I thought that you might interested in this info. It does relate to Canada And the U.S. because the issue of the gas line from Alaska crossing Canada to Ameruca according to this book will not be built. America apparently has three more oil feilds that have already been discovered. Two of the fields are the same of the existing field and the other is four times larger the North slope find. Which means in Alaska there has already discovered oil fields which amounts to 90 billion barrels. Isn't that great we've sitting 90 billions of oil since 1993 in the US
The Energy Non-Crisis by Lindsey Williams
Lindsay Williams
About the Author
Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Transalaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, and because of Mr. Williams' love for his country and concern for the spiritual welfare of the "pipeliners," he volunteered to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company.
Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to the information that is documented in this book.
After numerous public speaking engagements in the western states, certain government officials and concerned individuals urged Mr. Williams to put into print what he saw and heard, stating that they felt this information was vital to national security. Mr. Williams firmly believes that whoever controls energy controls the economy. Thus, The Energy Non-Crisis.
Because of the outstanding public response that has been generated by this book, Lindsey Williams is in great demand for speaking engagements, radio, and TV shows.
(Addition to the fourth printing of the second edition.)
Please keep in mind when you read this eye-opening book that BAPTIST John D. Rockefeller BOUGHT the U.S. government after the Supreme Court decision to outlaw his monopoly in 1911.
Forword
The content of this manuscript is only as valuable and useful to the reader as the credibility of the authors.
The honesty, integrity, and therefore the credibility, of the authors of this book is unquestionable to the limit of their combined facts and knowledge.
I can personally attest to many of the facts, and certainly many of the conversations quoted in the book, as I spent a week with Chaplain Lindsey on the North Slope of Alaska during the construction of the Trans-Alaska pipeline. I was privileged to talk with high officials of Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. For reasons unknown to me, I was given access to private information that apparently very few outsiders were ever given. I moved among the men at work and in the baracks. My week on the North Slope was a liberal education.
The motivation for this book is to bring facts to the American people as the authors know them. They do not have a political ax to grind nor any personal advantage by bringing forth these facts. Our President has stated that our energy problem is the equivalent of war. Yet he has embraced policies that have continually discouraged and hampered the development of our oil industry.
Nearly ten years ago President Nixon warned of a pending energy shortage unless our domestic production be drastically increased, but Congress insisted on restrictive price controls.
Congress has been urged—and sometimes threatened—by special interest groups to take a negative stance on energy production, but they have miserably failed to take proper action to increase our domestic production. In fact, as you read this book you must come to the realization that energy production has been fiercely stifled by "Government Bureaucracy, " and Congress has sat on its collective hands.
You, the reader, will be left to make your own conclusions as to why this set of facts and circumstances conflict many times with what we have been told by the news media—which is fed its information by Government Agencies and Departments.
It is with great pride and pleasure that I endorse this manuscript and compliment the authors for taking time to do the research and make it available to all of us.

China's vocational schools maintain high employment despite expectations
Graduates from China's "blue-collar" vocational schools have an employment rate of 95.6 percent, but many lose their jobs because of unrealistic expectations, according to a senior official with the Ministry of Education (MOE).
MOE figures show a total of 3.64 million students graduated from vocational schools last year, of whom 3.48 million found jobs. The employment rate for these students was 95.6 percent.
"The employment rate for blue-collar workers has stayed high since 1999 and above 90 percent since 2002," Wang Jiping, the MOE's deputy head of vocational education section, told Xinhua on Wednesday.
"However, the figure is not the cause for optimism because it only indicates that people get employed."
He said many students find jobs, but are unable to stay in the posts for reasons such as overly high expectations for salaries or poor performance.
Wang said vocational school graduates needed more guidance to find jobs that could use their skills and meet "rational" demands for wages, so that they can stay in the posts.
The government is to establish a national information platform to better show market demand for blue-collar talents, he said.
MOE figures show 73.23 percent of the 3.64 million graduates from vocational middle schools found jobs in companies and enterprises, 10 percent started their own businesses, and 16.37 percent went on to further study.
Wang said the demand for highly skilled workers boosted the development of vocational education. To cater to the demand, the MOE called for vocational schools to set up more market-oriented training courses with which students could easily find jobs.

China Resolute to Boost Vocational Education
China's top educational officials have vowed to help vocational education thrive in the less-developed hinterlands and encourage more private businesses to support the training programs.
China's top educational officials have vowed to help vocational education thrive in the less-developed hinterlands and encourage more private businesses to support the training programs.
According to Wang Zhan, Vice-Minister of Education, more vocational schools will be established in rural and western regions. More than 88 percent of the labor force there have received only minimal education.
Wang said that by 2005, senior vocational schools in rural regions will enroll up to 4 million new students a year. Current enrollment is 2.5 million.
Vocational schools in rural areas will also offer various formsof training for 8 million members of the labor force before they get new jobs.
The enrollment of senior vocational schools in western regions, which is now nearly 800,000, will be increased to more than 1.2 million in 2005, said Wang.
The vice-minister also said that companies should take the initiative to establish vocational schools and vocational traininginstitutions so that their staff members can become well educated.
Local governments will take the lead to design plans for vocational education. The development of vocational education should be combined with local social and economic development, Wang said.
Statistics from the Ministry of Education show that the number of vocational schools in China reached more than 19,200 last year, including more than 1,000 at the junior high school level, 17,800 at the senior level and 386 university-level training institutes.
Last year, over 11 million students studied in China's senior vocational schools. During the current Five-Year Plan (2001-2005),senior vocational schools in China will contribute over 22 milliongraduates to society.

China's social development
With its integration into the world economy, China is beginning to see vocational education as important to maintaining fast economic growth and social stability.
With its integration into the world economy, China is beginning to see vocational education as important to maintaining fast economic growth and social stability.
A three-day national exhibition on vocational education formally opened here Friday, hosting hundreds of vocational schools throughout China.
"We hope the exhibition can improve Chinese people's understanding and awareness of vocational education," said an official with the Ministry of Education (MOE).
"More importantly, we hope the exhibition will promote the future development of vocational education in China," he added.
Yao Wu, vice-president of Digital China, a leading Chinese high-tech company, said he had just watched a computer skills competition held for vocational school students and was deeply impressed.
"I think I will pay more attention to vocational school graduates when my company needs to recruit new employees," said Yao. "We need different people for different jobs and I believe vocational education will provide companies with more choices in selecting qualified staff."
Statistics from the MOE showed that within the last two decades, about 50 million Chinese have graduated from vocational schools.
"They are now the major force in China's industrial and servicesectors," said an official.
According to the MOE, recent years have seen the rapid development of China's vocational education. Statistics show that the number of students in China's vocational schools increased fourfold from 2.27 million in 1980 to 11.64 million in 2001 and the number at higher vocational institutes rose from 60,000 in 1985 to 720,000 in 2001.
However, with the deepening of China's economic reforms and industrial restructuring, vocational education faced new challenges, said Wang Zhan, Vice-Minister of Education.
In recent years, Chinese vocational schools have established more than 200 new training programs to meet the demands of the market. A 2001 survey showed that 78.4 percent of vocational school students found jobs after graduation and 10 percent chose to continue their studies.
Vocational education was a key to upgrading China's human resources and to increase employment making it crucial to economicgrowth and social development, said Wang.

Hartcourt decided to conduct its business as a holding company for China’s providers of vocational education and technical training services. Hartcourt structures itself so that its portfolio of companies and affiliates can operate well-recognized institutions with dominant positions within their regions and sectors. Hartcourt pursues an active and progressive strategy in its business planning, execution and operations.
Hartcourt originally made an exciting and sound move by focusing its business in China. Successful China operations require the management team to possess local knowledge, and to be a commercial success in China, a company must work with local business partners, politicians and professionals. Hartcourt’s management team members have strong credentials in combining both Chinese and international business knowledge. We have the relevant track records in successfully managing business turn-arounds in China. Above all, this management team is experienced in helping companies achieve their goals by identifying problematic situations and solving them, by making solid business plans and executing them.
We have researched the business plan and conducted the feasibility study targeting the Chinese vocational training marketplace. We think that the vocational schools in China, which has over USD10 billion annual revenues, will create a big opportunity for Hartcourt. Hartcourt will not only acquire the target schools and hold the investment, but also run these schools actively by putting together strong faculty teams, incentive plans and strategic expansion programs. Our strategic advisory and education technical expert committees will enhance our capability to train our students better than our peers. Our corporate alliances will help our graduates to be employed in right positions. We feel the plan is solid and believe it addresses all the core aspects of the business strategy. We anticipate structuring the deals so that every stakeholder is satisfied. We plan to pursue an aggressive re-positioning strategy. By saying "aggressive re-positioning strategy," we mean we will carry out our school business acquisitions for the time being as Hartcourt's core business, instead of adding one or two schools to make Hartcourt more diversified.

We already have good news but were not acting on it. Why hmmmmmmm? I'll venture a guess, the continue failure to succussfully implement a ongoing enterprise and the management failure to follow the rules which resulted in a violation these same SEC rules and which resulted in a million dollar fine. JMHO
I believe the fine was excessively harsh and and I also believe someone who bought HRCT or had a friend that bought Hartcourt influenced the SEC to hammer Poor little hartcourt into the ground. Grrrrrrrrrrr JMHO

Somebody needs to light a fire under them and shout loudly into there ear that it time to get moving and proto. is as much as this is the case the shorts are playing with it.JMHO
