Whopping 410 shares traded out of 20b.. thats all, still dead
Did get me excited, oh the penny stock days!
LOL... just remove it from my portfolio.. tired of looking at it.
any idea what happened here? first time ive seen this move in a year + from being halted
Great find.. quick question for the board.
Its been a while since I've officially stopped trying to trade penny stocks. Has anyone noticed that often late in trading there seems to be these small sales, usually at the bid for say 100/200 shares?
Obviously in a bankruptcy case i'm not looking for technical indicators, I just wonder if the big boys are trying to keep a lid on the potential here?
Thanks in advance
Cheers!

Got some nice buying at the ask in last hour, bid support.
Chart setting up nicely, higher lows. Some news here and we could see a nice pop soon imo.
The bondholders, an ad hoc group led by hedge fund Paulson & Co, proposed forcing any party seeking to influence the outcome of Lehman's bankruptcy to reveal the nature of its claims, including the price paid to acquire those claims.
Is there any precedence for this? I dont understand the relevance of price paid. This seems to go against everything that capitalism stands for.
First add to my position since 09 i think, 5 years from now it'll be genius or horrific, we shall see :)
Scare tactics? not sure what your talking about look at my previous posts
I'm long RENN, broke support is all im saying
falling below 10 is very concerning..
relax, whole market is down. broke support at 12 and it was headed for 10 after that. still a good long term play imo
one of these days we'll get ours :)
Nice to have life again and see some familiar faces again :)
GL to all of us who have been patiently waiting!
4s are leaving the station...who wants em? all aboard
Do Your Own DD!!
Do not trade on the whims of Matt Sanchez/Jim Pronto pumpers, nor the bashers that are out there as well.
This is gambling, no way around it. Set strict limits for yourself and only throw in what you can stomach to lose. GLTA,
we all knew it was a pump n dump.. just figured they'd pump it a lil more before dumping ;)
lol -- just came in to report it was a good day being down 6 instead of the usual 10-12%.
Beat me to the punch!
agreed. nothing has changed unless you bought on margin in which case you prolly need some new underwear.
Cramer/Media have created a hype based on yoku/bidu recent performance. I believe this will follow their lead.. just not overnight like the media was leading us to believe.
Love the panic from everyone who thought this would be a 500% gainer overnight. Will continue to add to my position slowly but surely.
Patience will be rewarded imo :)
Id be very surprised if it reaches that level, i'd have to think institution buying would give it some support before it falls below ipo price.
who knows though, hope your wrong :)
nice dip to add to my position :)
wonder what the reason behind it is. underwriters dumping their shares? regardless thanks for the cheapies.
Nice day thus far. Interested to see if it can hold $55 prior to close.
Wamu moving up again today... be encouraging if one of these days some of these court cases/settlements led to us getting back over .04
been trying to get filled at .02 myself... no luck. anyone notice the drastic drop in WAMU the last few days???
nice news.. decent bid support today.
nothing to do but hold for the end result at this point... GLTA
this ones cooked... sad, glta
word is getting around, heard about TEVE this week and grabbed a small position.. congrats to all u long term holders!
14.7% would make me go from six to midnight. heck, trading at the level of the commons would be enough to put me back in the green and happy enough. Heres hoping ladies and gents.. could be a long long ride
hope ur right... more and more it looks like the MMs very well may walk this down to .01
i think u bring up a valid point. if this news was so crushing to us why isnt the selling going ballistic and the volume going thru the roof?
IMO it is because we STILL have no clue what may happen here. Make your own decisions based on your tolerance of risk, this is not for the faint of hearts. I'm prepared to 'go down with the ship' if need be.
CTs now trading below the commons. sounds about right
it has been my understanding that this is the share class breakdown
Capital Trusts - Class VI
Preferred - Class IX
Commons - Class IX (but after preferreds)
Additionally it is to my understanding that all shares of a particular class are equal (i.e. all Ls Ks would be grouped together in class XI, Fs and Js and all the other preffereds in class IX)
Some please correct me if im mistaken.
agreed. while this isnt the news that will send us flying what has ultimately changed here?
Were all still waiting on a B/S, the updated Assets v. Liabilities, and some clarification as to what is due to us in the end.
I'm not going to sell off in a panic b/c I dont fully understand the disclosure statement, one that is unapproved nonetheless
commons seeing a nice gain again today.. maybe well follow suit one of these days
getting some nice hits at the ask currently
agreed. I've been all in with Lehman since September. If i happen to go down with the ship, so be it.
While the reorg plan could be classified as disappointing, we will be rewarded when we finally see a new balance sheet imo.
I emailed James Stergold from Bloomberg news regarding the $30B number reported in his story. I stated that no one else was reporting this #, and that it was not listed in the reorganization plan and any of the dockets. His predictable response below.
"Thank you for your interest. I'm afraid I cannot go beyond the statement in the article but we will continue to follow the case closely."
I agree, and am doing the same. Just got some LEHLQs at the bid.. discount shopping this week.
The FQs are trading at a significant discount to the Js even.
I just think a few weak hands got shaken out.. plain and simple. How many on this board own over 100K shares themselves? The volume, as brikk aforementioned, is in reality not that high for the news that broke yesterday and our 66MM that is out there.
We know that our shares still have value, and although lumped into the same class as commons (Class IX) there is still a very clear-cut distinction between Preferred and Commons shares protected by law.
Someone please correct me if i'm mistaken.
