CJ many thanks, I've been around, just been reading and waiting for the news.
Looking forward to it
Sorry, just one more thing on FB as we are doing analysis on it, it's been said that at that floatation price, it was trading at 100X earnings!
So maybe in the short term, it will come down to maybe even as low as $10 or less even. Then it will be worth buying!
A reality check on tech stocks is important, very important. It's good that is has happened to only one stock, instead of the entire market crashing through the floor like last time!
Now, hi techs really only move on solid news, debt reduction and proper news - not enterprise value, like in the old days when people had jobs and money to buy things!
Yup the fact that it's falling in a rising market is worth noting.
Hillary Kramer said buy SPLUNK a document management company which was recently floated. She said some of the restricted shares will come off restriction later this year and therefore the price will dip about that time.
Sorry, I'll get back to the penny stocks now! lol
RIGATONI I honestly think Facebook has a lot further to fall yet. Personally, I've set myself a price of $20 to buy in or maybe even lower.
I will look at the chart and so some technical analysis, if it gets that low and decide from what I see on the MACD, Bollinger Bands etc whether it has more to fall yet if it gets down to that level.
In all honesty, I think the way they should have floated the company was to work (very hard) on a new strategy to monetise the advertising spend from advertisers. That needs people to interact with advertisements, but people go to facebook to interact socially and empathise with their friends. They, like the rest of us these days, jujst skip over the adverts which we just find annoying as they are not shopping - they are socialising with their friends or looking for new ones.
GM a large advertiser, has recently decided to pull it's adverts from FB. As the book I'm reading has pointed out, people do their socialising on FB, they don't go there to buy things? They may go there to read or post on a company's facebook page and interact with them already, but in my view, if they do that, they will already be a consumer or someone who doesn't want the product of the company before they even get to the page. People go to social media to empathise with each other .... to share their experiences of a product, their world or life in general.
Unless Sheryl Sandberg works out a better way to monetise the advertising, 1) so it can be measured how effective it is and 2)works out how advertisers can add value by to their brands advertising there, the only way I see FB being able to increase it's revenues in the short term is to add value to it's virtual money it sells to individuals.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that the digital money it sells is a significant proportion of its revenues, but is only bought by approximately 2% or so of the users. OK, 2% of 900m people is 18m. However, the only way I see their virtual money being of value to potential advertisers and to bring in revenue is if they find some way to use it to add value to sales of products .... as in maybe someone buys a certain amount of credit which users can then use against purchases from the advertisers.
That, in theory is all well and good. But what I don't see, is the advertising generating sales all by itself!
I have lots of creative ideas al the time! lol Maybe I should email them with that one - but I'm happy not having a facebook page, nor a twitter account either! lol I enjoy keeping my digital footprint as small as I can! lol
Yup it was one to put on my watch list, but if I'm not in before the expected spike, I'm not going to chase it. Experience has taught me to wait and see.
It's a great company. But everyone should have their price at which they will buy. seems like you often get it - eventually. Then wait for the next news to come out, sell half - if it doubles then just wait till the shorter's and what not that prowl these boards get bored with it and go off and find a new toy!
Well I read it more like they will get $1m in revenues. I would guess that the company will be paid on delivery of the product to the company that has ordered it? So revenues will come in over the period it takes to complete the order.
Good news though, very good news indeed, one to put on my watch list as I'm waiting for others to move up before going into anything else.
Good news for the company, I look forward to hearing about orders on the social media side.
Anyone noted the spread .... 0.0036 to buy? What's that about MM's short of stock maybe?
Neuronal, I couldn't agree more. My simple strategy is to just wait till it doubles, sell half the put the rest in a drawer.
I've marked you up.
Kind Regards
Jimmy.
rookie602 hi has the 50 day moving average crossed the 200 day moving average from above or below?
If from below, then it's on a rising trend. If from above, then its on a falling trend.
RULiquid many thanks. Very interesting reading.
I was almost about to buy into facebook today for my 401K, but read carefully the kind of stuff that was being said which made really really good sense. So I watched and waited.
I'll consider facebook if the share price goes down to about $20 or even lower. I'll look at the chart if it gets that low and see what the MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands etc tell me nearer the time.
In some ways, I'm really really glad it didn't spike today as people are taking a good long hard look at tech stocks and giving themselves a good reality check between what is ready to move upwards on expected future development and earnings and what should go down as it isn't clear where their next phase of development lies.
facebook could of course surprise the market with an aquisition pretty quickly but I think their real asset is Sheryl Sandberg. AS has already been said of her, facebook is not her last stop - I think that will be Twitter.
facebook will of course come good, but not because of Zuckerberg - after all, it isn't even his original idea in the first place - was it?
balamidas I never do bet the house, but as I say when the MM's have really been playing their games building up stock levels ready for earnings season this week and everyone is feeling the pain, I'd rather people concentrate on your other excellent tips.
Most of these reverse merger plays, then fall soon afterwards then two weeks later issue a note saying they are indeed working on a reverse merger and will be issuing millions of new shares. The share price doesn't move and then all you have to look forward to is dilution!
Just calling it how I see it.
Yup I have to be honest about my experience of these plays. Unless by some fluke you are in at the very beginning before it starts going up, I'd recommend you steer well clear of them.
I've got caught twice with two others and luckily it wasn't a large amount, but frankly, I might just as well have burned the money I invested or flushed it down the toilet!
As I say, just me experience. Sorry to be so negative, but the very best of luck to anyone who dares to venture in.
Usually, after the huge spike, comes the huge sell off and the price comes crashing down as soon as it went up.
This board is really full of so many excellent plays from balamidas, lets concentrate on those.
Well, I seem to remember it went up 81% on Tuesday? When exactly did you buy in then? lol
Has anyone seen Note 6 from the 10Q filed on 15 May?
NOTE 6 – REVERSE ACQUISITION
On April 14, 2010, the Company, Intelspec and those shareholders of Intelspec holding a majority of its
outstanding shares closed a transaction pursuant to that certain Share Exchange Agreement, whereby the
Company acquired up to 100% of the outstanding shares of Intelspec’s common stock from the
shareholders of Intelspec in exchange for an aggregate of 14,000,000 shares of its common stock. As a
result of closing the transaction the former shareholders of Intelspec held at closing approximately 70% of
the Company’s issued and outstanding common stock.

Well if Cliff is right, which I sincerely hope he is, we will possibly get news after lunch.
So, I've got time to go make dinner and come back to my screen ready for 2pm over there! lol
All longs DO Not sell. The longer we hold the higher the price goes. As the MM's will then have to keep raising the price to interest people in selling or to try and take out people's sell limits.
Don't add stops to your account, as they are recorded electronically, the MM's can see them and know where to drop the price to, to pick up the most shares.
We all know, each morning after a large run, first the share price goes down to take out the stop losses, then it comes back up. Look at today!
sorry silkyballer you too in the longs club.
Good luck everyone, we will have our fun watching the shorter's covering as this shoots back up!
I sincerely hope everyone shorting who reads this looses a bundle. We wish you the largest loss on your bank accounts dear shorters!
I look forward to Dr Newman's predicted share price arriving soon.
Big smiles to my fellow longs - Cliff, nupapa, sinister, guguli and angel to name a few .... and all other longs.
Yup as I've been typing the price has started to go back up - only reason for that would be the market knows that it news is about to be released.
Cheers to my fellow investors.
Some days it seems all the pink sheets are marked down. This seems to be another one of those days.
Yup had to move my order as the price shot up too quick..... got in at 0.0019 but its up to that now.
Sorry, but it hasn't moved for quite some time. I got caught out on TWO's buying in after a huge spike on a potential shell reversal. I'm watching carefully to see what's up before I do anything here.
Last trade of 140K went through at 9:55 or thereabouts, nothing since then.
so what was the pick then? It's not clear from the board?
Um looks like it's stalled huh? If someone bought 18m yesterday ... looks like they got their fill. Today's buying is just PI's?
What does everyone else think?
gman21 best not to tell Dr Newman that you have more voting rights than he does! LOL
I'm in for 635K have been here for a while now. Will this really go to 0.01? Or does that really depend on how good both PR's are?
As you may all remember, Dr Newman told nupapa that there would be news about the merger and other good news too!
Thanks for sharing nupapa.
Jimmy.
sure hope so the sooner the better.
When are we expecting news by? There's a great new board called Pending news in Pennyt land and they asked me to confirm by when we will receive news.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=75569656
I see this with a lot of former star performers where their valuations were more based on what might happen.
These days, the only things that I see moving the price of a pink sheet stock are news of funding, a large reduction of debt, a reverse takeover, a merger, a deal which will make them cash positive (and so on and so on)
But the most important one is - money, cash flow going through the company's bank account. It' all well and good having applied for patents, and having the dtat centres and infrastructure set up all over the world, but if nobody's using it .... then ooops!
Saying that I like the company's USP (unique selling proposition) and will do some more research on what it's been doing to make the share price crash to where it now from the equivalent of $3000 on 31 October 2009!
That can't be right surely $3000?
Yup no really big buys today .... well have fun for those of you who were lucky enough to make money today. By the way, the price didn't hit 38C till about 10am according to OTC markets price chart.

Have fun everyone, I just came to see what the fuss was all about after seeing it on the pump and dump website and the ridiculous rise in price today.
Regards.
IDVC - Infrastructure Development Corporation - impending news of merger.
IDVC is an independent contractor often project managing smaller projects for the US government. These include the construction of things such as secure accommodation for staff working overseas.
They have or are about to announce a merger with a company that works in a very similar area as they do amongst other things. The share price has taken a hammering recently but I believe the deal is done and the company is just completing its due diligence.
They are also actively bidding on new contracts as well, so have a lot going for them.
The new shares have already been issued by IDVC.
Here is the board: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=18972
Hi everyone, I take it everyone found out about this through the pumps and dumps website? Did anyone here actually manage to get in at the bottom before the price went wild.
Just wondering.
I didn't receive an email, but I spoke to Dr Newman twice last week to ask him about when we would hear something. First time was on Monday and he said (at the time) that he expected news to be out last week.
Then when it didn't come out, I phoned him on Thursday and he said he couldn't talk to me at all about anything as it was very close to news coming out.
That ties in with other people's reports from their email exchanges with him. In those he has said (Dr Newman that is) that news wil be out early this week and there will be other good news apart from news about the merger.
Guys, I'm not going to speculate on what it might or might not be. We could go on all day about it.
I'm just going to wait and see what we get. I'm sure we will like it and the movement in the share price which is after all why we are all here.
Yup I think so too. This has a low flaot and Dr Newman has now said twice in separate emails that not only will it be news of the merger but other good news too!
Who knows maybe another aquisition or another tie up with another company which matches our business model very well. Who knows? But, we know we have a lot to look forward to this week.
Better that news didn't come out on Friday. Best to relase it early in the week so the market has time to digest it.
I just wish market sentiment wasn't down today due to the Euorozone. Again! That's why I started investing in pink sheets as the US is at the start of its growth cycle .... Europe is nowhere near!
Well other stocks are about to go into orbit, now it's our turn. It certainly can't be long now?
If anyone wants to dive into AUCI on Monday morning, it looks like news is imminent there too.
Looking forward to our day coming soooooon I think they might even surprise the market and catch the shorter's off guard. Then they will have to cover and buy even more sending the price up more than we would expect.
SECCOTech thanks for such an excellent bard. This is the first time I've read everything at the top because it was so useful and relevant.
You are obviously highly experienced in these matters. I'm very new to the pink sheets, but am hoping for big things from my portfolio.
I wanted to ask you what is an APS pick? No doubt it's glaringly obvious once its explained and I'm sorry if I'm being a bit silly in asking! lol
I look forward to your reply.
Kind Regards, and once again, many thanks.
Jimmy.
New Board - Pending News in Pennyland
Hi everyone, I asked around earlier today (got told off for spaming! LOL) and someone replied with this new board they found this morning.
It's so squeaky clean new that it only has 9 posts!
I thought people might want to follow, sign up or book mark it.
If not, sorry to have troubled you all in reading this. By the way, I can't reply to any more posts today as I used up so many posting the message on multiple boards! lol
Here is the link: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=24994
