You would probably lose, arkie, it is number 6 that I picked. It is the ninth race in Oaklawn. (Race#9) Don't bet the nine.
Just a thought, Capt_Nemo, could it be that the reason that the chart is not lining up after [ ] I did the pre/pre bracketing is because there is 4 digits in the first column that got messed up in the Mar-May quarter and the other quarters have only 3 digits with the percentage sign. If so, is there a way to set the tabs to allow stocks that make 1000% growth?
Ken
No, Arkieboy, that is race number 9 in Oaklawn. It is the first number pass the . that is the chosen one. It is good to see you again. I am having a difficult time posting my charts. They seem to break up upon entry. They look good in the preview window, but fall apart during the posting. Maybe its because the stock that is falling apart has 4 digits plus a perrcentage sign and the other columns have only three. I hope I can figure it all out. See you I will be betting a dollar or two.

Since I can't figure out how to post my charts properly, perhaps I can properly submit my handicapping thoughts. I was once a professional handicapper known as MosesKnows believe it or not. I still maintain my 60% win average with my top two picks. After saying that, I wonder how I'll do today.

Why do I post so many numbers, you ask. People like to know what other horses are available for the trifectas.
See you and I will be working on fixing the charts. I just don't know how to do it yet.
Ken
Capt_Nemo.
You can see by the chart that I posted on HarcourtBrace for M&M man that it isn't supposed to fall apart during the posting stage. Is there something that I am doing wrong. It looked proper in the preview window before I posted it. Then, when I posted it, it fell apart and spread out in some areas.
Thank you for your help, and may the force be with you.
Ken
Help, lostcowboy, TC.
I have posted this chart several times on my message board and have previewed it. It looks wonderful in the preview, but when I submit to post, it messes up. What can I do? I use the brackets properly? Here is the chart. It probably won't mess up for you since I mentioned it.

Both of these penny stock are at their 52 week highs according to Barcharts.com. Quite a contrast. The biggest problem with penny stocks is that there is not a lot of history to go on, though you can still find a time where growth is most acceptable from the historic point of view. I really think revolving quarterlie tell a much different story when you study them. Though, if I placed my monthly charts beside them, you'd realize that much of the time great advances happen during just one month of the year and it gives the quarters that it is caught in a very high percentage.
When you look at a chart as I do, you wonder why people would even consider placing their hard earned money into a Certificate of Deposite for 3 months, or 6 months, or even a year. What a waste of time and money. Who keeps that extra money that your investment makes once the banks pay you your feeble 1.5%?

Hello, MDA posters.
I come as a visitor from a nearby message board offering my view on how to locate a trend, and a ready to buy or sell stock. I used another stock that is at its 52 week high. I look for repetitions in historic trends to determine when a stock is ready to grow. I use a ton of "what ifs". I offer this for your feedback. I am very proud because I just learned how to post my charts on the message boards with disolving into a dozen different directions. By looking at this stock HITK, can you discern when it would be most apt to begin its climb, and its fall?

Hi, Raven.
I hope you don't mind me posting a chart that I created on your message board. I did it a few minutes ago. It is up-to-date as of April 11, 2003. You'll notice the quarter with the April total of this year and should remember that we are only a few days into April, so all quarters that relate to that specific 2003 quarter will change while the month is still in session. I did a stock that I got off of Barchart.com. It is Bed Bath and Beyond. The stock is at its 52 week high right now. You will notice from my revolving quarterly report that every time this stock has a good finish in April, it has a terrible finish in June. This is how I search for when stocks are do. I invite you to my message board at your leisure.

I finally learned to post my charts.
Or, most of the format anyway. Still don't know how to do it in color, yet. but, I'll get there. I did an example chart of General Electric today. I did two actually, going back to 1981 to get the first for a contrasting study. See what you can tell about the trends in these quarterlies.

What a find you are, cowboy. What an absolute find. I hope it works that way. I did try to do as you said. We shall see. I plan on doing some really good charts in the coming weeks, I invite you to help me do them correctly.
Ken
Hi, lostcowboy, you're the best. You're just the type of person I need to help me run my board. I don't know diddly about message boards. You're a genius. You could make mine successful. As it is I feel like the flower in the desert wasting its sweetness on the hot dry air. No one can see the board because I don't know how to explain myself clearly enough when they see one of the charts that I am putting on it. The chart you did for me is magnificent. You probably already know that my charts will not be seen in the Wall Street Journal, the Investors Business Daily, nor any other professional magazine. It is too powerful a tool for the common folk to have. When my chart first reaches the hands of a viewer for the first time-when he prints it out and really looks at it- he gets excited, then he gets mad. For then, he realizes that someone told him to hold a stock all year long, and that cost him money. It also means since I have only a high school education, those in the business knew of this type of information long ago, and didn't tell him to sell when it was historically due to fall, and habitually fell. Come to Ken's Quarterly Report often, Cowboy. Be my mentor.
Ken your student.
Hello, yourbankruptcy. My chart is a revolving quarterly about the stock that interest me that day. I liked what the WSJ said concerning AMD. What I do is take the close of each three month period, each year and determine when the best time to buy and sell the stock really is. When you see a quarter for example of Apr-Jun on my chart, the top portion means that you have to go back on the bottom portion to total that quarter. April to June so far has very little information to glean from it since it has only a few days of trading in it. Historically, it looks like it is heading into deeper water towards this time of the year. As you can see by my graph, or table or whatever you want to call it, owning a stock for a whole year is dangerous. At least it is for most stocks. I didn't post this stock on my message board, Ken's Quarterly Reports in the free zone, but I was excited for your board. It could grow fairly well for a couple of months. You have to compare a few other charts to get the feel of how to utilize them with your own tools. My charts are just a "What If" type of situation. I hope that it has helped. I am learning to post these charts after spending some quality time in the Learning Computers message board. Those guys are great teachers.
Ken
Is AMD going to grow with the news today in the Wall Street Journal that its chips are what Microsoft wants? I hope so. Here are the particulars for AMD over the past few years.

Did this work out any better? I wish I could get the color to come through. It would make the presentation much more dramatic. I did Avon because I live right down the street from it here in West Chester, Ohio. It has a penchant for making profit during these months heading into summer.

Thank you, Matt. It was a real battle on many fronts to do this. I can only get better from here on out. I always modify. Always recreate.

Hi, HealthSouth board.
I just learned how to post my charts on the message boards. I have been having a heck of a time. I am at Ken's Quarterly Reports and the info would come out confused. This is the time for medical stocks to bloom. This is the stock that I placed on my message board for today. Medquist. Health stocks will be big for years to come. I hope this doesn't offend you, not being about HealthSouth. Note the April totals will be until the 9th only.

Here is my pick for the quarter of April to June. This is one of many, but I am placing them on as I can do them. I try to set an amount of how much I desire to grow and then sell before I take a loss, and I impose a stop-loss of -10%. I hope I can place one a day on here, but I work long hours now and these take me about 35 minutes each. This stock is called Medquist. It is a stock that habitually blooms from the April to June quarter. Tell me what you think.

Matt, with the help of TC and Lostcowboy and the great guys at Computer learning board, I think that I might have solved my problem of placing my charts on the message board. I hope this fairly demonstrates that there is a time to buy and sell a stock according to historic records, and your own wisdom. I am happy to see visitors finally coming to message board. Tell me what you think of this, Matt.

Thanks TC. Your and lostcowboy are really a blessing. I will post an example chart if I can on your board. I think I have to move my words around on the chart so that they aren't merged or something. See you in a bit.
ken
Thanks< Mystic One. We'll have a blast posting here. There is no hidden agendas on this board. Facts don't lie. I love that thing about the
and thethat is neat. I don't quite get the chart thing though. See you and post all you want.
You've got to be a genius, Cowboy. You've got to be real high up in the brainwaves to think up this kind of high tech stuff. For all I know, I know nothing. And, I know you're right about everything you just said. With your help I will stumble on and succeed in this endeavor to turn America's retiring masses around. Thank you so much.
Ken
I use RoadRunner a cable provider for my internet. You did a wonderful job, TC. Don't be too modest. Thanks to Lostcowboy for steering me to you. If there is ever a stock that you want me to check, just email me, or place it in my private stash. Thanks again.
Ken
TC, you're a wonder. That is exactly what I was looking for. That is my chart exactly. Except the colors indicating losses and pluses. How did you ever do it? How can I put it on the message boards with other stocks that have more meaning now then a bankrupt stock? Way to go, TC.
Ken many thanks.
That was the chart, sort of. Maybe table would have been a better word for what I do. I sent you INTU and showed you why I told every one to dump it in early March, and they told me where to go. Now, they wish they would have listened to me. I hope that you can open the word document that I sent.
Ken
Looks like it pushed many of the numbers over anyway. Sorry. I will try again when I learn more. Thank you so much for your help.
Ken
TC, my charts look sort of like this, not like a graph. I had to clear out many of my formats to get it to work here. It is a chart of Ames Department Store. My aim is to show people that there is a time to buy and sell by historical fact. In this chart, I tried to show that Jan-Mar never lost any money, even while the stock went bankrupt. If I didn't clear out my formats, the words in the chart at the bottom would push over my numbers into different rows. I will give it a try.

No, arkieboy, this is a wonderful tool, but it is still a graph and not a chart. Maybe mine is called a table.
no, arkieboy, that is a graph. My charts look like a table sort of. I sent you several in the email. I hope that you get it, my friend. You and lostcowboy are doing an amazing thing for me.
