meaning no disrespect but it seems you are confusing effectiveness with efficiency, and cost savings is a function of efficiency
your example is getting at the convenience factor of speed, given the heating environment specified, but is not looking at energy in as electricity divided into energy out as heat in water (efficiency)
My main question is how can they overcome the power loss in taking electricity and producing microwaves. I am not convienced it will heat water cheaper than existing tankless water heaters.
luvtohunt, your insights are appreciated - yes I am late to this part of the EXS discussion.
One thing that may be different from the negotiations in which you have been involved, assuming that those dealt with fairly straightforward future projections, is the ability and in fact need to take future contingencies into account (if resource/reserve is at such level when at preliminary feasibility study, then . . . etc. and adjustments to terms of payback for carried interest through to production, etc.). I guess that is just saying there are even more variables due to all that is inherently unknown about resource/reserves.
There were many analysts that thought the premium Goldcorp gave for Andean was excessive, but they were only looking at released Ni 43-101 info whereas the companies negotiated based on their own models and projections. But that was a buyout offer. Negotiating an on-going relationship provides room for ways to make terms contingent on how some of the future uncertainties actually turn out.
Hi elcaribes - while I have much in agreement with your posts, and feel that EXS has languished for way too long with a very nice stable of properties but running on fumes trying to prove that and simply cannot continue this way, refilling and emptying the treasury repeatedly at every greater dilution factors . . . etc
I do feel there is a slight error in your saying such as
Why is it that as gold and silver have surged over the last 30 months and most gold & silver stocks are near their highs that EXS is at its 52-week low.
Anyone know what Lake Shore had before they invested and what the costs were?
I believe that CD bought approx 1.3 million shares earlies this year
Hi, in AZ also . . . you will find a lot of coverage of the Holbrook basin story once you get to the Az Geological Survey website, then the state geologist's blog. What you will not find covered there is the set of issues surrounding the choice between the two extraction methods.

I am surprised no one has posted - Friday off ?
I sure wish I could buy down my avg cost with the pps as it has been, but sitting on free shares I have not yet been in the mood to increase exposure here, but I am still holding.
What Robert has created, via the Single Cavity Unit, is the proof that moving water can be heated in such a way that it can be done more efficiently then has ever been done before
my bad - go figure, two Pascals !!
guess it is not so curious of a happening now - thx for clearing that
adios W (for now
That is both an interesting and curious tid-bit on Pascal.
See you around Wrinkles, and good gains to you, understand your take on WDRP.
thx rfizzle well presented and quite helpful.
Your effort is appreciated.
I mostly agree with what you have expressed, except imo Wanderport was dragged into it not just due to Andrew, but at the time it still had Amyot listed as director (or was it VP) of communications in the company info at OTCmarkets.
Also I am of impression the only hearings in Nov are for those that asked to be heard (Wanderport did not). So anything about actions of Wanderport in those hearings would only be tangential as information coming out in those hearings that will review actions of the respondants. After those Nov hearings, if charges are to be pressed, there may be actions against any of the named parties, whether they responded or not.
JMO but that is how I have understood that aspect.
But, my original post was to Sunspotter asking why Ryan and Ollu were being mentioned, as I have seen nothing that connects them and Wanderport. It seemed to me they were being mentioned only in relation to the other company covered in that same CTO. per
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=68410621
I actually had gotten the impression that those two were being named in connection with the other security/company with which the CTO was also dealing.
I am aware of the connections of Ryan and Ollu with the others, but where were they involved with Wanderport (other than their association in other "projects" with the others) ?
Thanks Tony. So from that description, it sounds like the water is all kept in the lower chamber area, meaning that the transformer above is not heatsinked with a waterjacket or other heatexchange to the the water flow.
From all the research I have found the reason that the many patents for microwave based water heaters have not resulted in commercialization to date is the efficiency issue, which at heart is the need to drive the magnetrons in the 2 to 3 kilovolt range, and the losses involved with that which include heat generation. To go for efficiency, capture of that heat is one thing designs I have seen tried. Sounds like that is not included here.
I really wish Wanderport would release some numbers !!! otherwise we can talk of this all we want but as investors we are just flying blind. The graphs (with blanked out parts) released from the single cavity unit did not help either, I could not determine for sure but it looked like they were only focused on efficiency of microwave absorption by the water, and resulting temperature rise, and did not focus on the important line consumption of power compared to energy absorbed by the water.
FYI

AMF in Nov if I recall correctly appeared to only involve hearings for those that had requested and were involved in the most recently past hearing . . . which would mean any further action involving Wanderport's potential need to mount a defense would be after that.
So that pushes into Dec at earliest.
Per my post of early yesterday linked above, it is not just the 400M @ 0.10 incentive question, but the coming months AMF and the January publication of the earliest patents that will be telling for this story.
Sure, there are near-term items, like website, healing or not with Dave M., PRs walking cautiously around the state of things (or continuing lack of them), coming out public with what is apparently (imo) material information provided at the M&G (I see no news PR'd as of yet), etc..
IOW will the mgmt style change, or continue to rely on partial information, rumor, uncertainty, etc. or will it move toward transparency ?
Well, I guess I am in a better position to chuckle at it (but I am not) from sidelines. I just cannot see why they have the app at this stage (except one of their kids is a crack into that tech) but they do.
I have no idea what you are saying.
I posted a jpg I snagged out of the version of the doc I downloaded when it was released. I had never seen numbers different until your earlier reply.
As for moving . . . I am still not convince the water issue has been solved. Seeing shipment of concentrate beyond what could have come from the stockpile, decline work, etc. would go a ways to making me more comfortable.
gv thanks for your input, and these added observations, well made.
I have been there also. My problem is I worked for quite a while at a leading US research university, in the engineering college. It was not at all uncommon for a researcher to have a concept and need it fabbed into a one-off, get refined, circuit boards designed and made, etc. and get to second generation put into use on some ion-beam device or other exotic. Usually the whole was in under a calendar month and a couple man-weeks of time in fab.
After I add in factors like, one part-time person, low to no budget, 5 or so components to out-source for specialty effort, it is still pretty hard to get to so many years.
With the above background, to me one real kicker is the WAPP application. So they have a microprocessor, with logging storage, sensors and their operational thresholds etc. all figured, or at least envisioned, sufficient to have the iPhone and Android apps, but they don't know how close they are to having a mcmhu that functions fully ?
I just can't add that up.
not ready to fade away from the technology that wdrp has in hand.
but the eod painting did remove more than half the decline for the day
not to worry.
there must be different versions of the presentation.
here is what is in the one I save at time of release
http://i44.tinypic.com/1zd2lpg.jpg
Anyway, this stock is imo not going to move until there is proven history of concentrate shipments month over month - but that is probably almost done for the season with stockpiling until the runways are good next year (?)
JMO
Here you go Tony, let's go into business
http://knol.google.com/k/microwave-water-heater#
Seriously, after looking over all of the existing patents for microwave water heating, time to market will be of the essence, so we better get going on it. I'll take all the easy parts and let you have the tough one of figuring boosting to a couple/few Kvolt to drive the magnetron(s) without killing the efficiency, OK ?
One thing that I do not understand, maybe someone knows, is why was it (apparently so) important for this meeting to take place in the US, when having it in CA would have been so much more convenient (i.e. for Andrew, Robert, and given plane connection selections possibly shareholders) ?
Did that get headworked but I missed it ? Passports is the only thing I recall being mentioned . . .
TIA
Thanks for that info Tony, and your early posts especially before your drive. Was there any info on temperature rise at what gallon per minute with the 4 magnetron design ?
I put myself through an experiment some 30 years ago, while studying Buddhism, with the task of learning how to go for weeks without using "I, me, my, mine" in day to day speaking.
As I have gone through posts this board the past weeks, seems it would be a good exercise for some to try to avoid using "if, maybe" and other speculative, conjectural terms "when, what if, perhaps" etc..
Let's just stick to the facts.
On the electrical requirement
I also have been hoping for news on a relatively standard amperage 110 volt point of use unit. One thing Robert said in last email with me was that the unit getting put together was the one for outdoor installation which I took to mean point of entry multi-cavity. I am still holding hopes of a point of use that does not require exceptional rewiring (and 220v high amps below sinks!!)
Fidelity just accepted a buy order (which would open a new position)
May be.
I keep thinking Robert would see 400M shares at 0.10 as a larger incentive, freedom to fly to a specialist, etc..
That part makes me wonder at the time that has passed.
One thing to remember, I think we figured out that two of the patent applications should be past the 18 month wait by the end of January.
Thanks again.
Thank you Winkles. Very much appreciated (and GM to you too)
I will remember, whenever someone again uses that phrase in a post "maybe they" . . .
Good point Lexit, however there is a flip side, namely more misrepresentation in info provided to investors (and to only some of them ?) which may be the basis of some allegations (wonder if I worded that neutrally enough for the board?)
that is pretty strange
I get to buy in Fidelity with unsettled cash any time.
I just better remember not to try selling before the cash used settles.
lol - ya really
no, I only went so far into the download to see what accesses it wanted to claim within android - figured my water is hot enough already
for android yes, just go to marketplace and search on Wanderport, two downloads come up as published, one with the Wanderport logo and one with the Freedom logo
Confirmation Bias- is . . .
So you are trying to say that those who posted that Andrew had said the unit was completed but would not be demo'd reported what they heard rather than what Andrew said ?
I wonder if that will be how the defense runs in CA someday JMO
aren't you assuming anyone can trade WDRP ?
did that little bump in the road get cleared up ?
the app exists, you can download it now
the doubt you should have expressed is if it works
since without a unit to control . . .
but why would I want to connect my water heater to the network ??
waiting is so much fun
the android app wants some odd permissions, like record audio and take pictures ? know one's (fine grained) location ? etc.
Robert does not, nor does he care to, drive the agreements with any other 3rd parties
