SWOMI did not work. It was trash.
No, I didn't buy this one.
I once made decent money on a scam. That doesn't change the fact that it WAS a scam.
SWOMI was a scam. Remember?
Oh my.
I'll direct. I've always wanted to spend six months or so in the Caymans.
lol, as you know, I was the BIFS "basher". And as you also know, I was right. lol, heard from the Jayster lately?
Captgain55 and Janice ,are you the pro Bifster Janice or the Basher in the end?
For what, pray tell?
It was set in a ring. Perhaps excessively flashy. But definitely fun.
Ooooh. The one on the page you linked is beautiful! I like the blue-green ones, too, but I've never seen one that wasn't color enhanced.
I've never seen any large pinks. lol, but I HAVE bought semi-precious stones from a guy who adds a "gift" of tiny heart-shaped pink cubic zirconia. They're cute, but I have no idea what to do with 'em.
I will take a 1 Carat Pink cost around 2 million bucks :)
The answer to all three is "no". The shares you buy are your shares. It's up to Ameritrade to get affirmative determination.
But, is it possible to buy naked shares without knowing? Is it possible of me buying these shares with Ameritrade? If this scenario does take place, what is the end result of my naked shares? 3 questions actually, hehe...
That said, there's no naked short position in any stock with as many shares out as CMKX.
Damn, I thought we were talking about the guy who accidentally shorted CMKX.
Damn, wish I'd bookmarked the site, but a few months back, a jeweller was selling a 12 carat diamond on Ebay. I think the start price was $250K, not too bad, maybe. I think it was certified. It was just unbelievably gigantic.
All rare colored stones are very expensive too
I only wish I'd known that diamonds existed in other colors--except of course yellow, like the Hope Diamond--twenty years ago. They weren't popular then, and didn't cost all that much. Now they're very popular.
You can still get some on the cheap, but they're mostly the nasty opaque green ones, called "marble green". Yeah, they're diamonds, but ugly as sin.
I want a cognac diamond one day....they're gorgeous.
No, dear.
and is it possible for me to have obtained some through Ameritrade?
Ok, so if I have naked shorts, what does that exactly detail?
It would entail your putting up a really staggering amount of margin to short CMKX without actually borrowing shares.
Forgot about Wayback. Try here:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.webnode.com
Don't seem to have more than the opening page...
What is Webnode? Link? EM
Whoever was once paying for hosting of webnode.com has stopped. It was, after all, a long time ago. But you can find out about it on Google. Very successful April Fool's joke. In fact, we even got into the Top Twenty in the April Fool's Jokes hall of fame.
LOL!! Be a great scene for The Movie...
They advertise their product, not their stock. Advising people to buy one's stock is a major SEC no-no.
Most companies advertise, nothing wrong with that.
Think they'll find any black diamonds? Black diamonds are cool.
Huck, LOL!!
How much is it Janice, to put out a PR?
Depends on how much coverage you want. When we put out our Webnode PR with Bizwire, it cost $250. That meant that we got full electronic dissemination, but it was faxed only to the SF area. That was the cheapest option. And it was 1999.
My understanding is that it costs a good deal more now--about $1000--but I haven't checked it out.
What were they? Please reference a post...
Janice, can you possibly answer my 2 questions about the naked shorted shares please?
The whole thing may have bothered the SEC. Including that stupid ad.
ps. i am not commenting on truthfulness of NITE rumor. may be true. but it shouldn't reside on the company board, posted by UC (purportedly). didn't this bother anyone? unprofessional? and planned?
The pink one is a beautiful color. But once cut, none is gonna be very big.
Look at the colors in these stones below along
with sizes
March or April 2003, I think.
When did Melvin start working for the company? EOM
Nonsense. The only people posting there were longs and momo players.
UC's message board may have been a trap to link organized bashing groups to MMs and brokers.
Reminds me of a funny story...
The thing I dont understand is that retailers are unable to short microcaps...
A few years ago, one of the BIFS longs decided to take some profit when the stock went over $2. In her excitement, she miscalculated and sold a lot more than she owned. In a matter of hours, the stock crashed back to 75 cents.
She had the sense to cover immediately, and made out like a bandit.
lol, I'll bet Mr Lobster wouldn't be very agreeable to "training and supervision".
But what's the suit about? I must have missed something.
Maybe you should take a look at NPCT as well as reading the complaint and simply accepting it as truth.
I learned several things about what goes on behind the scenes when I buy or sell a stock that I had not previously known.
For God's sake, it doesn't cost $30K to put out a pr. WHERE do you people get these crazy ideas? And I very much doubt it had anything to do with an apparently non-existent "friendship".
Uc sees $30,000 or so as very little to spend on a pr in order to savor friendship and like having him as my ceo because he is a shrewd buisness man which results to being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.
One or both could also be selling for Urbie.
We have watched Jeff and Nite sell endlessly... what you may not realize is that they could be selling short for themselves...or they may have one or more clients doing the deed...
btw, "rgm" used to be an officer of MDMN. Nasty mining stock whose CEO got involved in one of the Bermuda Short prosecutions.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but it hasn't been demonstrated that any of the companies listed in Berlin were shorted naked there. In fact, the Exchange says they don't allow naked shorting.
Did you buy shares less than three days before Friday? If you have a cash account, and if the shares you bought earlier hadn't settled by Friday, then you are indeed short.
I sold 2 Million shares on Friday afternoon and now I am riding free shares, but today I looked at my portfolio through e-trade and it says that I am short 1.5 Million shares of CMKX!
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Melvie's said he's never met Urbie. It's not like they're boyhood friends, for God's sake.
Some people don't get it or don't understand real friendship and loyalty. I have no idea what those 2 men have been through.
Um, what is, then?
I would be mad for not selling it all @ .001 but the money there is not my goal for this stock...
That's definitely a possibility, especially if Glenn will be reporting to him. Even if he won't. Koch would naturally want to know that his money was being spent wisely.
Maybe the firm got sent over to CMKX by Emerson Koch???
No, of course not. I just thought it was an interesting site.
The certification process is very important when determining actual value (and insuring). However, it's not an issue until it hits the consumers hands.
Addendum: I don't think Glenn was hired to go after "shorty". He's not a litigator.
I disagree. As many have pointed out, any half-decent lawyer can help with a relisting on the OTCBB, the company's stated aim. PPs are more complicated. Yes, most securities attorneys could draw up the papers, especially if the company already has the investors lined up.
But what if the company needs to find potential investors with deep pockets? Private placements seem to be one of Glenn's specialties; perhaps he knows some investors or investment groups that might be interested.
I think the law firm was hired chiefly to raise money through a private placement.
You never did come back on what you think the law firm is doing, its the only reason why I got a ticket.
