Those $2.81's are a nice pick-up. I wanted to see what would happen early here today. I'm planning on doubling if it drops to low $2.80's (or lower) again today.
Well, I believe I got what I wanted. Got TVIX $2.85's going into close. I held back some cash just incase the dow tries running to 17,300 again. My belief is I'll be in the green tomorrow though.
Short attack on SARA this morning?
MNGA news that the acquisition is complete.

Per that list from the mining awards in the DRC, that is pretty sad for Banro. I don't know anything about the other companies, but as that list shows it doesn't appear Banro was even a finalist for any of the awards they were nominated for. I guess I shouldn't have expected much, but for as much hoopla that we hear on this board about what Banro does for the DRC, etc, etc...it seems like they should have at least been a finalist for the social investment award. That tells me that all of these companies do something, and what Banro does is not considered all that special or significant (at least compared to their competitors).
Bought my TVIX back this morning PM. Looking good, considering an up day for the markets so far. I was really hoping that we'd see $3 (or lower) again sometime, but that doesn't appear to be considering the markets had a pretty good week and TVIX never went lower than $3.18.
MNGA - I'm not sure if I'd refer to it as an Ebola play or not, but it was mentioned toward the end of this PR in helping destroy medical waste.

MNGA News - Not sure it will amount to much, but I guess it's something.

I haven't found anything either, and that involves going to the other nominees websites and doing searches for news on them to see if they had any PR's on awards they won. So far I've got nothing.
I was starting to believe that this might be one of those secret things too. But here is my question for you. If that is the case, are all of the attendees to the gala required to sign some sort of form to stay silent?
In addition to that, are they allowed to act for personal gain? What I mean by that last question is what if, hypothetically speaking, that Banro won all 5 awards they were nominated for? I realize that this is probably IF I knew that before any investor that wasn't at the gala, then I'd be loading more BAA then I could afford knowing that those awards would bring more investors in.
TVIX or BAA tomorrow? I really think I had TVIX going lower today until the shooting in Canada. I was watching carefully...thought about adding $3.20...then BOOM...literally.
Anyway, BAA looks like .16/.165 might start heading back up. Question I have for you is what you think gold might do? If gold is going to go back above 1250, then I think BAA is where I should put my money.
I think you are right, unless of course there is positive news. Today was disappointing for many of us share holders. Being that the offering of the common shares was at $1, I feel that this dip will at least take us to $1 barring any positive news that might come out.
If $1 falls, it's tough saying if we'll just touch .97 and bounce, or if we break through and see .80 (or lower) again. Luckily for me, I've been in and out of MNGA a few times, and for the year I'm up more than what I'm down by holding. I still truly believe this company is on the verge of very positive things, they just need some positive sales or contract news. I just don't like having 25-30% of my account tied up into one stock for so long.
Good luck on your re-entry.
MNGA - I sure hope so Newsguy. My buddy just told me that same thing, wondering if there would be a follow-up PR. Let's hope we see something else today!
MNGA - Not sure that makes any sense to me. Dilute to buy a company? Somebody share with me what this is a good thing? I really thought we were turning the corner here.
$BAA - Gold at $1254 right now. Could make for another nice day in BAA and other miners.
MNGA - A disappointing afternoon. We'll see what these last 15 minutes bring. Hoping to at least get a $1.30 close, then hopefully some news tomorrow after the open.
I need .31 to break even. I'm honestly not worried about it. But if I can take some profits now, and then reinvest on a backtest it will only help me better my position long term. I have some shares from January/February that I'm holding regardless.
OK. That is what I was going to ask, where do you expect this to drop to? I have some .14's that I can make some nice coin on. Just wasn't willing to sell if the only pullback I was going to see was to .17 or so.
My SARA at .65 didn't fill...had an all or nothing order though, also I don't have L2 available right now, so there might have been some others in before me.
B A A looking very nice today!!!
$BAA rolling. New HOD.
$MNGA - Go baby go!!!
$MNGA news would be great. Volume looking pretty good in the first 20 mins of trading here.
MNGA - I agree with ray that $1.30 would be a fine entry. I know AF has been watching the 8x34 weekly chart though, so he'd probably say a safe entry is on a break of $1.32 with volume. Depending on how much you are looking to buy, you could always buy half or a third early on, and then either add on a dip or once the pps has hit a trigger for a breakout. The charts look good, and the daily 8x34 will cross tomorrow.
$MNGA - There are only two things that I can see being the reason for investment. Either ESSI was big enough to be "serious" competition and MNGA wanted to eliminate them, and/or MNGA is 100% (or close to 100%) confident that they will need this extra space for upcoming growth. They have so many things in the works!
Every time I think about MagneGas, I think about this. A good friend of mine turned me onto MNGA. He's no longer in (he caught the sub-$1 run up to $2+ earlier this year), but he was almost within daily contact of Ermanno Santilli. My buddy text messaged him one day asking about some upcoming information, and he received a text back that said, "All you need to know is that MagneGas is going to take over the World".
Right off the top of my head I can think of 4 or 5 things (game changers) they have in the works, and I believe that the capture or a significant PR in any one of these can send this stock well beyond $2 or $3 per share. Can you imagine if they got (or released a significant PR on) 2 or 3 of these, or perhaps all of them?
Anyway, great DD done by $oldier Hard and Newsguy1 is frequently shared with Orions. For those not in, it's worth a look. For those in, lets see what Monday brings!
MNGA - I always struggle reading those legal documents...LOL. Honestly, I didn't even see there was an 8K filed. I had seen on Yahoo there was an 8-K/A, but when I opened the link there didn't seem to be a whole lot of info, but the info there just made me assume that it had to do with the purchase of their new facility.
Anyway, I've now read the 8K, and maybe I'm wrong but am I understanding that MNGA basically bought out ESSI? If I'm reading this right, this is great news to me and the rest of us MNGA longs. The only way I see them doing this is if they are 99.9% confident their business is set to explode in the next 6-12 months. As we know, they have many "irons in the fire", and to now make a facility purchase and then also a lease agreement on another facility in just the past few weeks, that tells me something is brewing.
MNGA - Yeah, someone loaded up. I normally don't wish for my weekends to go fast, but have to admit I am very excited for Monday.
I'm not worried either. Was tempted to add those last 5 minutes into close, but figured I'd better sit some cash over the weekend and watch it on the open Monday. I still have my .70's, so it'll either go up, or I'll be able to position myself better if it does get driven down. Have a good weekend!
Shorts drive down SARA today? I wasn't really expecting the beat down given oil was up.
$MNGA - Almost got our $1.31 close. Moving nicely these past couple of days. Have a good weekend!
$BAA - I'd say this week has been a runner too. Anyone who bought last Friday at close has ~30% gains to today. Needs to keep on running!
Where is a good entry on L E I if not in already? Do you think that gap to .37 will fill?
Amen to that! I normally don't like news on a Friday, but it looks primed to do something good with the overall markets up today.
$SARA - The bid keeps on creepin' up. Still a .04 gap between bid and ask. If you're right about the shorts, maybe we'll see that $1 range today?
$MNGA on the move. Go baby go!
$MNGA - I couldn't agree more. Put the news out around 10am eastern time.
Sure wish MNGA would close at the HOD sometime. No news today, but things sure got rolling this afternoon. The 8x34 daily looks great. Could cross tomorrow on a strong day, but almost hope that tomorrow just brings a slightly green day, close at the HOD, and then set up for the 8x34 cross on Monday morning...then at that time I'll take PR on the sale of the hog manure sterilization unit.
Yeah, I thought $1 seemed realistic too. I like the way the 8x34 chart is setting up. Bought someat .70 a couple of days ago on your alert.
