IWEB news on AAPL looks good from here- yet IWEB is down some today.
I am riding this one out. I did no get out of CCTC on the first pullback either.
IWEB
IceWEB First Major Storage Vendor to Open Doors to Apple iPhone Clients
Apple(TM) iPhone(TM) and iPod(TM) Touch Users can Access Iplicity Storage Platform Remotely
STERLING, Va., March 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IceWEB, Inc.™ (OTC Bulletin Board:IWEB.ob - News) , www.IceWEB.com, a leading provider of purpose built appliances and building blocks for cloud storage networks, announced today that the Company is preparing to release a solution which provides direct connectivity for Apple iPhone and iPod touch devices to the Company's Iplicity™ Consolidated Storage Environment.
Gary Dunham, SVP of Product Development & Engineering for IceWEB stated, "Data is of little use unless it can be as available and as mobile as its users. Iplicity, our innovative storage environment, innovative because it supports all major data access protocol suites, has proven itself in meeting this need for data mobility. There are millions of iPhone, iPod Touch, and (soon to be) Apple iPad™ users worldwide. These users come from all walks of life, but in general are business people who rely heavily on these revolutionary devices to keep them connected to their employers, customers, friends and family. The new solution, which will be available shortly, gives full remote access from those devices to any data stored on the Iplicity family of storage products. Remote users can open, download, upload and create files and folders across both WiFi and 3G networks on our storage servers." Dunham continued, "Closed, or wired-only storage systems, as offered by many legacy vendors, are a relic of the past. Business today demands that company employees be able to meet customer requests from wherever they are. Having to tell your customer that you'll send them a file once you get back to the office can often make the difference between closing a deal or not. Intelligence + Simplicity: that's the motto we preach with Iplicity every day. We believe it's intelligent to put data in the hands of our customers wherever they need it."
The new product offering, called IceShare™ will be available for purchase and download from the Apple Store, and will also be offered as a corporate site license.

Thanks, cargo. IWEB post on Yahoo might give insight into why more volume
THh CEO presented at a conference this week.If this post is to be believed, it went well and the CEO said that revenues would be double last quarters'.
POST
Minimumof 100% increase in revenue this quarter 25-Feb-10 12:25 pm
I had a friend (e-mail acquaintance) who got to go to the Conference because he lives in West Palm Beach. I asked him for a quick summary.
He said there was about 200-250 attendees. IWEB presented later in the afternoon than expected--more like 4PM vs. 2 PM. There was alot of interest in IWEB--partially, in his opinion, because Signorello was a pretty good engaging speaker who walked around with his microphone as he presented a Powerpoint presentation. He met the IR guy, who told him that if he wanted the PP sent to him by e-mail, just give IR a call.
The thing that stood out for him was that they were asked how was the current quarter going so far. Signorello said that revenue will increase over 100% from the past quarter. To me, that is good information and is not insider info because it was presented in a public forum.
But does make me wonder it IWEB will put this forecast or guidance in a soon to be released PR.
One other thing, Signorello was surrounded by people asking questions after his presentation, and my friend wanted to ask him a question or two, but had to leave because it was later than he anticipated the presentation would go on to.
All in all, he was impressed. And he said he bought some more IWEB--but he would not tell me how much.
Nice chart
IWEB has zero volume today so far--and the CEO is about to present IWEB to a bunch of investors in Boca Raton this afternoon.
I traded a little of IWEB last year and did well. And I am tempted to buy back in down here at .09. Cloud computing is a big trend right now and they are in the thick of it--but more like in the beginning of being in the thick of it. But, of course, if it was obvious to all that IWEB was going to be growing exponentially in cloud computing, the stock would not be this low, right? LOL
IWEB's 52 Week Trading Range $0.05-$0.24 (now at $0.09)
* Basically a new to the field Cloud Computing Company with a Market Cap of about $7-$7.5 Million
* IMPORTANT--Gross Margin Increased to 54.5% in the Fiscal First Quarter (ended Dec 30) from 27.2% in the Year Earlier Period
* IWEB finally got their debt down big time -- from $9.6 Million to $600K
* IWEB has Announced Contracts/Partnerships with Google Earth, Exxon Mobil, 2010 Winter Olympics, 2010 G-20 Summit, Canadian Health Ministry and a number of others mentioned in their press releases.
*MOST ENCOURAGING RECENT NEWS-- Data Storage Veteran Chen, previously with LeftHand Networks, developed LeftHand’s distribution channel and helped sell the company to Hewlett Packard for $360 million. Not Bad.
And the chart looks, well, mixed. Needs more volume, but I think the stage is being set for a move over $0.10--which is the near-term resistance--and therefore, significant for a breakout with REAL volume (IMO--1-2 Million shares per day)
IWEB chart
Very difficult to have new traders get in and see CCTC roll over so quickly. This is why I never stay too long when a stock runs that quickly.
Details on my next pick-IWEB
Sorry I did not do this overview before:
IWEB is a Cloud Computing Company (hot sector)with a very low Market Capitalizattion of about $7.2 Million. IWEB is at $0.09 now and the 52 Week Trading Range is $0.05-$0.24
Last quarter, the Gross Margin Increased to 54.5% in the Fiscal First Quarter from 27.2% in the previous year. They cut their liabilities substantially from %9.6 Million to $600,000. But what I really like is that their technology is SELLING to major companies like Google Earth, Exxon Mobil, 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2010 G-20 Summit, the Ministry of Health in Canada and more.
BUT--Last week, IWEB hired on a successful data storage veteran with a pretty impressive resume. Karl Chen was with LeftHand Networks, where he built out the distribution channel. Lefthand was sold to Hewlett Packard for $360 Million. Chen's joining with IWEB, in my opinion, is a precursor to another build out of another distribution channel for an up and coming data storage company (IWEB)to eventually build it to be sold to another major player.
--- IWEB CHART is right at resistance. Expecting IWEB to do well this week.
CEO will be at well-attended investor's conference tomorrow. Watch IWEB for more volume as CEO reviews very recent positive news to a new audience.
Thanks, cargo.
