EBIO. I'm noticing 59% institutional ownership and 26% insider ownership. Looks strong.
Do you have info on timeline for completion of the phase 3?
EBIO...mark the Float is 7 million and OS is 19 mill. That correct?
Hey guys. Is there a timeline set for moving into the clinic for human trials? I looked on the website thoroughly but can't find any info and didn't see a corporate presentation either. Wasn't sure if it was mentioned at the shareholder meeting or perhaps a conference call.
Thanks in advance!
That will be great news as well. These patents take so long from filing until notice of allowance and finally issuance. Every bit of positive IP establishment will help alleviate risk and make Anavex 2-73 more attractive to BP as long as positive clinical results continue....AIMO

Didn't see this link posted so sorry if it's a duplicate...Patent Allowance for Anavex 2-73!!!
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/anavex-receives-notice-allowance-u-110000536.html
Haha! You hit the gist of the nomenclature I was shooting for! Many unexpected things happen. Biggest thing to remember is to know why you got on the bull in the first place then hold on tight!!!!!
I know everyone would like to see it steadily climb and they become bored but I like the process of the company moving and progressing. The ride gets easier as time progresses...I selfishly hope we stay down here till end of August so I can throw some more coins in the bull ride ;)
My apology for the Incorrect post. I read that completely wrong in the prospectus. Thanks to you and Rk for the clarification.
It's an intense ping pong match between $1.11 and $1.12 right now...

I agree, however I don't see it returning to recent highs once the start of PII is announced. I could be wrong and that's just my 2 cents.
Just wanted to make sure the correct number was posted. I like the science here. I'm curious to see the trial designs and duration. Hopefully that is released soon.

Share count recently changed in mid July. The current OS is 101,525,712
That can be found in the recent prospectus here...

Argghhh...I have no more dry powder till the end of the month!!!!!! I'm jealous :)
Agreed. I think this could be a good buying Opp although I'm not sure bottom is in yet. The reason I believe it's slipping is due to the uncertainty of when the MRI data will come and with that a potential partnership for Trimesta.
They filed a 200 million shelf also which may have spooked a few out. In my opinion the partnership and terms of the partnership will be the key to derisking at least part of the shelf offering that will have to take place before PIII. A great partnership for Trimesta with cash is what I believe a lot are waiting on here.

I'm still long SYN
Thanks for your DD in this regard! Very thorough!!!
Haha. Great post!
All insurance plans will want to push generics. That's just a cost saving measure. As long as Vascepa is covered and you have a patient copay card you shouldn't pay $9. It's the pharmacys that push generic drugs because they are incentivised by Insurance companies to do so. Always ask for the brand and have them use the copay card. Pharmacys can be misleading in order to get their bonuses for pushing generic meds. AIMO
I agree 100%. Talking about Jelis is key. Talking about Anchor is great but outcomes speaks bigger to a DR. Right on with that point.
You have missed what this suit is about 100%. This suit allows sales reps to explain benefits of Vascepa in a much larger realm outside of the label of triglyceride levels over 500. Amarin has been able to say that Vascepa is 96% pure EPA since day 1.
Invest83838....so a few things I think you should know. The affordable health Care act does not have an effect on other insurance plans as far a prescription drug coverage goes. The people on the Affordable health care plan do primarily receive generics. However, this has no effect on how other insurance plans cover meds.
Secondly, sales numbers have plateaued over the last couple of months somewhat but you must consider its the summer and Drs and patients go on vacation regularly on this can have an affect on script numbers. I suspect these will start to rise starting in August. Time will tell.
Question for you. Do you know anything about the managed care coverage of Vascepa?
JBem....it's still not 100% known. Here is the email I sent to IR along with the response regarding possible September/future data releases.
Email from IR....
I know we have discussed data release in regards to end of the year or September. I emailed IR and basically there has been no further date specified for data release besides the end of the year. However, that doesn't mean it will not be released. Bottom line let's not get hopes up on any near term data release but let's look toward end of the year. Hopefully we get a SURPRISE but at this point that is specualtion. See email below.

Subject: PIIa Topline Data Release
I am fascinated and excited with the science here at Anavex. Recently I decided to become an investor and was very excited to see the preliminary results of the PIIa trial. Several investors and I have been trying to establish if Top Line data will be released publicly or will we have to wait until the end of the year to see the Final results. Any clarity you can provide would be appreciated.
I/we are very encouraged concerning this potential treatment option for those suffering from Alzheimer's.
Thanks in advance,
Xxxxx
Please excuse any misspellings as this message was generated from my iPhone.
The warrants are banned from the warrant holders doing that. That info is in the recent prospectus filing. It's a stipulation agreed on both the company and warrant holders.
CTIX...bounced from low of $1.30 and over $2 as I'm typing.
AQXP...Congrats Kei and ash!
CTIX...correction they have data due on Kevetrin before the end of the year. My apologies for misposting.

CTIX...has been pushed down big time by shorts and a negative bash article. I think it's bottomed. They have 3 drugs in the clinic with data due out on all before the end of the year. May be a good price to jump in with a few shares at a huge discount.
Very good info! Thanks for posting the link as well!
Seeking Alpha....
Historically this thing has done well during lunch hr. Not saying it's gonna happen but historically 12:30ish EST is what I've noticed. Could just be randomness and I'm not saying it's gonna happen today...we will see soon enough. Haha
I think that is the correct way to determine value here and it will probably be the same method tutes use when looking at whether to increase/decrease/start their position.
There's only about 7 million shares in the case of warrants that can possibly be canceled by the company. That can only happen if we stay above $1.50 for 20 trading sessions(might be 30 days I'm having trouble remembering). The others will all come to fruition at some point.

Haha. Mine will do the same thing. Her method of approach is funny. I use to show her early on and anytime I showed her a gain she'd reply,"your gonna pull that out right". When I say no she would come back with,"I just don't understand why you have to keep it all in the account"....if she only understood you have to use the profits to make more profits.
I'd rather have my money work for me rather than work for money....
Tom. The charts in my opinion do not favor at all. Volume has been way higher than here than it was with TPIV. Not to mention the buying has been significantly more with AVXL. All I'm trying to say is try not to get caught up in comparing the 2 company's charts. It's about the fundamental differences between the 2 that will be the differing factor here.
AIMO
Good luck!
They were stacked like that yesterday for a good portion of the day. I expected this today. If we stay sideways that will be very telling in my opinion.

Thanks biohunter!
Ended up getting 1250 at $1.29.
I added at $1.38. Bout to add 1,200 shares here again
Everyone citing these trials that were approved before PIII need to look at the underlying disease. They are all aggressive forms of cancer. It's not an apples to apples comparison. See my previous post with FDA link
I buy in pieces when a stock gets away from me. I believe it will dip today. We will see!
