Nice pick man, sadly i missed it......RAM is kicking my arse, you still feel good about that one?
After a long hiatus from trading after the SLD debacle....I AM BACK!!!!
Got in before close!
Great pick so far buddy,
Sad I slept in today and wasn't watching...will be waiting for the next one!
You guys ever double dip?? APP looks tastey again...
haha, that pick actually did ok today....oh well, i did some light DD on it last night and was prob going to stay away...
agreed
Yeah, great pick guys, i got a nice 13.5%, may have sold a bit early, but i'll take the profit!
Looks like a good pick, chart looks pretty primed, although its been getting bidwhacked here for like 100 shares, reminds me of the SLDs :)
that thing is performing almost as well as an SLD!
If you provide your name and address, I can mail you a physical copy as well.
Hey insider,
Sorry i missed your call, I ended up pulling the plug on ZSL, will let it sit for a while and may look for re entry next week.
haha, i think i'll dress up as one for halloween
ZSL is killin me man!
NEWS!
please show us another example of an improper coding, i dont think etrade would make mistakes like that, it would end up being very costly to the business.
The B key is pretty far from the E key after all...
Hey mel,
Are you still expecting to release the forum tonight, or most likely in the morning?
Thanks!

I echo these sentiments. Most of the den peeps are still holding, if they had sold, the volume would be MUCH higher than what has traded today.
I like your way of thinking!
You would however agree that holding through Monday would be the most prudent though correct? (i.e., definitively securing the dividend no matter which set of rules are correct)
It would be great if they said something along the lines of "reaffirming .10 or more" and that there are a "significant amount of shares unaccounted for" or something to that effect without being too specific. I think it would do a lot for those doubting right now and still let the company act according to their plan.
by far the most painful and hellacious dvd of the set
you digress....
you got it!
Hey vegmeg, I'm going, name is Sam :)
Good work VZ, on that note, can anyone name a "scam" company that built a brick and mortar in an elite shopping center, next to the likes of Louis Vuitton, Tag Heuer, etc?
I seem to have difficulty coming up with one....
Ottavio Calvarese makes no sense at all, just continues to reach.
Agreed, I would also agree with you that it is likely more than .10. Per ExB's email response from the CEO in regards to .10 total or .10 per share, he would rather under promise and over deliver...thus .10 is just the basement and I would assume he would love to over deliver :)
The arguments against EIGH just keep getting weaker and weaker, obviously a sign the company is doing a good job keeping transparent. The two takeaways from today are:
1) Massive naked shorting
2) People are still and will continue holding through the shake - Although we were down, very very good buy sell ratio today
These attempts are becoming laughable
Can someone post a L2 screenshot please?
TIA
I totally agree, also if they drop it lower, not many will sell as it becomes even closer to the possible divy of at least 10 cents. The only way I see out, is UP
excellent, thanks!
hey cici,
are you able to screen shot that? My java doesn't seem to be working today.
Thanks!
kezzek,
Do you by chance know the buy/sell ratio for the day?
TIA
Hopefully this moves on air, as it dropped from .30 on nothing
Exactly, just look at the Accum/Dist line, totally unchanged by this "sell-off"
Agreed, sadly for them, it is too little too late, I'm clueless as to why they didn't start earlier like when the divy was announced, arrogance I suppose. Anyone they would scare out of shares would be people who bought the past few days, which volume wise isn't too substantial. No one that has significant shares is going to sell because:
A) We were never in this stock for the divy anyway
B) Monk's behind this puppy
C) Even if the divy was enticing, no one really seems to have a final answer on what day you have to hold until, so why even take the chance?
Its obviously going to heat up the next few days, they really seem to want to drive it down tomorrow. I'm prepared for lots of circular arguments. The den is strong and will only get stronger. Interesting and exciting times!
No joke, freaking boring, luckily the amount of money being made in EIGH puts any FAS/FAZ trading to shame :)
Ex,
The count you had for me is correct as well.
Let me know if you need anything further and i'd appreciate the final count as well.
Thanks and look forward to meeting you in Boston!
Agreed,
Schwab told me the same thing, to not send to Schwab, but to send directly to the company.
Special dividend definition - per wikipedia
A special dividend is a payment made by a company to its shareholders that is separate from the typical recurring dividend cycle, if any, for the company. The difference may be the result of the date of issue, the amount, the type of payment, or a combination of these factors.
The amount of the dividend is declared special or significant in relation to the stock price. For this reason, the ex-dividend date is set one stock trading day after the payment date. The stock will trade on an ex-distribution basis, adjusted for the amount of the dividend paid one trading day after the payment date. The determining factor for a special or significant dividend is usually when the dividend is 20% or greater in relation to the underlying price of the stock/security.
To be entitled to a special dividend, you need to be a stockholder on the record date. To be a stockholder on the record date, your purchase would have needed to be made a minimum of three stock trading days prior to the date of record or record date.
In the case of special or significant dividends, the stock trades without the dividend from the record date, through the Payment Date, then adjust for the dividend paid and starts trading on an ex-distribution basis one stock trading day after the Payment Date. To be entitled to receive the dividend, it is required that you be a stockholder on the record date and hold your stock until the payment date in order to receive the dividend. When a special or significant dividend is being paid selling your stock between the record date and payment date relinquishes your right to the dividend.
The earliest you can sell your stock and still be entitled to the special dividend is one day after the payment date, or the date the stock begins trading on an ex-distribution basis.
A prominent example of a special dividend was the $3 dividend announced by Microsoft in 2004 to partially relieve its balance sheet of a large cash balance.[1]
