this year, and I had no clue. I knew it was moving, but didn't recall owning the shares anymore anywhere. I think I bought them at .07!
The deal is some RM of some computer deal, still trading at .33 or so, I'll cash in the 5-bagger monday, lol.
Some of the other POS otc's are trading below even commission level, due to RS's and sinkage into sub-pennies... I guess those wives will cling to me till the day I die!
imho, Jerome
I like your new tagline... due to many such previous marriages. I am almost cured, lol.
imho, Jerome
Yea, if you want a good return here, you've got to be thinking a few years down the line. It will take that long before folks start playing the otc's for real again. IF this little company does real well, so will we!
imho, Jerome
Actually, I know quite a bit already about BMKS. I was one of the ones who first discovered the stock, covered it out of the chute when it became public, and rode it up over a buck! I still have webbox, good luck with it.
imho, Jerome
Here's one I've been following a long long time. From the otc to the naz and back down again, if they can turn it around, would be a very nice ride back up from .18, news today:
WAVERIDER COMMUNICATIONS INC - 90% Revenue Growth For 2001
New York, New York, Mar 28, 2002 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) --
Additional financing completed, providing cash required for
2002 plan --
WaveRider Communications Inc., a leading global provider of fixed wireless
Internet access products, reported revenue of (U.S.) $7.8 million for its fiscal
year ended December 31, 2001, an increase of 90% over 2000 reported revenue of
$4.1 million.
Net loss for 2001 totaled $21.5 million, or $0.37 per share compared to a loss
of $31.5 million or $0.59 per share in 2000. The net loss for 2001 included
non-cash expenses of $10.8 million compared to non-cash expenses of $17.9
million in 2000.
WaveRider also announced it has completed an additional $2.4 million in
financing, which completes the company's three-part financing strategy. The
financing strategy, announced in September, 2001, has generated more than $8
million, resulting in a cash position that the company expects will support the
implementation of WaveRider's 2002 business plan.
"With the success of our Last Mile Solution(R) products and the completion of
our financing requirements, we anticipate WaveRider will continue to generate
positive year-on-year growth in 2002," said Bruce Sinclair, President and CEO,
WaveRider Communications Inc. "We believe we are building a solid foundation
that will lead to exponential long term growth."
"We anticipate WaveRider will achieve revenue gains in 2002, leading to
profitability for Q4, 2002," added Sinclair. "At the same time, our focus will
be to continue to minimize our operating expenses and increase our gross
margins."

Hi wise, I'll bookmark your board, I recall IBIZ saying they were going to have a buyback last year when the price was around .20, did it happen?
RE: .01/ New York, New York, Mar 13, 2002 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- iBIZ
Technology Corp. announced that it is implementing a repurchase program for up
to 50 million shares of its Common Stock. The Company intends to use proceeds
from the repayment of officers loans to re-purchase the Common Stock in the open
market. This decision was based on the Common Stocks market price which
management believes is undervalued.
Commenting on this repurchase program, Ken Schilling, iBIZ president and Chief
Executive Officer stated, "Since the heavy conversion of the convertible debt
began, iBIZ has seen its share price continue to deteriorate. The stock
repurchase program is a viable alternative to other more drastic measures to
decrease the amount of shares in the public float. iBIZ has made tremendous
progress in reducing debt and corporate burn with an extremely lean staff and
overhead structure. We are completely focused on our twenty-two year-old core
business of providing innovative technology solutions to both niche and retail
markets. We are now on track and have no plans to accrue any further debt and we
believe we will be self-funding in the near future. Repurchasing and retiring
our common stock will not, however, take funds from future product development
and marketing efforts."
imho, Jerome
fyi, PMTR is a wireless communication (makes devices for systems) stock. I got some today off a sell-off, but then the PR came out that it was downgraded, lol-- I was just searching and saw you commented on it a ways back. Not a rec, but I'm going to hold for a buck gain or so anyway.
imho, Jerome
GTCI is coming off a bottom, it'll probably move up to above .50(.05 pre-split) as accumulation by those wanting these shares occurs. Beyond that, it's going to take solid numbers to move it, as well as anything in the OTC, as well as avoiding financing based on shareprice, otherwise we are doomed to further manipulation.

Nobody knows, but he's not saying... so much for the clue.
imho, Jerome
Well we got a recent PR anyway. You have any idea about their financial picture? Is it pretty, or a so-so kind of gal?
imho, Jerome
Doesn't look like we got a filing, apparently, things are in limbo until further notice. I belive that John wants to see this through, so will find a way to move it forward, eventually, with or without Jacques.
I held one shell for a couple of years, TTXI, that just popped out of nowhere to the .50 cent level. I don't know what happened, RM of somesort, but things eventually happen, here too, hopefully.
imho, Jerome
FSESX has done really well, Oil at 25 may be a peak though. Back in money markets for now.
imho, Jerome
Good PR on friday, I'm looking forward to the RM completion, also to the financials.
imho, Jerome
This is getting laboriously long in waiting. I wonder if nasd found something dirty here again, took a long time to get of the pinks, an 8-k for an RM doesn't take 6 months...
imho, Jerome
That would be nice if Snelling comes up as the left fielder for the Mariners by the end of the year, or even sooner. I thought they had a great one in Cruz, but came him away in a terrible trade.
imho, Jerome
Looking forward to that sort of coverage here with Sinobull.
