what is going on
3rd qtr results are unaudited & since nutrastar will not report audited full year results early next year as required I suggest
getting the best price now available rather than waiting.
you heard it here & now, regards pappy
As I have been saying on other boards Nutrastar will never report yearend 2015 earning.
Believe me the money is gone. sorry for those that were not listening.
Sold all my remaining Chinese stocks.eom
good luck surfer I be selling nutrastar before they go dark even if I have to sell it 500 shares at a time.
Over the last 3 days,,FRI,MON,TUES,,,only 200 shares did not trade at the ask,,,yet the pps is down $0.02 over that time frame?
Looks like the market maker has his own interest ahead of us poor investors.
Anyone have any last hope stocks in this space?
Not very good odds that I am right but mine is nuin.
Nutrastar is coming under increasing downward pressure even though 3rd quarter results should show a upward bias due to increased distribution channels & a government o.k. to enter foreign markets.
They have the current ability to triple production ahead of entering foreign markets along with increasing China penetration.
Actually looks like the pps is continuing to drift lower on moderate to light volume.
While 3rd quarter results should have been outstanding due to the added distribution channel opened up we will need to wait about another month to view results.
When foreign introduction of pill & capsule versions of cordycep are introduced sometime next year the growth rate should be explosive as Chinese & foreign growth will call for a tripling of available supply.
While Nutrastar can meet demand by expanding its current facilities it has been slow in doing so.
Guess they are waiting on demand before increasing supply.
Nice growth "but" Nutristar not only needs to continue reporting on a regular basis "but" a cash dividend policy of at least a penny should & could be started.
Nutrastar international had better than usual volume today of 64,884shares of which 63,284shares was buyside & 1,600 sellside.
After having a 4th quarter that fell short of company guidance the 1st quarter of 2014 showed that health drinks were not meeting expectations.
However the 1st quarter may have been the end of a two quarter downtrend with the rest of 2014 showing a slow improvement in what should be a transition year.
2015 according to management will mark the start of international expansion & maybe cordyceps production will finally pass the 100 ton mark that has been a key to holding back faster growth.
NUIN has been a good stock for swingtrades & I believe we are very close to another bottom with much higher prices expected before yearend 2015.
As long as nuin continues to be fully reporting unlike most pos Chinese companies that are not.
It seem both I & p&f charts were both wrong & that fundamentals trump techicals.
Now the long term still looks bright as long as they decide to keep reporting but there is no guarantee they will since this is a unpredictable Chinese run company.
It is true Mr Tick has the reputation of being a honorable man & that Mr Fearon has shown remarkable know how in his past market decisions, but he bit off a huge amount of a Chinese company to invest in this time & only time will tell the outcome.
I will continue to hold since I am somewhat a die hard but Nutrastar is the last of my 5 amigos that continues to report with [jada, wkbt utra & now cpqq]all deciding to give U.S. investors the finger & quit reporting & closing up shop to their websites.
We will someday have to fight the Chinese & possibly the Russian in world war 3 but until then I guess the U.S. will continue to cater to there ways at U.S. investors expense.
Just got off the phone with Howard Gostfrand the IR for Nutrastar & other than confirming no dividend expected he seemed to know very little about nutrastar.
Nutrastars revenue & earnings fell short for 2013 with fully diluted eps of $1.30 when I expected $1.40 on less revenue than the company gave guidance for.
International introduction of new products they have been working on pushed back to 2015 & introduction of health drinks is proceeding very slowly making 2014 revenue guidance $47-$50M instead of the $55M+ I was also expecting.
With over $100M in cash I see no need to conserve cash unless a acquisition is planned in the near future.
This effects my near term target of $5.50 as well as my 2014 target of $8.50 while 2015 still looks bright if indeed the developed pills are ready for international introduction then as planned.
I am changing my opinion on Nutrastar to hold unless a acquisition or dividend are forth coming this year.
Up 51.11% on 30,000 shares someone bought almost $200.00 worth.
cpqq update,,,Making new highs today on o.k. volume,,,stock t/a has resistance @$0.6133 with the pivot point @$0.5733.
rating short term =80% buy,,,med. term =100%buy while the long term is still only 33% buy.
cpqq need to get past $0.75 a major resistance point to get a stronger long term reading.
So the technicals are getting stronger awaiting fundamental or buyout news that is sure to come in the near future.imo
Nutrastar update;
I will be watching tomorrows trading to see if todays trading really gave a buy signal.
$2.98 +$.09 or 3.11% on o.k. volume.
The short term indicators EMA went from neutral to bullish MACH also bullish $2.98 just happens to be the 20DMA which had been in a downturn & had been converging on the 50DMA which has been in a steady rise thru out this corrective phase.
Intermediate & longterm technicals remain bullish so everything is now pointing in a up direction.
The MM did all this by some what painting the tape since down volume outpaced up volume 2-1 so what is going on.
We already know 2013 a long awaited report will show outstanding growth & that a insider has been buying this "china" stock like a crazy man.
What else does this MM see or is he just another crazy man buying to much Chinese.LOL
Why the sudden buying interest today?
Although only 39,000 shares traded today they were all done at the ask.
$0.06+$0.02 or 66.67%
I think Roberts starting to nibble again $2,500 at a time.
That is about all he can buy at one time without making the pps jump up to fast since sell orders are very few & far in between.
I don't look for Robert to continue this practice for long with out making another offer.
cpqq has been basing just below Robert Fitzgeralds buyout offer that expired of $0.50.
The 20dma just happens to be @$0.49 & i find it significant that cpqq found strong support there today.
I believe Robert is back buying again today & may have a new strategy for cpqq.
Keep a eye on cpqq for further news as another buyout maybe coming.jmho
Herb big time movement continues,,,rumors of big time forward guidance,,,however that maybe factored in after todays move.
Nutrastar appears to be finding some support just below $3.00 might be a good time to buy before the next leg up.
Expecting good news by late March when they will report 2013 & give 2014 revenue guidance.
Remember Richard Fearon increased his ownership by investing millions of dollars & that got Nutrastar noticed.
I do not believe he is done helping Nutrastar achieve his objective whether it be taking it private or helping with international product entry.
P&F charts have a $8.50 price objective for Nutrastar & pappy has a intermediate price target of $5.50 or there abouts on the next leg up.
Cordyceps Militaris has such a strong worldwide demand that the CEO will weight his options & find going south with the cash the less prefered China way of doing things since Nutrastar is the worldwide leader with present capability to increase production another 300% in house while it explores acquisitions.
P&F pattern shows a triple top breakout 8th January 2014 long before the strong breakout to new highs of $3.95 last week.
Preliminary bullish price objective $8.50 is far above my very conservative $6.00 target.
These Chinese companies wait until last to report yearend results so expect them to report in late March.
Nutrastar should give 2014 guidance when they do report so I expect both T/A & F/A analyst to say raise those price targets.
Nutrastar the star of 2014 in my opinion.
I am not predicting it but Nutrastar has the projectory of a moon shot.
Nutrastar has long had very strong fundamentals but a lot of skeptics as should all China stocks after the last few years.
Then entered Mr Fearon a very reputable U.S. investor with a solid background of success willing to put some of his millions into Nutrastar.
Nutrastar had already come off its 52 week low of $0.61 & was around $2.00 when a chain of write ups got public attention of the facts.
Two 350,000 share days earlier this week got the pps up to$3.95 before the current pullback started yesterday on hardly any volume other than all the 100 share trades by the MM just to stir the pot.
So far the pps has retraced to $3.20 less than 50% of the previous move up & this is occuring in a span of days.
If this continues Nutrastar could well be the star of 2014.
Not a 100% sure but no one ever is in any market Chinese or U.S. but I have had many 10 baggers over my 50+ years playing small caps & Nutrastar looks as good as any I have enjoyed prior to the launch.eom
Well Nutrastar is indeed being noticed with over 100,000 shares already being traded so far this morning.
It is only January & Nutrastar is heading in the direction of my $6.00 conservative target very quickly.
That conservative target was based on low end cash value for 2014 what if it gets a p/e ratio of a super growth stock with a product in strong demand & hard to duplicate-a 50% Chinese discount.
Nutrastar has a small float in strong hands currently so if the hedge funds decide to enter oh my that target goes up 10-15 x eps.
That target would be $17.50-$26.25 & yes I know pappy gets a little crazy at times but I will be 77 years of age May day so I can hopefully be excused.
And yes my 2014 eps estimate is $1.75 with 2013 coming in around $1.40.
I have a $6.00 price target on Nutrastar based only on cash value for 2014 & I believe that to be a conservative target.
Short term Nutrastar is over extended imo a pullback is in order near term however another new high is likely when they report 2013 results & give 2014 guidance.
Amazing Nutrastar made another 52 week high today on very strong volume for this stock.
Ahead of 2013 year end numbers I never figured this & I have a 2014 target of $6.00.jmo
Nutrastar is showing brisk trading so far this morning & the mm is letting the pps rise to meet demand.
I was thinking new 52 week highs would only arrive after final 2013 results were released however Nutrastar has been getting some good press from gurufocus & seekingalpha lately.
Nutrastar has increased Cordyceps production to over 100tons per year & this will facilitate the further launch of consumer products into a expanding market.
Places like Japan,Korea,HongKong,Australia & Southeast Asia that have been awaiting product delivery can now be served.
Look for 2013 & 2014 to show strong growth imo.
We have all taken a bloodbath in China stocks over the last 2 years but remember the market does heal given time.
I am of the thought that 2014 maybe a good year for selected China stocks of the fully reporting type.
Cordyceps Production Facilities
Nutrastar has 75 available buildings owned by the company to house production of Cordyceps Militaris.
Currently 20 buildings are operational with 100 tons annual capacity.
Projected demand according to a market survey of Cordyceps in 2012 will reach 1,550 tons a year by 2016 well exceeding aggregate production capacity of 550 tons a year.
So Nutrastar has almost 20% of total world production currently with a capabilty to increase production to 375 tons a year if they so choose.
Nutrastar currently has plans in place to expand further in China along with entering Korea,Hong Kong,Japan & Southeast Asia markets.
seekingalpha also has a article on nutrastar.
By going international nutrastar will not only increase revenue since only 1/3rd of present demand for cordyceps militaris is in China but put cash in other than Chinese accounts that can be used to do buybacks & give out a cash dividend since money in China is not readily availablefor conversion into U.S. dollars
Nutrastar markets cordycepin compound[3-deoxyaderosine agent that has shown promise in reducing cancer tumor size & boosting the immune system.
I believe this could be a explosive product to introduce on international markets.
Sunsailor I hope everything works out well for you & others invested in jada,,,I have a small 5k position so its matters much less than wkbt & nuin my 2 largest positions in this space.
I also have a small position in cpqq & utra but am only buying nuin currently.
All of my positions are either even or underwater in spite very good growth in some.
You would think China stocks have done me in however over the years I have done quite well in them.
Can't say the same about the SEC which thru its greed for the fast buck has done me wrong on a number of small caps I owned or thought I owned until they took my shares without remorse.[planet hollywood, utra & a few others]
I have very little interest in continuing to invest since I am almost 77 years of age & feel the bulk of my assets should not join the play money I now have earmarked for high risk.
According to yahoo= BV $2.39 & cash per share $1.62 as of last reporting period.
Seems Robert Fitzgerald according to his filings was disappointed that CPQQ didn't offer to do a buyback at lower prices.
His offer was a 25% premium over the $0.39 pps at the time of his offer.
Since 11/20/13 he had bought approx. 89,000 shares on the open market bring his total share holdings to 1,408,013 or 7.2% of total shares outstanding.
Mr Fitzgerald is a private investor who lives in Texas who provides equity capitol to undervalued high growth companies.
He & his family are the owners of the corp. he has to do his bidding.
Thanks that explains the reason for the unusual volume & pps rise.
However why only bid $0.50 per share when CPQQ has stated current BV OF $2.39 &cash per share@$1.62.
That is offering quite a discount on a Chinese stock.
cpqq has been rising on better than average volume today & yesterday on no news that I am aware of.
Although they have continued to report earning those earnings & revenue gains have not been what I have expected over the last couple of years even though the potential for strong future growth remains.
Like most other China stocks however they seem to generate more cash than they need for operations yet refuse to give us U.S. shareholders a dividend or buyback what appears to be grossly undervalued shares.
Until China shows U.S. investors a little more respect I find it hard to actually recommend buying to many shares.
I have bought a bit more Nutrastar on the basis of strong insider buying by a reputable director, a CFO i like & strong growth.
Strong upward volume the last couple of days but haven't heard any news to account for the sudden buying interest.
No volume probably because the float is being soaked up by 1 of the directors & pappy.
Even so new 52 week highs continue.
I see plenty of good news yet to be announced imo & that should lead to a increase in volume & a probable spike.
I have a short term target of $3.50- $4.00 followed by jump to $6.00 in 6 months based on t/a & f/a converging.
I realize this is a China stock & the CEO is not to be fully trusted imo however I think the buying director will have a positive influence on the CEO & the CFO seems to be a man of honor.
NUIN management sold 827,000 shares to Accretive Capitol Partners in private transactions increasing their ownership from 5.3% to 10.4%.
While at the same time lowering the CEO's ownership to under 50%.
The stock is down about a 1/3rd from the highs it made when it reported a very strong 3rd qtr of growth.
I expect full year results to be even better & along with the growing possibility of a going private buyout I believe NUIN is in a better position to reward than most other Chinese stocks.
$0.007 once again & it still sucks
Still climbing on strong volume,,,the new high reached $2.05 the high of the day unless you count after hours.
According to company guidance 4th qtr & full year numbers should continue the strong growth posted in the 3rd qtr.
However the true test of share ownership is a declared dividend & with over $5 per share in cash let's bring it on.
They have no need to hold cash for acquisitions since all growth to date has been done in house.
