Remember Terror Train???? I did not make this up. This is an actual cut and paste.. Check it out.. The poster looks awesome.
Hey Wowsa can we get it posted on our site?
hey, everyone! 16 more crappy remakes of horror movies!
Yeah, guys, shortening the title that one extra word sure fooled everyone.
From movieweb.com:
Co-chairs of Family Room Entertainment Randall Emmett and George Furla stated: "We are very excited to be re-teaming with Steve (Whitney) and Andy (Trapani) on another horror remake. We are also thrilled to be working with Maverick Films, who bring an extraordinary depth of creative resources."
"Suspense on a train is a classic formula that's been relatively unexplored in recent years," said Andy Trapani and Steve Whitney of Integrated Films and Management.
Mark Morgan of Maverick Films stated: "Maverick has been looking for the right picture to collaborate with EFF and Integrated for some time. We are excited to start with Terror Train and believe this to be the first of many to come."
"The first of many to come"?
Oh, shit.
I'm so pissed on Jamie Lee Curtis's behalf. All of her horror films from the '70s/'80s have been remade, shittily so far (I'm looking at you, The Fog and Halloween). Although Thora Birch is awesome and I want to slap her for this, I suppose her response would just be, "THORA BIRCH GOTS TO GET PAID, GURL."

That is the exact reason I bought into this.. Very good speculation.. Actually not too much of a speculation, its just when... And I will keep buying. The next pop should bring us to a new low of .50 minimum.
Just thinking about schools for the kids and bathrooms for all of us.. What city are we all moving to???
Hope it has great schools..
I have been searching for 2 hours now.. Can't find anything positive.. Can anyone help??

Simon West to direct Iraq invasion film “Thunder Run”
November 14th, 2007 by admin
The pic is based on Pulitzer Prize-winning Los Angeles Times correspondent David Zucchino’s nonfiction book on the April 2003 Iraq War battle.
West is also producing along with Freedom Films and Emmett/Furla Films.
The director said that he had decided to turn the book into a movie because Zucchino’s tome ‘was one of the great accounts of modern warfare’.
“When I first read Zucchino’s book, I realized immediately it was one of the great accounts of modern warfare: heroic, exciting, tragic and ultimately political,” The Hollywood Reporter quoted him, as saying.
“I had the same feeling when I found and developed ‘Black Hawk Down’ with Jerry Bruckheimer.”
Zucchino, originally embedded with the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division, found himself accidentally switched to 2nd Brigade of the 3rd Infantry Division as it entered Baghdad in what the military calls a “thunder run.”
David Zucchino will also pen the screenplay.
Simon West Productions’ Jib Polhemus acquired the project and will produce the film with Freedom head Brian Presley, Randall Emmett, George Furla, West, Vance J. Owen and Lawrence Abramson.
Executive producers on the movie are “Black Hawk” writer Ken Nolan, Emmett/Furla’s M. Dal Walton III, Freedom’s Lisa Kearns, Thad Luckinbill and Kathryn Foster. (ANI)

Eight more films to die for

Issue date: 11/9/07 Section: Diversion
Thrills! Chills! Blood! Guts! Naked people!
The film event, the After Dark HorrorFest, returns this year with eight more movies to die for, covering all the bases for horror films - no-budget films, slasher movies, spooky stories and many more. From today to through Nov. 18, the films (The Deaths of Ian, Nightmare Man, Crazy Eights, Unearthed, Borderland, Mulberry Street, Tooth and Nail and Lake Dead) will be shown in more than 350 theaters nationwide. No matter what scares you, the films offer plotlines to keep anyone up at night.
While the movies may run the gamut in terms of their content, the budgets of the films put their range to shame. Jim Mickle, the writer and director of the zombie film, Mulberry Street, went into production with just $20,000, a budget that created some issues when Mickle tried to shoot the movie in New York City. CRAZY, BUT IN A HOLLYWOOD WAY
There should be more to this story, but it doesn't show up on film
By Roger Moore
THE ORLANDO SENTINEL
Put a long enough beard on him, and darned if Michael Douglas doesn't become the spitting image of his dad, Kirk.
Put him in a beard and turn him loose as a mental patient, and maybe we have an idea of what Kirk's long-planned-but-abandoned version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest might have looked like.
A little too cute.
King of California is an indie version of a Hollywood clichŽ. The mentally ill aren't so much ill as differently gifted. They just see the world in a more magical way.
Douglas plays Charlie, a single-dad jazz musician and dreamer fresh out of a couple of years in an institution. His plucky daughter, Miranda (Evan Rachel Wood), has spent the past two years slipping between the cracks of the state's safety net -- on purpose. She's about to turn 17 and has been out of school, supporting herself by working at McDonalds, faking her way through car purchases and other adults-only decisions.
It's not much of a life, but it's the way Miranda likes it. She's solvent, even if she is barely aware of the education, social life and everything else she's missing.
Enter Charlie: "Couldn't you just try calling me Dad?"
She won't. Not in her narration, not to his face.
Because he's still a big kid. He has used his institutional years to prowl the Internet in search of buried treasure. Charlie has an idea where the lost pay-box of a 17th-century explorer, might be. His behavior is erratic, if not manic, but it is infectious. Charlie is able to drag Miranda and her dwindling patience and cash reserves along for the search.
Flashbacks tell us just enough about their past together, Charlie's depression, his jazz days. Maybe he was suicidal, once. Now, he's all charm and eccentricity, seducing lady cops, luring fellow jazzman Pepper (Willis Burks II) along for the caper.
Because that's where this is taking us.
King of California doesn't do enough to suggest the price Miranda has paid for her father's failings and her own poor decisions. Wood, a good actress, has too little to play. She's merely put-upon. She should be furious, lonely, mourning the life she didn't get to lead. A love interest might have helped.
But King of California is all about the King, waving his metal detector, wild-eyed, donning a scuba suit in his quixotic quest.
It's fun to see Douglas chew it up like this. But in the end, there's nothing more to this King than an adorable loon in search of doubloons.

The American Film Market attendees wrapped up a businesslike week with record numbers, had a ball at the pool parties and left with high spirits, despite strike
“The writer strike will not affect the business,” said Avi Lerner, chairman of indie giant Nu Image, which bought Focus Features this year. “Thousands of writers that are not part of the guild will get their breaks and we will buy scripts from them.”

Death Wish remake on the table
MGM is planning on remaking the 1974 Charles Bronson flick, Death Wish, about a vigilante seeking revenge for an attack on his wife and daughter. And who better to fill the lead shoes than Sylvester Stallone, who is in negotiations for the part?
Age is nothing to 61-year-old Stallone, who has recently been reprising the roles that brought him to fame with Rocky Balboa and Rambo. No word yet on how the writers' strike could impact this surely dialogue-heavy film.

Rocky star Sylvester Stallone is reportedly in talks to step into Charles Bronson's shoes in a remake of 1974 revenge flick Death Wish.
According to Variety, the Rambo actor is in talks to direct and star as an ordinary man driven to vengeance when his wife and daughter are attacked.
Stallone saw a career resurgence with last year's Rocky Balboa, which grossed $150 million (£72 million) worldwide and is set to revisit another of his classic characters in the upcoming John Rambo (though the movie's name has changed several times).
MGM told the trade newspaper that a remake of Michael Winner's vigilante movie adhered to their long-term growth strategy.
"We are looking at our library to determine which potential franchise properties make the most sense for us to produce, and Death Wish was clearly one that jumped out," said MGM chief operating officer Rick Sands.
"We hope to get a deal done with Sylvester Stallone to direct and star, and like the Rocky and Rambo films, we see this as another potential franchise for him."
Terminator 3 writers Michael Ferris and John Brancato are likely to script the Death Wish remake, though the production schedule depends on the duration of the Hollywood writers' strike.End of story

Disney, Pow Entertainment ink multi-year deal
1:09p ET June 6, 2007 (MarketWatch)
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Walt Disney Studios, a unit of the Walt Disney Co. , said Wednesday it has entered into an exclusive, multi-year first look deal with "Spider-Man" creator and producer Stan Lee and his production company Pow Entertainment Inc. . Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Under the terms of the deal, Lee and his production company will develop and produce all forms of entertainment, Disney said.
I thought I was the only one who remembers MEMI
Its turning into a shell game
" They did announce a new company. They also announced that Furla's brother was going to run it. More money going to the family. I believe the new company was going to be in charge of films $5 million and under."
When they get all their money from Rambo and it should be 5M or better they will pour it into something like terror train or the snowman. Then they can hire each other and ask some new share holders for more money. I think thats the way out of this.
Too bad Rebel Girl didn't invest a boat load... We would of seen the light... to heaven.
I cannot say that I have seen it all but that would be a new low. They to go to the pinks and see if they can get a buy price of .0000001 then Furla could buy the whole thing for $200.00 thats 2 Billion X .0000001 = two hundred bucks.
These guys are pretty special.. As long as they stay in business I don't have to take the loss till I decide. At least after Rambo is released.
Do you really think this is going to be a penny when the company isn't even correcting the dreadfull "E"????
I see .0003 before too long.
Had to walk away from my computer yesterday when I read your comment.
FYI
I will post the 50+ feeds that I get on FMLY as well as all the characters that are associated with them, if it is relevant.
I have a great assistant who knows as much as I do about this company (Wowsa) I am positive that he will back up everything that I have stated.
Gavinz1970, has also have been in this for a long time and he is a great knowledge of this company..
Do you know something we dont?

Michael Douglas' treasure hunt yields fool's gold

[bIf you're looking for buried indie cinematic riches, keep on digging. The clunky "King of California" leaves you with all the satisfaction of hitting caliche in your backyard.
Writer/director Mike Cahill's debut is a zany father/daughter bonding comedy with flashes of brilliance that turn out to be fool's gold. It twists the "Freaky Friday" concept of reversed responsibility roles between a parent and child along with a "Da Vinci Code"-like treasure hunt. The plot is ridiculously outlandish rather than whimsically fascinating, and the characters are too inflexible to convince you they're real people.[b Uncle Joey and Danny Tanner on the sitcom "Full House" had more depth.

***Caliche may refer to:
* Caliche (mineral), a hardened deposit of calcium carbonate.
* Caliche (linguistics), a collection of slang words unique to Salvadoran Spanish.

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro Reunite
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are teaming to play New York police investigators hunting a serial killer in Jon Avnet’s $60 million thriller “Righteous Kill” for Avi Lerner’s Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films. The independently financed feature written by Russell Gewirtz (”Inside Man,” the upcoming “Labyrinth”) unites the longtime friends on screen for some 90% of the film — unlike their one shared scene in Michael Mann’s “Heat” and no shared scenes in Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather Part II.” Lerner and Randall Emmett closed negotiations on the CAA-packaged project late Thursday morning during the festival.
Emmett said the actors had long been seeking a project on which to work together and that he acted as a catalyst to get the duo together. Lerner talked to producer Art Linson and De Niro, now filming the Warner Bros. Hollywood comedy “What Just Happened?” to help move the new project along. The film reunites Pacino, Avnet and the two production companies, all of whom collaborated recently on the thriller “88 Minutes.” The producers of “Kill” are Lerner, Emmett, Avnet, Boaz Davidson, George Furla and Alexandra Milchan. Danny Dimbort and Trevor Short will serve as exec producers.
De Niro is repped by CAA and the Firm. Pacino, Avnet and Gewirtz are repped by CAA. Lonnie Ramati negotiated the deal for Millennium Films.

De Niro And Pacino Finally Starring In Film Together
Cop-thriller 'Righteous Kill'....
By: C Taylor on Saturday 27th Oct 2007
Apart from one brief scene in 1995's 'Heat' the acting legends have never appeared alongside each other on the big screen - but cop-thriller 'Righteous Kill' will change all that.
Producer Avi Lerner tells Hollywood Reporter, "You see these two legends on screen together for virtually the whole film, something never seen before in the history of cinema.
"It's one of the hardest deals we've ever done putting these actors together."
Filming is already underway in New York's Brooklyn, with the final film expected for a spring release.

So what happened??? Did Stan leave for an extended vacation/die?
Or did Disney fold up? Volume today at 1,000 shares???????
If you were in it as long as me you could say that.. The main thing that has hurt the company is production of not so stellar films that distribution companies do not want to pick them up. The only one (I can recall) that went wide release and made a bunch of money was Amityville Horror. But they sold the rights for some 450K but held onto the remake rights for a future release.. (BIG DEAL)
Then they did at least 3 huge dilutions and some really bad finance deals that kept this thing on a steady slope down.
Most people who have been in this for some time have losses in excess of 98%..... Now there could be a bounce if they would disclose the profit participation in Rambo.. Probably somewhere around 5% after all expenses are taken out.. Maybe 2 - 3 Million.. That wont do anything for this sorry thing.
Got a link on that one?
At least my GOOG has been doing well but FMLY???? so far not...
I don't see any trades today.. What are you looking at?
I think the market is confused...... We have a winner here....
I am really excited now.... back to penny land???
First thing I do not remember them doing a RS except maybe when they took over the stock when they purchased the development oil company that they bought back about 8 years ago.
Do I think that a RS is possible.. YES I would say that its 90% chance.
I have been in this for more than four years. Is FMLY a bunch of crooks? All I do know is that Emmett sold most of his portfolio some time ago and Furla keeps buying.. Why??? Because its sub pennies on the dollar and it looks good. I remember all the hype with all the previous movies that went the way of the cutting room floor and then they got repackaged and repackaged to see limited releases. Personally they have nothing to loose because they made some stupid mistakes by selling their sole to the Devil over and over again.
I did real well back on a stock called Dan River and bought a heavy load of them at .58...... Sold everything at $5.11 and made the mistake of buying FMLY.. Sure wish I didn't. But is it possible... Well more like being struck by lightning... LUCKY..
I have Ameritrade and it is showing .0004 on the bid and .0005 on the ask
also with the "E"
