Are they going to have the product look exactly the same after the new owner takes over the quoting service? Will my real time charting on Alphatrade stay exactly the same with the same chosen chart parameters without my having to remake the thing post transfer of ownership on March 31?
Thanks in advance.
How's it go? Volume and then price? LLLI huge volume yesterday.

0.23 is a real resistance spot for sure now. Hit 0.23 HOD so far today at exactly 15:00. What can you say about them apples!
.175 to .23 in 2 hrs 50 mins, it's volatile with a capital V.

What "they" have done with the repeal of the uptick rule is they have now reversed underlying forces of the stock market. They have made it to where it now seems as a luxury provided by hedge funds for a stock to rise and stay elevated. Most mutual funds don't short and have become at the mercy of shorting hedge funds. The fear of opportunity costs are the mole hill up against the mountain of the fear of losing actual money, ergo there is no competition and an uptick rule is extremely important to the legitimacy of a stock market. They are currently killing the goose that lays golden eggs.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
It keeps taking hits like the 68000 on the bid trade but keeps coming back up which makes me think there are still shenanigans going on to mask covering using panic stricken longs coughing up shares at losses. I think many shorts would like to cover but are so greedy to try to get it back down there around 0.11 again but they need to be denied the grandiose satisfaction.

HFT'S are wreaking havoc again with YRCW. The ten thousandths of a dollar trades began to show up again. Is that to try to limit the damage to their short covering again?
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Yes, it's annoying but little silver linings on the clouds, of which the following is an example of, keep me adding on the dips here.
YRC Worldwide - furious comeback?
Posted by Editor in General on 07 14th, 2010 | No Comments
The U.S. transport giant YRC Worldwide has a good chance to free itself from its own resources from the risk of bankruptcy. As the company last Monday announced that it expects fiscal second quarter 2010 earnings on an EBITDA basis of up to 45 million U.S. dollars. be recorded in the first quarter, a loss of 53 million U.S. dollars. Although the share price - probably in particular by massive short interest - last seemed to express something different, the characters at YRC are now green. The cash flow was in the period April to June, a positive result and the general economic upturn is likely to affect the transportation business especially positive. In addition, companies in this industry traditionally recorded in the currently ongoing third quarter, the strongest results.
The recently announced sale of the Logistics Division disgorges significant liquidity into the coffers of YRC. Fresh money the company needs but also urgent, in order to actually restore a sustainable and competitive to establish or to maintain market share or even hinzuzugewinnen. Only recently, one was sentenced to pay 21.6 million U.S. dollars to creditors, which late last year refused to participate in a debt-equity swap. Exactly this, however, assured at least short-term survival of the group.
What is clear is behind YRC is substance. 2008, the group drew still responsible for nearly 9 billion U.S. dollars in sales on the stock YRC currently has only a value of about 240 million U.S. dollars. The still listed on the Nasdaq stock was more than a Zock. Should the development proceed as hoped for by management and how it, the results of 2nd let quarter suggests, is a refurbishment of its own resources well imagine. A multiplication of the stock price, currently around 0.23 U.S. dollars to about one U.S. dollar within the next few months we are excluded, regardless of short squeeze scenarios and a possible reverse split for no - after all, the share price already beginning to almost the same level. At that time the outlook was rather worse than today.
This apparently came from a German analyst.
Good luck to you.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
You are steadfastly appearing to fail to provide the name of the brokerage you use to short this stock that is trading thus far today in the teens of cents range. It certainly is not a secretive brokerage is it? I originally surmised it was Interactive Brokers.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Am I a lone wolf crying in the wind? If it is possible to short a stock trading in the teens of cents and that stock is on the NASDAQ system then has the circuit breaker failed? Call the SEC and notify them of a possible failure on July 15, 2010 with this stock of YRCW.
While you have them on the phone. Remind them of the consequences that occurred from removing a critically necessary 70 year duration uptick rule.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
YRCW is a NASDAQ stock STILL!!! What about the INDIVIDUAL circuit breakers and this stupid lack of an uptick rule to curtail abusive shorting!!!???
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Bollies getting extremely tight and that means one thing, a break is coming. But, one doesn't know which way it will break until it breaks.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
I did not short but I added in the low 0.18's. Who are you using to short such a low share price stock? Big collateral involved usually with such a low price. Maybe less collatral if you are using a firm that is on the watch list of the SEC for "naked shorting". Naked shorting is killing the US stock market.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Great article but the typo is grating the author big time, I bet. JBHT earnings are due tomorrow and not July 13, the day that article was published. Good luck.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Don't thank me. You didn't get my shares to cover your short of 15 percent gain. Somebody else coughed up their shares to allow you to cover. No mind though, the market is rigged for shorts to have gotten a huge advantage, destroy the credibility of the stock market and win since the repeal of the uptick rule. The only way to beat the shorts is to ask for stock shares in physical form, use GTC's, use a non margin account, and tell your broker to not allow your shares to be lent out to the parasites known as shorts. Parasites draw their life blood off their hosts. No hosts, then parasitic behavior stops, by definition.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
0.19 VS. 0.197. Never know really what range they will accept as an intraday double bottom.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
You bet. The MM's need to position themselves accordingly and are relatively running out of time before JB Hunt reports earnings tomorrow. If it's good then transports should run.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
I just wish I knew which probable hedge fund was responsible for the high volume low time span red one minute volume spikes. They are sticking out like sore thumbs and would be an idiot if they were a long liquidating shares. They are either a naked short, a short, or a crafty, wily long accumulating more shares while hiding the accumulation as making it look like sells/shorts on the chart. The latest egregious example was the 2.7 million share red spike in the minute chart at 14:10. Who are you buddy, I would like to ask?
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Microworld sees the one million shares shorted or dumped at 12:34, around 700,000 shares at 12:46, around 600,000 shares at 13:00. Macroworld sees the overall trend is up so far from the beginning of the short squeeze. The only thing that really makes shorts cover is a persistent ratcheting RISING PRICE that is carried along with support of a bid. You have to make that rising price become unbearable to them. Now I have to grab some lunch.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
The big shorts are bugging me! Some presumed short sold/shorted another nearly about 1 million shares in one minute's time during "lunchtime". A similar trading pattern hit late lunch yesterday. How do you compete with that when there is no uptick rule? It's easy to get GTC orders going but the real driver of panicking the nakeds and hunting down the naked shorters is through requesting your physical stock share certificate and that is very hard to get going.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Snag those shorts!
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Me thinks too! Are they gluttons for punishment? Those 19 million new shorts look desperate. Instead of all trying to cover, they short more? Massive gambling it appears.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Did you use Interactive Brokers to short this stock? Is your short in the 19 million plus shares that were shorted today or are you an older short. I see you have been an Ihubber for barely a month now and you seem to post a lot like a short. Good luck here.
Is that fuzzy logic? You said YRCW has no potential because "the production in states is well behind the imports!" Logically I guess we are to now conclude JB Hunt at around 35 dollars per share is next on the short list for a near bankruptcy. NOT!
Good luck. Should you cover now?
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Nice. And, CNBC, reminds me of the following where Jim Cramer called YRWC a nightmare short last autumn when it was earning around 2 dollars and then ran to the 6.18 over three weeks which was an earnings multiple of 3. The key to YRWC's future is to avoid bankruptcy at all costs. Do not BK and destroy your shareholder base. Do not let Carl Icahn and other bondsmen come in and take over the company because we will lose and the bondholders will throw us to the wolves like they did in CIT Group. Even the preferreds were prematurely thrown to the wolves. I was a preferred that was tossed out. Go YRWC and slam the phone down on anyone you perceive as a bond directed or bond associated company "raider".
You Can Still Ride With YRC Worldwide

You see stocks like YRC Worldwide (YRCW) run, you know that it's been up pretty much every day since September began, and you say to yourself, did I miss it? Am I too late?
If the recent history of plays like this pans out, you still have a lot of points to run. Here's why. In the last month, the old Yellow Freight, the largest trucking company, has been able to undo some viciously bad labor agreements and credit agreements. In doing so, it avoided bankruptcy. Just by a hair, but it avoided it.
Until it got those agreements, which occurred at the beginning of the month, YRCW's survival wasn't assured. In fact it was pretty much of a given that it wouldn't make it. Which is why one-third of the company's stocks have been sold short.
But these stocks are binary. They are fabulous shorts if they don't solve their problems. They are the world's worst shorts if they do.
YRCW's solved theirs. So it is now a nightmare short.
Mind you, we have no idea what the normative earnings power of YRCW is. In the old days in a solid economy, I would have said it could earn $5 a share in a boom and $1 coming out of a slowdown. But that's when it had labor agreements that were about $1 billion more costly than they are now. So maybe you could argue it could earn $2 a share coming out of a recession.
Now, you start thinking, hmm, $2 a share, sells at $5. Who knows what kind of multiple you should give a company that was losing money hand over fist that can now survive? You can't give it the multiple, say, of Con-Way (CNW) , which is 30 times earnings!
But surely it is worth more than 3 times earnings.
So why stop here?
Of course, you could say, wait a second, the balance sheet is still terrible.
But I would counter with the following observation: If the company were to sell 20 million shares right here, it would be able to pay down even more debt and be even more valuable. We are in virtuous-circle mode.
My conclusion: You missed the bottom. You haven't missed the top. And the higher it goes, bizarrely, because of the ability to re-liquefy, the more valuable it becomes!
Random musings: Just so you know, our sister site has been doing all of these great articles about these low-dollar companies, and when I see them I try to puzzle over them, because it is certainly where the action is.
At the time of publication, Cramer had no positions in stocks mentioned.

The squeeze continues? They must have not been so eager to cover at the prices today as they were waiting for it to go down further today rather than finding that it went up another few pennies instead.

This is ridiculous. Not even the finra.org home page is loading for me. No problem with many other sites loading today. Very strange. I will work on it later. Thanks.

Yes, I thought it would be a big gapper myself. Maybe the shorts thought the near 100 percent gain was enough to induce selling pressure without a huge gap.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Is that link only operable after 5:30 each day? I get an error message right now when I try to open it.
Thanks.
Thanks. Day 2 of the squeeze is very strong considering a near 100 percent gain for the latest 2 day old newcomers. Very strong.

The overwhelming amount of trades to the ten thousandths of a dollar difference have the high frequency algobots types of entities trying to cover lower than where we would want them to cover.

Appreciate the effort but that is shortsqueeze.com. Not up to date enough. We need someone really connected with more recent data.

MSO Jan 5 calls at 40 cents. MSO continues to stay in the above 5 range where mutual funds can add. Lot of changes in this company's business model weighting of the various types of revenue streams leading to a nicely welcomed increased diversification. An under 10 dollar pick of 2010. This webcast will give an idea of how much its business model has changed lately.

JMHO DYODD GLTA
MSO broke and held the $5.00 mark today after the slow multiple weeks dwindle down out of usual mutual fund buying territory from around that previous run to 8 dollars. They give a premarket presentation this week at the UBS event. Good share price build up prior to JPM conference last week. They have gotten themselves headed on the right path to diversify so they aren't tied so majorly to print revenues now. Nice profit margin for the part of the company that is licensing. MVL was a big grower based on the licensing model of growth. Doesn't seem like it would take much to spark a short squeeze in MSO. They even have options available to help smooth out the risk from the big volatility that can come from the relatively low outstanding share count. There seems to be a very good size short position. Some Forbes article has been reported as saying any kind of positive news could spark a big short squeeze. The Home Depot team up with Martha Stewart is looking like it will be a winner and a bit of fresh air since they are finally exiting the Kmart stranglehold. Good luck.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Anyone watching MSO? After their initial big spike up to around 8 dollars on the Home Depot news, they had a slow slide down below that critical 5 dollar level and today they just closed at 5.19. UBS premarket presentation coming up. It may be worth a look.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Yes, it looks like they know how to run the company without loading up huge on debt like their competition does. They can better capitalize on opportunities when ships happen to be cheaper. NAT also has the double hull ships that China wants used as the only ones delivering goods after January 1, 2010, I believe.
JMHO DYODD GLTA
Thanks, I will check them out.
