I'm gone. Like a steam locomotive rolling down the track, I'm gone, gone, and nothing's going to bring me back. I'm gone. 06/29/2023

It is also possible that the level of activity with wafer fabs isn’t nearly what some fervently believe it is. Ockham’s Razor.
I saw you ask about United Healthcare Medicare supplements through AARP on another board.
We have used their Part D (prescription drug) coverage for several years. It covers the drugs we are prescribed (be sure any plan you choose specifically covers any drugs you take) and can be used anywhere in the country (important for us because we spend half the year in Virginia, the other half in Arizona).
Our regular supplement (Medigap) is with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona.
Hope this helps.

Hi Janice,
It will probably be a while before you read this but please know I’m very sorry for your accident and hope you can quickly and fully recover.
You can’t keep a good gal down!
Koog
You should worry about the goo yielding a profitably manufacturable device before you start saving the world.
I can argue with none of what you posted.
Now the appropriate question: Can anything possibly be done (damn the politics) to turn this around? Or is the US destined to be in the Coffin Corner© regardless of any actions taken, after so many years of fiscal malfeasance?
Yeah, and I fear you are right.
Just like your erroneous assumptions about Lightwave’s future, your assumptions about my portfolio are incorrect. Not surprising though.
My impressions on the new Trulieve dispensary in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
It opened on 10/1 and had the grand opening yesterday. I visited this morning shortly after it opened.
The town has had only one dispensary since medical legalization (we have medical and recreational now). It only lasted a couple of years and was not a good dispensary. The closest decent dispensaries were in Tucson, a 1.5 hour drive away. Trulieve opened their new dispensary in the same location.
The facility is very open and well appointed. There is no separate waiting room where you have to wait before being let in to the sales area. I was told that this was the only Trulieve dispensary that is recreational only (I don’t know if this is nationwide or just for the state). That didn’t matter much except that I had to pay a higher tax rate than if it was medical.
There are TONS of discounts available. !0% off (over 65) + 22% off (veteran). As a new customer, three BOGO (buy one get one free) on any item which can be used over time. Plus a free eighth of top shelf if you spend over $75 on your first visit (which I did).
I ended up buying five 1/8 oz packages of various strains. My total bill due was $106 after I received a whopping $124.48 off in discounts.
All in all, I am very happy with the new dispensary. The bud tenders are a bit clueless but they are new and I’m sure will learn a lot over time. I will return.
Oh yeah, the products: I like sativas and the 5 strains I bought range from 17.5 to 25.7% THC. It is not yet 4:20 so I haven’t tried them yet.
Mastodon farts!

The new Trulieve dispensary in Sierra Vista, Arizona opened Oct. 1. Their Grand Opening is today. I plan to check it out tomorrow and will try to post my impressions.

Yep, the company and fans of the company would have you think that it is “easy-peasy” to throw some polymer into the mix at a high volume semiconductor fab. It is just a matter of time. Yeah, over 20 years of time and still ticking.
Just give them another 20 years. It will still be ticking if the clock hasn’t broken by then.
Trulieve ready to expand into Sierra Vista (Arizona) by end of year

Hello Sevens, on the way to the Fives and the OTC.
No, not to him/her.
But those organizations’ raison d'être is to promote photonics. Their very existence hinges on keeping the “photonics soon” dream alive.
Let me know when they present to SEMI or apply for a standard.
I did not say that. I do not know what Lebby plans for show and tell at the conference.
I DO think the company will fail to be commercially viable in a high volume wafer fabrication environment. That is what I said and that is what I meant.
I say again.
If it doesn’t work, it is not impressive.
If it doesn’t scale as a commercially viable process is a high volume wafer fab, it is not impressive.
This is a discussion on an investment board. I’ll leave the lab experiments to scientific journals.
