Hey doc, was looking at your spreadsheet again, nice of you to update it for us :). Just a thought, I may have missed it, but I didn't see the warrants accounted for anywhere, they could have already exercised those, or not, we won't know until the 10 comes out.
bank of america has the "all circuits busy please call back later" message.

Apparently, Sackets Harbor Brewing Company is part of some sort of North Country juggernaut of hotels and restaurants (which also includes hometown favourite Jreck Subs). To this point, they have existed as a brewpub only, and have had their beers contract brewed at Olde Saratoga Brewing. They already have a pretty strong following for 1812 Amber Ale and the aforementioned Thousand Islands Pale, and had a pretty decent run with Funny Cide Light a couple years back. They plan to break ground on the new $4,000,000 brewery this summer, and should have sufficient capacity to take on some contract business of their own, which can only mean good things for CNY and the North Country. In other exciting news, Jim Boeheim has signed on as spokesman for both Jreck's and Sackets Harbor brewing!
It appears that the brewing company built a $4,000,000 factory last summer/right now, still trying to find confirmation that it was started, but it was definitely planned. Also a link to the three PR's that regarded NHSP. UFSI only owned 19% btw to all that is interested.
not necessarily integrating Hacketts into every Giant Tiger as much as integrating the smaller hospitality stores. This is all assuming that the Hospitality group has consumer products that could be used for those stores, such as bakeries or restaurants.
If I had to guess, I would think TS noticed during his days of Wisebuys that all of the stores he leased space to did very well with profits. Now he wants the best of both worlds, the ability to own his own set of small stores to integrate into his Hacketts' stores, as well as the ability to integrate his newly found small stores into his ally Giant Tiger and reap the benefits he saw companies like payless reap the past few years. I am very excited about the possibility of 25-30 Hacketts all with smaller hospitality stores integrated under the same company (which would cut down on administrative costs a great deal). 2009 will be a very interesting year. Yes 2009 is the year I am looking forward to.
oh no, sorry it came off that way. I very rarely attack peoples character unless I have to work for them ;)
shoot, my bad, I replied to the wrong poster, it was meant for AP's post
sure, you posted the possibility of the consumer products being sold to Hacketts(assuming it is North Country Hospitality group). I simply added that there is already a relationship between Hacketts and Giant Tiger, and that the cross selling could possibly happen in the Giant Tiger stores as well.
"...tremendous opportunities exist for cross selling and promotional efforts among..."
What is cross-selling? The strategy of pushing new products to current customers based on their past purchases. Just an example - what if every Hacketts had a bakery, coffee and/or sandwich shop? What role would NCH play? One can only guess as to what "cross-selling" is in accordance with the PR.
Can anyone see the promotional efforts? What is SWVC owned "Sackets Harbor Brewing Co."? SWVC news releases alone would get the name, "1812 ALE" out. I like beer... what does 1812 Ale taste like? When will I be able to purchase it at my local grocer? What if 1812 Ale is the next Sam Adams?
Think bigger buddy, what if every Giant Tiger had that as well.
almost 18 million in assets=good
net income is negative=bad
4th quarter not included=good(should make numbers better when it does come out).
It would also be interesting to know how much of the "operating" expenses were the salaries of the three shareholders (Hacketts family). I freakin guarantee you they haven't been working for stock options. It seems they roll the loss into their shareholder value for tax reasons. I would definitely bump up my personal salary knowing its the last year I could do so as well. Just my opinion.
pps x o/s
arca on the bid
he is a really nice guy, way more spun up on greenshift than swvc, but nice and actually informed about the companies he works with, I have talked to him on several occasions already.
o.k. check it out on the news thing. The people that actually predict accurately, have a secret, THEY CALL THE INVESTOR RELATION GUY! He can't tell you what the news is, but they always receive it 24-48 hours before it is released.
Well, it's a weekend and I'm bored, so here is what it is looking like to me. I rarely put out my opinions until I am pretty sure I'm right. I do however lean on other people heavily, but me and Dr. Graham called the end of the legacy debt accurately, called the unknown 60 million shares added as something other than CD (turns out it was the warrants). Now it appears the whole scenario is coming together, and alot nicer than I thought. It appears a long long time ago in a land far away that TS and KK (or just TS) realized that Greenshift was too debt laden to succeed. Greenshift was in effect a "holding" company fro all of the GS companies. TS and KK got together and said "gee whiz man, we got some good companies, but after a bad startup, we are too far in the hole to make any money. Well low and behold, TS has a company that is barely breaking even (Wisebuys) and Greenshift has a company it can sacrifice to become a new future "holding" company...GS Carbon. Now why Hacketts......well, its almost impossible to get a line of inventory credit with a company such as Greenshift, so we can buy a prosperous company such as Hacketts (no one knows how prosperous, but positive is all they need) and this gives us a line of credit as well as a business model for Wisebuys to actually succeed with. Meanwhile after the creation of SWVC a good portion of its legacy debt is transferred back to Greenshift, as well as keeping half a million at a crappy conversion rate. Somehow a deal was made so that all $494,000 was not converted at the crappy rate of .001, but the majority of it was. So now YA is happy, TS is happy, and KK? No one gives away something for nothing, I just don't enough about him to figure out exactly how much money he has made in all of these transactions, but he will make a pretty penny in my opinion diluting the snot out of the dieing Greenshift, with the old profitable GS companies now under SWVC along with Hacketts and Wisebuys.
Summary:
In the beginning we had:
Hacketts
Wisebuys
Greenshift(under Greenshift the following)
GS Cleantech
GS Carbon
GS Agrifuels
GS Energy
In the end:
SWVC(under SWVC the following)
GS Cleantech
GS Agrifuels
GS Energy
Wisebuys
Hacketts
Greenshift:(under Greenshift the following)
Nothing
Now of course as always this is my opinion and I do not think that all the GS companies would come under at once, but I do now think that this will be the end result.
ha very true, but alas I have done neither so...."casts the first stone" :)
not to discredit you, but telling shareholders that we are going to be the holding company of a corporation with 64 billion in assets last year and 30 billion in revenue is at the very least misleading lol.
well, I know they can't give insider information, but they are not suppose to lie at the same time. With that being said, I have called every freakin company I can imagine from zeropoint to all the greenshifts, hell even some that aren't even possible like giant tiger(out of frustration, not actual belief). They all say no to going public or merging. So I am out of ideas on which company it will be, curiousity is killing me. Yes I know they won't say anything if they were planning to come over before anyone points out the obvious. Usually they would just dodge the question or play dumb.
Well, there does not appear to be a PR in the chute today, hopefully another 8k or 8k/a
ahhh k, I am still catching up from being out a week during new years.
I am not sure if they did anything new, or just had it go back to the old website while the new one is reconstructed, but hacketts online is back up.
http://www.hackettsonline.com/default.htm
last time that happened they were posting the previous day PR. Maybe something different though.
it's 100% up since july, which numbers do you prefer to play with? how about 500% down since the peak, 300% up from the low of .005. We can play this game all day long, the stats you gave and the stats I gave here don't mean anything with a brand new company, if you want to talk price trends and appreciation/depreciation please come back in 2009 when the company has been around for awhile.
Congrats to cdnkid and mannyman discussing wells fargo back on 15 nov 07:

just to add, don't get this paul graham confused with the millionaire paul graham from y combinator, two different people. Anaflor Graham is actually the investor, she has her own LLC, under UBS managed futures known as kalkaska partners fund LLC. UBS is one of the worlds largest finance companies out of switzerland. hope this helps for your paul graham question.
unless I'm reading this wrong, it isnt 1.5 million from GGI, it's 4 1.5 million deals for 6 million total. All under the same .10 non floorless CD rate.....I'll take it. Here's a link to exhibit A of the 8k for the smarter people out there to correct me.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/884380/000126912708000002/svcex10a1408.txt
note paragraphs I. b through I. e
I read the same thing travel, 4 x 1.5 million deals, looks like the 400,000 is the prepay portion due within 6 months plus 15 days from loan date. I just got back from vacation (vegas+new years!!!) so I have only had about 10 minutes to look through it so far. 6 million, non-floorless, im very intrigued for next week, we shall see.
All imo:
Dilution from the legacy debt is over. Dilution from the third acquisition, I have no idea. I believe the warrants were exercised on 01 nov 07 and 01 dec 07, the CD's however I am not sure, there is still a lot in play with the third acquisition. I personally believe that the restricted stocks have something to do with the third acquisition, when a company merges or goes public, any common stock owned by the "new" companies insiders is frozen for a certain amount of time, hence it not being in the float. Regardless I believe we will continue to have dilution for a while, but the key to remember is that dilution can be good. If you buy a 6 million dollar company for 3 million in dilution, well that is smart investing. So final conclusion all imo:
legacy debt=done
3rd acquisition= warrants done/CD's prolly not
future acquisitions=hell who knows
I still think this company is a great investment, even though I disagree with anyone who says we will be worth over .20 pps in a year.
Why didn't you get out when you found out about the horrible conversion rate? You could have still broken even if not made a little.
oops, my mistake, I knew it was the 27th, I actually thought today was the 27th lol. ty

any word on the webcast? I can't find it on ceocast website
does ceocast save the online webcast? I went to their website and I can't find the one from this morning.
SWVC wasn't mentioned in this weeks ceocast newsletter. GSHF was, here is the link if anyone is interested, no new info though.

gs carbon corp use to be the name of SWVC before TS bought it and changed the name/ticker symbol
ill give u a member mark as well for that, happy holidays
I think there is actually a good chance of a filing. If I am right and those shares are restricted because they belong to insiders of the new company, that means alot of the transactions regarding the merger are complete. It would definitely be good to hear something before xmas.
yeah I'm not worried, just wantesd the pop to happen before xmas. Probably better this way, I'm spending the new years in vegas lol.
