I'm well acquainted with SGLB's industry contacts, CAGR of the industry, etc.
And those are very positive, no doubt.
But the days of 3D printing stocks making moves like they did in 2013 are long gone.
Today the market is rallying big as Alcoa kicked off earnings season with a solid Q1. What are 3D printing stocks doing today?
DDD - 1.5%
SSYS - 0.4%
XONE - 3%
ONVO - 2.5%
As far as BIAD goes the $1M in revenue in the 8-K will be coming from Sysmex Corporation in Japan. Their market cap is in the billions $USD.
But that's not the point- it was just an example. People were "investing" in 3D printing stocks in late 2013 based on misinformation and media-driven hype. That's no longer the case and stocks in the space will trade based more on fundamentals which is a good thing. This is nothing new. In January of last year I had an article (as 3D printing stocks were hitting all time highs) that those without the fundamentals to support their valuations would "strongly underperform". And that's what they've done, and continue to do today- even as the market is rallying big.
$ADMP Adamis Pharmaceuticals I've been buying the dip from secondary. There's a good article on the company out today from TheFocusedStockTrader.com that has given me permission to post here.
ADMP Report
My take on SGLB..since it's a topic here apparently
I first wrote about SGLB when it was just under .03/share and I still have those shares.
However, my enthusiasm for Sigma Labs has been tempered greatly by delays in commercialization and the overhang of the $100 million in funding they're looking for. When I wrote my first article on SGLB I pointed out that the share structure was an issue. Since then it's had further dilution and additional dilution is likely pending.
3D printing stocks went crazy in the summer/fall of 2013, and I was writing about them prior to the parabolic moves they made. They are now being valued based on earnings/revenue and not hype which is exactly as it should be.
SGLB has a market cap of $40 million and revenue of $322,000 for the last 9 months. Is that a justifiable market cap? Only the market can decide that over time... not me, not any single individual.
For the sake of comparison, look at this 8-K from BIAD filed in December (with no press release)
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1370030/000118518514003407/bioamd8k121914.htm
A biotech stock that appears to be on the verge of receiving $1M in revenue, with no debt, that hasn't diluted for the last 3 years, with a market cap of $5 million.
There are others out there like this of course. But I think it drives home the fact that if 3D printing stocks are to be valued based on fundamentals, the moves we saw in 2013 are a thing of the past.
I have trimmed back both my position and expectations of SGLB based on delays in commercialization, slower than anticipated revenue growth, and probable future dilution. This is true for almost all stocks in the 3D printing space, not just SGLB.

Good read. I especially like:
"Davis also told CNBC that promising strides are being made in enhancing the immune system to fight cancer. The trick is that cancer can often deceive an immune system, says Davis, so the body doesn't think the cancer cells are foreign.
"We're asking how our normal defense mechanisms can take out cancer cells," the CEO said. "Why can't they?"
Davis says because of advances in genomics and biology, there are drugs in the pipeline and already approved that can boost your own antibody system. He says the body's own cellular structure can identify cancer agents as foreign, and your immune system attacks them.

SRNE is still an unknown immunotherapy pharmaceutical stock that (IMO) has great potential.
I wrote about the stock in December at $8.60 @ http://microcapresearch.com/sorrento-therapeutics/
My guess is a handful of people may have discovered the 8-K they filed on 12/17.
No press releases, no IR firm, only 1 market maker, so still unknown.
Heck, I just made myself the 8th BIAD board follower here, lol.
Nice. They'll probably do well.
If you like unknown penny stocks- check recent 8-K filing on BIAD.
No pr, but expecting $1M revenue to hit with Sysmex deal. Market cap only $4M, lol.
All out now.
Had a nice move from $8.14-$8.20 buys...but stock will probably double now that I've sold, lol.
$RMTI up another 8% today
Sold remaining 50% of position- all out.
Adding ZGNX on today's pullback for January 30 PDUFA.
Private placement closed, raising $1.22M at $1 CA.
Public records on Sedar show this was the same group of investors (Numus Financial) that brought Graphene 3D Lab public last year at .25/share.
Those .25 shares apparently have never been sold (at least not that I can find) and they've now invested at a 300% higher price.
Might want to ask yourself why they would do this.
$NEFF down 38% in two weeks more than makes up for the exposure to oil/gas industries.
The exposure is in rental of equipment to these industries.
Has US production slowed- has demand for equipment in these industries suddenly stopped? As far as I can tell we're going full speed ahead with highest production rates in 30 years due to natural gas fracking.

Also- Debt addressed with IPO proceeds. (see S-1)
Use of proceeds includes a paydown of principal loan scheduled to mature in 2021 and to repay part of a revolving credit facility scheduled to mature in late 2018.
It is amazing technology, I agree!

Apologies on the $20 figure- you are correct- it priced below the original range.

A lot of exposure of this company in my neck of the woods (Tampa, Florida). I see their trucks and equipment all the time.
Williams %R at -100 now.
$NEFF - November IPO @ $20 now very oversold in $7s

Nice news this morning

Already have, and it's on my ticker list.
Alan and his son John are friends of mine, I've spoken at several of their 3DP conferences, and I've invested with them in their (unrelated) 3D Printing and Technology Fund. (TDPNX)
My interest now is writing on my sister site at MicrocapResearch.com
$SRNE: One of the best technical traders I know, Harry Boxer, has some insight on the chart.
"Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (SRNE) looks like it’s in a nice set-up as the bull coil tightened ever so slightly but steadily. On Wednesday it was up 34 cents, or 3.5%. If the technicals can hold up, then this stock could still be a 13-14 dollar stock. It could happen in the next few weeks or the next few days."

I am.
Bought another 2K in $5.30s and will add more over coming days/weeks, irregardless of short term moves.
There are some stocks I trade short term, and some I build long term positions in- this is the latter for me.
Intel bought 1/3 of the company at $5/share. Downside risk from here is mitigated and in all probability limited to Intel's investment level.
My average is under $5.45 now and if I can get that to $5.20 or so in the near term I'll be very happy.
Congrats!
Beautiful trades.
I trimmed back my position to 50% of original also.
$SRNE potential catalyst next week
I don't ever expect much from investor conference participation in terms of short term share price response, but this one may be an exception.
At the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference next week, Dr. Soon-Shiong will be explaining (for the first time) details about Conkwest's Neukoplast technology platform and the exclusive partnership among Sorrento, Conkwest and NantWorks to develop and commercialize "CAR.TNK" (Chimeric Antigen Receptor Tumor-attacking Neukoplast) Cell Lines, the next-generation "off-the-shelf" adoptive cancer immunotherapy.
see pr: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/conkwest-sorrento-nantworks-announce-presentation-140000836.html
To date, there have been no real details re: relationships and JV between Conkwest,(privately held), NantWorks (Dr. Soon-Shiong's privately held company) and Sorrento (SRNE).
I think that will change next week with Dr. Soon-Shiong's presentation. Because the partnership with this trio is a material change for SRNE and it hasn't been fully explained to date, then I expect the company (SRNE)to provide details of the presentation to the public as well.
Track back for article I wrote...
Has more to do with technicals/short term trading.
I don't buy 3D printing (or biotech) stocks based on fundamentals.
When there's fear in the market due to an offering it represents a good short term buying opportunity.
Warren B. said:

I like CAAS personally. It just filled a gap (see two year chart) yesterday and today.
They pay a dividend, and have the GEOInvesting seal of approval as the real deal:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2243353-china-automotive-systems-rare-and-undervalued-chinese-industrial-success
lol- not sure I'd call it a nosedive given the gains this week.
The Form D filing had some guy tweeting as though it was a new offering, when all it is is completion of the Intel 1/3 buyout.
That's how desperate some of the shorts are.
Downside - despite what happens today or tomorrow, is almost certainly limited to $5 from here.
Upside- with a record Q4 followed by another record Q1 being "givens", plus JV with INTC, + NASDAQ upslist = a double from here by eoy IMO.
I've been gradually easing back into $ONVO over the last few days.
have largest position in it now since back when it was OTC.
$VUZI- added a few @ 5.57
Want to average into good position in next few weeks.
Can't imagine it getting under $5 with Intel buying there- but anything's possible I suppose.
Yes, I like them. I'm still in the 3D printing space, and love seeing the technology advance, etc. but to be honest... my partner and I have been doing so much better with stocks at our new site MicrocapResearch.com http://microcapresearch.com/articles/
If it were not for the green from the picks my partner and I have written about there, my account would be in shambles with what 3D printing stocks have done lately.

Here's where I think Vuzix could make big $ this year.
Launch of the V-720 mobile gaming platform
As a gamer, this is something I'd buy.
"HD 720p displays with a large field of view that is said to be equivalent to a 130" screen viewed at a distance of 10 feet"
Oh, yes, I'd buy it!
http://mikeshouts.com/vuzix-v-720-mobile-gaming-platform/
I like CAMT and ARCW here, yes.
DDD- drives me crazy with the number of acquisitions they continue to make. The botObjects yesterday still has me scratching my head.
$ZGNX- added also at $1.31.
Hit pretty hard today with rest of market.
Agree that wearable computing is next.
Once they get these glasses to look more socially acceptable, the sky's the limit with the consumer market.

$ZGNX + 3% on red market day to $1.48
Historic strong resistance at $1.50 could be broken in next day or two- if it is, stock should head much higher.
This is why I think it breaks $1.50 as PDUFA January 30th nears
http://microcapresearch.com/zogenix/
Congrats. My dca is $8.60 and I'm just going to hold this one.
I think $20+ by eoy is realistic given current market cap and new direction in JV with NantWorks.
