I watched the Microsoft presentation regarding the W10 and I was impressed. I'll certainly get the free updates from W7 and W8.1 to W10.
Click Favorites in the menu above and you will see the tab.
No but if a member has shown zero interest in the stock for 2 months and got auto-removed he would need to start posting and show some interest before I would consider approving him again as a mod on the board.
The wobble boards look interesting. Standing still for a long time is hard on the legs. I'm going to think about trying one of those. Should help with circulation and strengthening the legs and balance. I would get a low axis or adjustable one if I try it.
Naw. She would just laugh.
You need to get W8.1 so you can learn all about it and help others with their problems.
I was concerned about the cloud at first but then I changed my MS password to a very strong one that is very unlikely to ever get hacked. Same for my wife. She uses the cloud between her 3 computers.
If you use the cloud for all your files and then buy a new computer it's great. Log in to MS and all your files will be there.
How do you back up all your files in case your computer totally crashes and burns? Daily back up on another drive? Save to a disk or zip drive?
I'm waiting for the Windows 10 to come out on new laptops and then I will buy one and also upgrade my W7 and my W8.1 to W10.
I need at least 2 working laptops at all times. I switch back and forth between them. One on my regular desk and one on a standing desk. I panic when one has a problem leaving me only one that works. This way I'll always have at least 2 that work. :)
I use the MS Onedrive cloud so I can access all my stuff from either one.
On top of that my wife has a W7 and two W8.1 laptops and works full time on those so I always have to get her out of trouble with one or the other.
Okay folks. Please post on topic before I start issuing restrictions.
When/Why Messages Are Deleted
If you apply to be a mod and your application is accepted you will be notified.
If you apply and there is an opening and there are are several applicants on the waiting list we review them in order based on the date they applied.
If your application is rejected there is no notification sent.
You can see if your name is still on the list by clicking on your tab called "My Mod Requests".
(Edit) Additional info regarding mods:
Be aware that our automated software program runs every Saturday morning. The program removes moderators who have not been active in the previous 2 months. Inactive means they made no posts and made no removals of posts that violate the rules.
So if you (meaning any mod) no longer have an interest in moderating a board please remove yourself from the board before our program removes you.
Thanks.
Please check your ihub mailbox and read the PM that I sent to you.
Good point. I can see how that would be helpful. It might eliminate some of the daily Protests that we get when a user doesn't understand why his post was removed.
Same old rules that we have had for many years:
Any time you post about Users or reference groups of Posters (bashers, pumpers, cheerleaders, naysayers, Moderators, etc.) in your message, this makes your post subject to removal as off-topic and/or personal attack.
Your messages need to focus on the company and the stock and should not contain comments about people who post on the board whether specific or in general. Other posters are never the topic of the board.
When/Why Messages Are Deleted
1) If you do not want your posts to be removed then you must not put ANY content into them that will result in their removal.
2) Other users are not the topic of the board. Content about other users is off-topic and may result in removal of your post.
3) Moderators are not the topic of the board. Content about moderators is off-topic and may result in removal of your post.
4) Deletions are not the topic of the board. Content about deletions is off-topic and may result in removal of your post.
5) iHub is not the topic of the board. Content about iHub is off-topic and may result in removal of your post.
I don't see a problem with this board:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/STL-Marketing-Group-Inc-STLK-11626/
When you log in you will get one pop-under. If you stay logged in all the time I don't think you will see them.
If you log out and later you log in again you will get a pop-under.
You have an ad free account but that only applies to the message board pages. You and everyone else will see ads (or spam as you call it) on the home page and on quote pages.
No. Everything on ihub is time stamped EST.

That number doesn't change based on the number of posts.
If you are getting unwelcome Private Messages, click on the link at the bottom of the PM that says "Block User's Private Messages".

Strange. :)
According to this old post by Meatloaf these are the only emoticons that can be used simply by typing characters:

Paid subs see ads on Message Boards unless they are grandfathered or pay extra for ad-free.

I'll get right on it. :)
Enjoy your weekend too. I'm off duty.
Exactly. Unfortunately some people don't know what a link is. You would be surprised how many send me post numbers and expect me to search for it.
You paid for Level 2 real time quotes but did you also pay the extra fee for mobile access?
Call 1-888-992-3836 tomorrow during market hours and they will help you. I think it's about $5 extra for the mobile access.
I suggest that you post your suggestion on the Q & A board. I don't think many people monitor this board.
Post it here:

It's the same on your computer.
On the computer when you want to clear the new message count you have to click "Remove" on the Private Message. That removes it from view and it archives the message.
All PM's are never actually removed. They are all archived in Inbox Archives or Outbox archives. See:
"Do you wish to deny me my civil rights?"
No, I wish to inform you that we have rules that you will follow if you wish to remain a member on ihub.
Try reading the signature rules:
http://ihwiki.advfn.com/index.php?title=Handbook#Member_Signatures
Your "civil rights" don't trump the ihub Terms of Service.
Better rethink that.
You need to keep those pictures out of your posts like admin told you long ago.
Make sure they are not in your signatures as well.
Please stay on topic. The only topic to be discussed here is GRCU.
