where does it say freightliner will no longer use mufflers?? and do you know what EGR actually is, it has almost nothing to do with the muffler and will not affect whether a muffler is needed or not.
as long as the girls don't cost too much im happy
glad to see you're back dr. got worried over the weekend
this site helps explain it a little http://www.topspeed.com/cars/ford/index40.html
i gave a bad explanation of what sema was, sorry.its not a ford owned company but ford does use them to personalize their cars.
thats pretty accurate, but you'd be surprised though we see a decent amount of people that add on their own aftermarket parts to their cars, if its a lease they just have to take it off before it gets returned. I would still check with the specific manufacturer though regarding the warranty, before you do anything, some are different or will try to give you the run around to save money
technically although it is "tricked out" it is available stock from Ford, the MRT is part of the Ford SEMA line which is just an extension of their performance division.so yes you can by this car at a ford dealership. I work for bmw so it easy to relate with them, so its like a B7 alpina, or even an M3, M5, or M6, which are part of there motorsport division
I doubt installing this exhaust will void any warranties.usually an aftermarket part only voids the warranty if it causes another part to fail, for example you install a chip and it fries your ecu, or install a new intake system then drive through a puddle and crack a connecting rod.It is very unlikely that an exhaust will cause any damage to another part of the car.
Turbo cars at least non diesels, dont know too too much about them, need backpressure. One reason for this is that backpressure creates heat in the exhaust and contrary to popular belief a turbo spins not based on the speed of the air flowing past it, but based on the heat of the air.too much flow equals cooler temps and less boost pressure from the turbo thus less power.on some non turbo cars, backpressure is used for scavenging, where unburnt fuel in the cylinder stays in the cylinder even after the combustion and exhaust stage, and contribute to the next engine cycles fuel supply, this mostly just helps with mileage though, not so much increased power.
From what it looks like though Aeros exhaust can do both have backpressure when needed and eliminate it when not. if your car is at wide open throttle there will be an increased amount of low pressure created because of the Coanda effect and Bernoulli which will draw out more exhaust gas from the engine.however under normal cruising/throttle conditions there will be less flow and therefore more backpressure.this is how i understand at least, there are several schools of thought regarding performance in cars and none of them are 100% right all the time because each car is designed differently.
yea there will be, you think they'll take a loss at the pps now? it is kinda strange we haven't heard from them since the 8k, but that may just be because the boards been filled with bashers and ppl with no reason to talk, who they dont want to waste their time with.ultimately though from what most have said they're not in it for the short term gain, and a lot knew it may not have been that good at this point.
a lot of it depends on the car, when i was in school for auto we did a few experiments trying to find what exhaust works the best for increasing power. we used a dyno to measure gains and on my car, a turbo saab, the stock exhaust worked better than open headers, in torque and power, mostly because it was a turbo and required the backpressure to make full use of the turbo. On other cars however depending on how they were setup with their intakes and fuel injection systems open headers worked better. Ganassis car because it was setup to be a racecar would have performed better with increased flow because the engine most likely has a camshaft which allows for maximum overlap and thus equals more fuel in the cylinder and more power.not to sure about this part though...but i doubt ganassis car got better mpg while he was wide open on the throttle, however if it was doing daily driving like most normal ppl do around town, he would see better mpg because an engine that breathes better is more efficient, so yes more fuel is being drawn into the cylinder, but it takes less work for the engine to create the power you need,so in the end you use less fuel.ultimately you will get the best of both worlds when you need the power it will be there, and if not you'll see gains in mileage.
pretty sure on all this, if anyone disagrees, you're wrong...just kidding, let me know what ya think
im expecting a gap to 3 cents monday morning, maybe more, then a run from that
Im loadin up monday, thats a good point, why accept shares as payment when you know they will be worth next to nothing and cant sell for a year...keep bashing guys, im lovin it
are you sure it wasn't an annoyed "stop calling me" sooner?
im movin outta florida asap, back up north is the way to go, just like fccn better do, pps =north
he is right hybrid just means the combination of two or more sources of powered most submarines are hybrids and are sometimes nuclear-electric
its the reverse psychology theory, say subpenny and expect green
so then derb who should i invest in if fccn sux as you say it does i could use some tips from someone as knowledgeable as you
07 m3s are 333hp with the 335 at 300hp, so pretty close, but the M3 is a lot more fun to drive, next years M3 will be at an amazing 420 hp, but the diesels will be available in the X5 and one of the 5 series...dont think thats an official public release yet though, ill put in a word for aero exhausts!
I work for a BMW dealership and we use a linux program that requires caps SORRY about that, our cars dont get the greatest mpg so we're looking for ways to improve it, such as the turbo 335 and 535 and next year we're going to two diesel models
I'M ALL FOR AERO AND HOPE THEY DO WELL BUT I DONT USUALLY TRUST AUTOMOTIVE CLAIMS THAT THEY ADVERTISE WITH THEIR PRODUCTS,EVEN DYNO CHARTS AND MPG STATISTICS CAN BE MANIPULATED TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER THAN IT REALLY IS
WELL EVERY OTHER TIME EVERYONE SAYS ITS ABOUT TO SKYROCKET EX. 10K AND MERGER PR IT DOES NOTHING OR DROPS, SO IM TRYING SOME REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY< OR SOMETHIN LIKE THAT, COME ON PPL WORK WITH ME
I LIKE THE PLAN WHAT ARE WE GETTIN
DRUNK OFF?
I SAY 1.9 TODAY AND SUBPENNY AFTER 8K
quick question
I'm new to investing and trading, this is actually the first stock I've bought, I only have 20,800 shares in,wish i could have more but i bought all i could,im only 21 so i dont have a huge cash flow yet.id like to hold on to this stock for awhile but was wondering what signs to look for to see if the pps will drop or be raised. I'd like to try and make some sort of profit as the aero pps is raised by selling and buying on the way up.any tips? I try to do a lot of my own DD but im not always sure what the info i get means.Im not trying to get any shortcuts, just need a little help, Thanks in advance!
