You said 'I would think as an informed investor you would want to be notified via an 8k, or at least a pr, when a major change in company management occurs. Like the President leaving. But I guess that is not a significant event to Fisher and thus didn't feel the shareholders needed to know.'
So you knew it was pr'ed yet you claimed that we never got the information? Interesting.
It was pr'ed on January 28th, 2010. Please review the pr's.
nice fat figure .0147 there.
i was just going to say that we just blew past it. 200 is next.
I'm positive. I have TDAmeritrade and have done that on all of my trades. Whoever your broker is will have to assign the shares to a particular trade.
You can assign what shares you want sold.
Sure. I'm asking 5 dollars a share...:)
Check that, just changed for me.
Check that, just changed for me.
I still see the CE.
NITE is the ticker symbol.
Can anyone explain what it means when the ask jumps up after closing? How does this happen? The ask right now is at .035.
They were compensated with 50 million shares, I believe sometime in early 2009.
I think the bottom was last week at .012.
I just slapped the ask for 25k shares. Anyone else helping?
And people wonder why we keep ticking lower.
It would help if people stopped buying and selling at the bid, and did it at the ask.
Does anyone else see that the ask went up to .034 after closing?
It's still holding the 200 day moving average.
But where was this confirmed? I haven't found it anywhere. No one seems to be able to produce this piece of information.
I find it hard to believe to Epic. The fact that he is claiming that Robert had a private conversation with a shareholder about information that would have an affect on the future price, without making it public information, is a little bit of a stretch for me.
Syracuseo, I'm still trying to find where the company released the information about the RS. Where did you get your information from?
Where did everyone read about the RS? I haven't seen it in any of the PR's.
Is anyone hear a part of the class action lawsuit? This is the first I've heard of it.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Breathe people.
Check that, I found the float on pinksheets. However, the outstanding shares on pinksheets don't make what is in the ibox. Do we know what is correct?

Here is the correct PR (on TD Ameritrade):

BioCentric President Dennis Fisher today announced the company is in serious negotiations for the exclusive licensing of the closed loop photobioreactor system, with an Asian country. The terms of the negotiations, the licensing fee and the country in question are to remain confidential at this time. Mr. Fisher also indicated the exclusive Licensing fee for the entire country was a significant amount and that a consummated contract is anticipated during August 2009.
Company COO Mr. Dennis Shen returned from China earlier this week and confirmed the Teaming agreement with Zhenxing Co was fully executed, and the company is now able to leverage the resources in China to design and manufacture certain components for BioCentric's global operations.

The results of the test will be made available by Press Release and the company's website.
Mr. Shen will be returning to China in the second week of August to finalize additional negotiations.
Dennis Fisher, Company President, today commented, Emerging Green Companies today released a 3 part Interview on their website which is a detailed introduction to how ALGAE is produced, harvested and the products' end use contributing to a future all "Green" environment.

And to pick up on your other point, about the pollution created by ethanol produced by corn. Here is a quote from a CBS news article on ethanol:
'Factories that convert corn into the gasoline additive ethanol are releasing carbon monoxide, methanol and some carcinogens at levels "many times greater" than they promised, the government says.'
Seems like algae wins again.
Chart question. I get the red and green on the candle stick and OHLC. But why do lines show up in yellow(candle) and white(ohlc)? Are they pending trades?
David
If you get a copy of it, let me know. I'll submit it to TDAmeritrade through my account to try and get them to post it on there.
David
I'm doing some DD on this company. I see that most of the PR's and chart analysists are from mid to early July. Are there any new pr's and perhaps any recent chart analysies? Well I understand the hope of a stock going up, I'm wondering what support there is for that.
David
I've been watching C for a little bit now. When is the proxy vote suppose to happen? Or is this just a rumor?
David
250k shares here.
Mile, just to expand on your thought a little. As an architect, I've found that most of the contractors I've worked with will rent the heavy equipment and trucks for the job they are currently working on. That way, they don't have to deal with the expensive of owning them. Most, if not all, of the concrete contractors I've dealt with own their own vehicles.
I just did a quick search online and found 55 companies in Utah that rent heavy duty construction equipment.
I have 50k share sell at 1.00. I won't be sad if that happens to be sold either.
Mick, the link works for me. It may just load slow.
But I think your point is valid. How do we really know what is there? Obviously, google map is not updated day to day. But at this point, no one has been able to provide any concrete evidence that ENCS is infact there.
And to follow up on the comment about the 'please email questions', in all due respect, that has been on there website for months and months now. And I have emailed questions(only twice), with no response.
I was able to find the address on google maps too. But when you look at the street view, there is a tanning business and a construction business where ENCS is suppose to be located. Has anyone gone there? Do we know how many employees work there? I've written the company a number of times, and have never gotten any responses back. I had high hopes when I first bought shares. But I am extremely skeptical at this point.
