Bought even more today at 0.12 ... solid entry point ... solid base.
Anyone else out there?
picked some up at 0.12 today.
When and how is this going to $2?
A dividend would be better than nothing, but if they aren't planning on buying us all out and going private then I would rather they do something like get us back onto the OTCBB or better for increased visibility and interest.
My theory on AYSI:
As a pink sheet stock they have no obligation to the shareholders to report financials. They are going out of their way to provide regular reports because they are building a solid record of their profits for the sole purpose of selling their business. This started before Gene's death as part of the family plan and the kids will see it through to completion. The enterprise value and share structure in a sale scenario would ideally see shareholders get a solid ROI from current levels.
Thoughts?
I'd rather they stick to a plan and start announcing progress towards that plan instead of telling us how much their dirt is worth.
Nice day today... hoping it holds through the new year.
The only hope for Western rare earth companies (and I say that specifically to distinguish from miners) is to develop new technology which could efficiently replace chemical leaching as the primary method of rare earth separation.
Ucore is developing a new technology with their partner and Texas Rare Earths is also doing this. Both are promising, but highly speculative. I have positions in both, and not because I think the rare earth market will recover, but because of their development of these technologies. I hope they are profitable from licensing or otherwise being an REE separations facility instead taking on a huge debt burden to mine some deposit they own.
That's not why the stock is trading at 0.12... it is 100% end of year tax loss selling.
Nah just some end of year sellers.
Loaded up at 0.11

Wouldn't know, closed my position at a +50% gain a while ago and never looked back.

$1700 traded today LOOOOLLLLLL ... SAD!
I doubt it. $30 will come first.
The tail doesn't wag the dog...
No way, up from here
Not sure how anyone could be worried about this titan of a company. They will thrive, even if their stock hits the pits. Look for AMD bankruptcy soon as Intel continues to take market share and PC sales dwindle.
no religion, just facts. intel up from here. micron up from here. deal with it.
up from here
Is stock $12? Did I miss something? Looks like it's $14.56 to me?
nope
Rare-earth elements are poised for a recovery
Published: Aug 19, 2015 12:53 p.m. ET
“Eventually, the Chinese producers will be unable to supply the world with cheap rare earths,” he said. “Demand is rising rapidly, especially in military technologies, clean energy and smartphones/tablets” and supply risks remain.
Debono said it’s likely “only a matter of time before higher taxes and positive demand fundamentals translate into a recovery in prices.”
Some firms have already started to pass on higher costs to consumers, and many Chinese rare-earth element producers are reportedly operating at a loss and may have to close by year-end, Debono said.
China wants to keep control of its “rare-earths monopoly” so it drives down prices to force competitors to shutter operations, Handwerger said. But “as competitors shut down or go bankrupt, expect to see the rare-earth prices to once again rise higher.”
“Don’t be dismayed to see the Chinese invest in overseas projects for pennies on the dollar to take advantage of the next upturn,” said Handwerger, who owns shares in Ucore Rare Metals Inc. UCU, +4.92% UURAF, +7.56% and Pele Mountain Resources GEM, +0.00%
China realizes “the value of the rare-earth market and saw its increased usage in technology decades before the rest of the world,” he said.

Well stated.
Keep in mind AMD got caught up in a game Intel wasn't trying to play and they are now about to declare bankruptcy.
Couldn't be more wrong. MU up from here.

This "TUNG news" is regarding a completely different TUNG, not the one this board is trading on the OTC
Stock should be trading at 0.0001 soon enough.

a whopping $1,500 traded today LOL
I'm glad you're making money trading and not holding long because this stock is going to get wiped out any week now.
zero hope. sell now imo while the stock still has small small value associated with it
"In addition, Oaktree has dropped their demand that Neo be sold, to get it now, Molycorp will have to default on the loan."
which they most certainly will do. is everyone here forgetting the reason the company is bankrupt is because they are unable to sell their worthless Ce and La light REEs for a profit?
