sounds like nasd telling them that 3/19 record date that they pulled out of thin air doesn't mean anything, but still doesn't say anything about what happens to 1-499, 500 plus,

IF however, you buy this through a full sevice broker I have heard that it does work, and I assume it is because that full service broker is gonna request certs for each individual no matter how many there are. online brokers don't do that, but you would have to find out how your online broker handles any trades where there are more than 1 buyer.

lets say 10 peop buy 101 shares, td lumps you all together and requests 1,010 shares from TA, they get 1 cert in street name for all, and pass them out to their clients, you are not a cert holder at that point. if you request certificate then yes, you will be a cert hoder.

does with tdamtd, they are the cert holder in "street name", that is the cert that gets rs and round up. I am a shareholder, if more than 1 peop buy it and all tdamtd gets is 100 then therew's not enough to go around

you sell shares that are fronted to you and the deal goes south they will take them back and you will be short and they will force a cover within 3-5 days, you really want to be in that situation, I think not.

companys usually don't have a clue whats going on, talked to IR guy and he said it was his understanding that if you didn't own it before 3/19 you get rs'd 1-500 period. they don't even know what an xdate is
