Well, let's see, looks like some big blocks went off EOD, one was 100K shares with price flat-lined at $1.50. Is that what they do behind that screen they wanted?
Thanks Jax. I also want to thank WS, CEMM and the many others contributing to the EC's efforts.
Thanks Jax. Our EC has done well in getting us this quality in representation. Mr Goffman is well spoken.
Perhaps the BOD can learn from this. It makes one wonder what they've been doing lately if a judge can spot sandbagging so easily when they can't, or is it that they don't really care?
Can or should the EC propose a POR?
Well, I think I remember what "Fiduciary Counselors" did for them before. For the sake of those few who still hold shares, I hope they do too.
Flame orange with black skunk stripes. An awesome ride as well as a serious chick and ticket magnet with 496 ponies off the showroom floor! I never got far enough to talk price as I told them I was in the middle of divorce and didn't want to complicate that proceeding. Sales manager called me twice saying they have 50 of them and want to deal, and I told him the same thing.
I'm nowhere near ready to sell any CEMJQ, I've got a lot of it and wish I could buy more...but can't for the same reason. Problem is, she knows the value of what I own as well as I do, and would really like to make a case she is entitled to some of it but it's not going to happen that way, no matter how long she drags this thing out.
The dealership is Mack Haik Chevrolet here in Houston.
This stock is going to be one hot tamale soon as a lot of folks here have always known it would. Strong business model, semi-monopolistic position in economy-critical areas of a sector that is peaking, debt gets paid with cheaper dollars courtesy of our
visionary govt, co has strong opportunistic and innovate management, as well as some of the most interesting stockholders on the planet. I havent posted much, but check in here often and am still holding my position, post LTG treatment. It has been one fine ride that will benefit generations behind me, and I have learned much here on this board and a couple of others.
The really cool thing about all of this is, the ride has just barely begun! Interesting how it got manipulated down up to tax filing deadline, and she turns here now with the MOR. I got mine e-filed just under the wire @23:55 on 04/15/2010! Couldnt resist coming here, as usual.
I beleive we may see some tax refunds spanking the SP in the ask as we come out of this consolidation. I am glad we knew what we owned, thanks to the great DD and abilities of a lot of folks here.
I test drove the 2010 SS Camaro RS2 when I was having my truck fixed at the chevy dealership, and when the time is right....who knows what might happen with an aftermarket turbo on that thang? I might have some spoiled chillin's thanks to CEMJQ :)
How about option 5: The company has been restructured into eight independent profit centers, each with it's own managment that will follow the vision and leadership of the CEO and there is no Executive Vice President position.
This guy is probably a great guy and well worth the position he had and I am inferring nothing negative against him, but this kind of thing happens all the time in corporate america. It is reducing overhead, where positions and management layers are eliminated at the top of the organization instead of laying off workers at the bottom of the organization.
You know the old saying, "Nothing personal, it's only business", and I have heard it said more times than I want to think about in these times of getting leaner and meaner and more competitive.
This is why guys at that level usually carefully consider whether or not to take a position like that and usually negotiate a golden parachute, as the lateral move is usually not in the company....and maybe not at all.
HF,
Ecclesiastes 7:1 says:
"A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth."
May you and your family find peace, comfort, and happiness in the the gathering of your family to celebrate the life and happy memories of your Grandmother and the blessings of that relationship you all had with her.
I hope your time coming home to Texas and that time with your family is enjoyable and memorable.
BB
Some of my kids are crazy and introduced me to his "genre". He's a hoot, in the right setting and company.
It's worth more than that. People who are selling don't know what they own. The shares will be bought by stronger, wiser hands.
Do you do Richard Cheese?
I can do the bouncing if needed, my hands have lots of scars.
Wall, as a fellow Texan, I would like to offer these ideas for courtroom attire.

The possibilities are endless if we export Texas Aggies to California! I would increase the IQ of both states and maybe save our economy!
We'll get there. Truth can only be hidden temporarily.
I agree, if not a higher price.
Yes, the mottos for these dog days are:
audacter calumniare, semper aliquid haeret,
asinus asinum fricat,
and
Audemus jura nostra defendere!
Many thanks to our equity committee members!
Roy, that corroborates my view from the other end of the marketplace. I think we are due a $.50 or better move up very soon unless there are some obscene raw materials costs or obscene overhead (distribution, marketing, labor, payroll, or legal) costs.
Operating results improved 77 million dollars or 32 cents per share over 4Q '08, so add that to ~1.50 per share from late Dec 08 at we should be above $1.80 and that is if you discount the appreciation of european assets, the hugely valuable strategic business structure created in '09, or the value of the imminent project cloud etc...
Very foolish to be selling this stock unless your financial situation is dire.
I don't have the ability to see level II, any comments from those of you who do?
So do I
Nice Jax. That sounds like the real deal to me.
It's shaping up nice for a big move up fundamentally and technically now. Don't forget about project cloud, the probable rout of some fraudulent claims, the imminent release of a nice quarterly report, I'd say we might get elevated a bit next week in the near future....
Ween, one of my son's when he was four years old decided he didn't like his name "Justin", and he asked me angrily...."Dad, why did you name me Justin?" I said, "Well, your momma didn't want to go to the hospital too soon and waited too long to come out to the car. After I drove her to the hospital like a mad-man, and she was wheeled quickly into the elevator and then to the delivery room...she got there just in time for you to be delivered by the doctor, so since we were there just in time we named you Justin, and that is a good thing because if you had been born on that elevator we would have had to name you Otis."
He's been happy with his name ever since.
I know a guy with a last name like that, a great guy, a West Point graduate and one fine engineer to work with. Adversity turns a man out right. Johnny Cash had a song about that you know.
Thanks OTCBB. Had bought that one a long time ago, and was thinking the same.
I'm looking forward to Friday, March 5, aren't you? I'm thinkin' things might be looking pretty good by then.
I'm a lurker who followed the many great posters over here from CEMJQ where I still have a great position, and has profited from a small and growing position in MESAQ. I have another little position that I would be interested in any comparisons from you guys. See attached.

I think it just means the weak hands are getting "wrung out", when the big money buyers see it that way and up the bids because they aren't meeting acquision targets we move higher. We're in a good place for a good run up, all the momo is long gone, and so if that happens and then some news brings in some more volume on top of it then it should be a nice ride. We watched the MM's drive this down on low volume for a while, and that's not so easy any more-now it actually moves up significantly on low volume. Fundamentals are doing nothing but getting better all the time, so it's just a matter of time. Short interest being up with stock price moving up like that ought to be making those shorts a little nervous and that could make make for some interesting price movement too IMHO.
I agree these trends are good for the company, and the MOR's, especially when you look just at the bottom line number on a "stand alone" with no frame of reference for analysis or thought can create negative emotional reactions that have no basis in reality. The MOR's are where the "fluff" gets reported, the legal or tax maneuvers, hypothetical writedowns that have no material relationship with the real business of the company, etc....are reported mostly for domestic operations.
A much better understanding of the real picture has always been in the quarterly reports that more accurately affect all of the revenue and earnings of the whole company that we longs own.
This is a healthy strong company and in my eyes it has been worth more than $5 per share for a long time. I beleive that, in time, this will be proven in spades. This is not gambling, or being foolish to put and keep my money here...it is rational value investing and there is no better place to be right now to my knowledge.
I feel sorry for those who found this, invested in it, but failed to understand it well enough to resist the temptation to "flip-out" of the stock on emotion, like someone did with 100000 shares this morning. The money they lost is probably gone forever, and so is what they could have made if they had just taken the time to calm down and invest the effort to know what they own.
True, but reality may be even higher when liabilities are substantially reduced and efficiencies increased as a result of Chap 11 tune-up.
This is absolutely right, what matters most is whether you are "in" or "out".
All the more reason to let facts, not emotional reaction to short term events govern actions. I like the TA for identifying entry points and strike prices, but selling this stock in the forseeable future especially just on TA is nothing but insanity because events like what you describe are entirely possible at any time. The fundamental value is here and cannot be dissolved instantly through some quick action. The biggest risk is actions that we ourselves may make in reaction to fear or greed emotions instead of logic and DD. It would be a shame and travesty to miss an instant 30 bagger increase in value like the real world history lesson you gave.
Those who understand and profit from history, generally end up being the rulers of those who don't. This is a fact that has proven true time after time after time.
It's amazing how little volume it took to move this up almost 20% in a day.
There is a great dissertation on this subject in the book "Physics for Future Presidents" written by a professor of physics at UC Berkley. In it you will see a lot of data including ice core boring data from the arctic, anarctic, and major glacial masses. There is a wonderful annotated graph in it that shows there are short term and long term cycles in the earth's climate which shows the progress of mankind happening during the warming cycles and the setbacks occurring during the cooling cycles, and that the surface of the earth was actually warmer during the time of Christ.
Cyclical phenomena that is not widely understood is a great political tool, a good example is eclipses, and how they were used in early civilization by those who studied and understood them.
Mankind would like to think ourselves so powerful, but the fact is that we are not and will always be dwarfed by other natural pheonmena. Think and grow rich, and stay thirsty my friends.
Anybody enjoying that snow in the southeast today? When was the last time you remember that?
Wall, I second that. Many thanks to you for all you've done and are doing. This won't last long and isn't worth getting upset about.
Hey, you know what...I heard something about college station, they got this place over there called hooters that has these waitresses with the big er...hooters! Well, they got this other restaurant that serves breakfast and everything, but they only hire them one-legged waitresses! Have you heard about that place?
I think they call it.......IHOP!
Hey, I never saw it...no harm done.
HFIELDS & WS, I'm as long and strong as I can be in this stock and have been since $0.05, grateful and respectful of you both for what I have learned from each of you. There is nothing so important about an opinion that is worth making it personal and nobody is 100% right all of the time or has all of the information about everything, and that is why this forum is so valuable as it challenges us all to think and form our own opinions.
My 2 cents is, this is not a stock to flip because it is such a huge value, there is nothing to compare to it in that regard. Those who are doing that do not know what they own. News could come out any day that leaves a flipper behind or a short-trader crushed and flattened. The only trading I ever think about here is to buy because it has never been a very long wait for this stock to move up big. Having said that, money flow looks like the little swoon might run a tiny bit more before we pull up hard again, probably harder than it did in December-and that could start tomorrow or shortly thereafter-and I have to say that HField made an accurate call then. I see the panic selling and opportunistic shortselling as just setting us up to bounce higher and faster when we do turn around. This is a certainty in my mind because of the nature of the business and the economic conditions affecting it. To my knowledge there is nothing to indicate that this has changed or is about to. A little short-squeeze won't hurt us longs at all.
Peace, Prosperity, and GLTA
To answer the question about CEMJQ in a reply, I look at it in a relative sense, and no it won't be good, but this will be a relatively safe harbor as the sector will do better than most, and our asset value will only escalate when the dollar turns brown and starts to swirl clockwise. Besides, I think CEMJQ has restructured itself very astutely, creating through business relationships what will ultimately prove to be a functional monopoly in some very high value products.
To all of you who replied with kind public and private messages...a heartfelt thanks. And yes, she is a psycho. I was told so by a board-certified psychiatrist who said she had a serious and dangerous personality disorder and there wasn't much success in dealing with it. As a Christian, I spent several more months and thousands working with some pastoral counselors in hopes of a miracle that didn't happen.
The psychiatrist was right, she did a lot of malicious stuff that he actually predicted in detail, she staged situations with cameras to provoke me to anger and capture that on film...but I saw the cameras beforehand and so that failed, then she tried to set me up and charge me with assault but the Sheriff's deputies saw right through that, so I escaped that too. I finally accepted that I had to give up on the relationship after she tried to seriously injure me while my kids were around, and they said they weren't coming back and wanted me out of there asap and I couldn't argue with that.
When I left, I took the bassboat and all my stuff and moved into a rented house in a subdivision which is far away from where she lives. It is one of the more exclusive ones in the area, is a bit remote has armed guards at the gate after a high profile "hit" occurred 2 years ago about 2 houses down from where I am sitting right now. A close friend and business associate who is semi-retired and lives here told me yesterday when we were on a business lunch that the Texas Rangers recently caught 2 of the guys, but the ring leader, a Yemeni, is still at large. I will stay here and keep a low profile until the divorce is over and there is no motive for harm to come to me...I thought about that months ago and took steps to protect my loved ones and self.
My "circuit" is one that is not easily accessible as part of the plan, security here and security at work, and I don't run around a lot so I am not easy to get to unless it is somebody I want to see. I have a lot of friends who live here, and will be getting back into Golf again as they do a lot of that here in the "hood".
Catdaddy...I know all about rodeo culture as a native texan from the high plains. I never participated in a rodeo, learned to ride bareback like an indian and in spent a lot of time in the saddle growing up. I had a lot of friends who were rodeo cowboys and tried to get me into college rodeo teams etc..., but I never did it. I have spent plenty of time on ranches and farms, and made some of the money I educated myself with punching cows,or building fence..so your question gets an affirmative answer.
Nowadays my fast pony is an iron one from Japan which has enough acceleration to make me temporaily look like I came from there too. I bought her a bike that I left behind with her, but it is one of those fashion accessories and she will be severely affected by high speed lip-lash if she tries to catch me. She's got it advertised for sale on craiglist anyway.
So, no worries, Life is good. It's just a time-consuming pain with all the discovery and interrogitories and all that mess when all that matters at this point is a settlement and a decree.
