To All:
Latest B.S. being spread is that CDEX is going stealth again because they don't want ASD to know how successful CDEX really is. LOL
Who are these people that still feel the need to spread such rumors?
OK Cappy, no more diversions, let's get back on topic:
How many Valimed units have been sold? Has CDEx secured funding? These are the immediate questions investors are asking that need to be answered by management.
The meth gun is irrelevant at this point, in fact, it's an expenditure liability with an uncertain future- another carrot "just around the corner" What CDEX needs has to be in it's grasp, not around the corner. What CDEX needs is funding and Valimed sales.
That is the priority news investors are waiting to hear and hopefully they won't have to wait for the next 10Q to decipher the information.
How much funding has been obtained?
How many of the first 25 production Valimed's have been sold?
Straight questions, please give straight answers for once.

Well... at least I nominate him.
I elect Crow to take over "The Quinton Qronicles".
Gentlemen, Gentlemen....
Let's not beat a dead horse. ELF, as advertised was a scam.
That's why it is no longer around as many of us predicted. If it could have actually performed consistently as reported in those controlled demos it would have had value.
The observers and participants of those demos were either paid-off with consulting fees or hoodwinked into believing the test results had meaning.
Think of all the people that lied and cheated honest folks for personal greed.
Oh well... that's what Karma is all about. It's not a punishment, it's an opportunity. It's a second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th...) chance to correct wrongs to improve one's character.
Some people have a longer journey than others.
End of story.
LOL!! RA, that cracks me up.....
"For each trial, one human test target was inside one of the five crates. The operator had a one-in-five probability of success by chance alone.
.....This series of tests were spread over about four-and-a-half hours of total set-up and test time. There were six successes in 25 trials."
Yes! Dr. Lakowicz, he is the founding editor of The Journal of Fluorescence:

I posted some stuff about him some time ago.

I haven't found Poteet's revolutionary discovery mentioned anywhere yet.

Rotten, why did you label that "OT"?
"Any intelligent investigator should know that testimonials are not scientific evidence. Such testimony should be considered worthless when considering the purchase of allegedly high-tech commercial products."
That is especially true when the people giving the testimonials or reports are paid consultants as was the case for Loch/CDEx.
"In court it was pointed out that the Quadro Detector had been carefully examined and that no "inductors, conductors, or oscillators" were found, though Quadro advertised those as the working parts of its "secret technology." Quadro claimed that theirs were not "ordinary" inductors, conductors, or oscillators. Theirs are of an advanced sort not yet known to "regular science."
Wouldn't that be like Loch/CDEx's discovery of a magical "low atmospheric absorption window for x-rays"; a physical phenomena overlooked by scientist for over a 100 years until discovered by Capnmike's nomination for the Nobel Prize, inventor Dr. Henry Blair?
(Remember Dr. Blair, the guy Dr. Poteet was quoted as being privileged to have the opportunity to work with. Remember Dr. Poteet, the guy that had forgotten that he was the actual inventor of the technology, his memory suddenly coming back to him after the SEC investigation had begun?)
How about Chuck Bagely's description of the Loch/CDEx tech as being like "a kind of new Tide" [laundry detergent]!
Or how about Loch/CDEx apologist, Ontheedge with his explanation for how ELF/EM-1 detected explosives using x-rays:

d4diddy:
"The truly unique aspect of CDEX's work is the discovery (not found by any other research group until CDEX revealed it) that certain co-existing materials that are detectable by x-ray fluorescence are present in all explosives manufactured by all countries in existing landmines.
LOL!!! So how did ELF work if this wasn't discovered until after ELF had already been put on the "back burner" As myself and others predicted it would be.
What happen to all the "New Physics"? LOL
OT: The Iranian-hizbullah plan appears to have backfired from the concensus of neighboring Arab states:

No one was discussing the international meth traffic scene Cappy. That's a different matter entirely. However, I suggest you read Title VII of the Patriot Act more thoroughly on that matter.
It doesn't sound like you want the meth problem to go away anytime soon, at least not until the meth gun may become available in a year or two to save the planet! LOL
In the mean time, aren't land mines still a world problem?
Aren't children STILL being killed or maimed every single day from land mines?
Why haven't you posted any recent news about the land mine crisis and those poor children?
Ohhh yeah, Loch/CDEx isn't peddling that land mine detector anymore!
Ain't no money in land mines anymore!
Gotta move on with something that works.
OT: Rotten...
"I'm putting the honey, bacon tuna on the grill along with some Mahi Mahi."
I never did get that recipe, ya think you could post it one more time?
Even the name sounds delicious! LOL
"The main thrust...if I need to remind you is the control and tracking of meth precursor drugs."
Yes, I gathered that from skimming through Title VII.
Not only are the chemical precursors tracked and regulated, so is the laboratory apparatus. Try to buy a 4000 ml pyrex beaker without signing special parework!
Also, now days 'shade tree' (TM- detroit) chemists are utilizing different synthesis strategies in an attempt to circumvent the closely watched precursor chemicals used with the three standard cook methods.
I get calls occasionally asking if we sale chemicals like manganese dioxide. I'll tell them that we don't sell that chemical and refer them to a supplier that does. The caller will then ask if we can buy it and sell it to him with a mark up for profit. I say no without letting on that I know that chemical is a replacement for one of the hottest watched precusors in meth production.
There are many "replacement chemicals". They're not as common as those used in the standard cooks, but rest assured they're all being monitored closely these days.
Sand, I don't think so. Amazing story and gathering of evidence. I wish someone would put the Loch/CDEX scam into perspective like that.

Or they can just take a back sit and let new front men and stock promoters run the penny stock show...
Excerpt:
"The people who were charged by the SEC, even if they lose their SEC case, will spend no time in jail for that action and then may just do it again, hoping not to get caught. Why? Because the worst the SEC can do is just force you to return the profits that they can locate. Some people believe that it's just smart business to keep doing the scam over and over again since the worst that can happen is that you get reset back to zero, but the best outcome is that the SEC can't find the money and you get to keep it all, even if you lost the suit".
http://www.junkfax.org/fax/profiles/wsp/wsp.htm
It was a chocolate bug and it was Dadoc who ate it- another paid stock promoter.
More paid consultants hired to promote Loch/CDEx products?
I guess he's not going to do it for free. I wonder who's paying him Baxa or CDEx... or both?
Later demmo! EOM
Detroit, we may just give you the "TM" on "shade tree"! LOL
Demmo47, is there any stipulations with your job which would prevent you from doing DD by posting on an investment message board?
I mean, could any type of situation arise such as a COI like when Nasfan was posting on the Loch/CDEX board and at the same time working for a MM actively trading CDEX.
Then how did they have a Army contract as claimed by MP? Don't ALL companies need to be registerd with the CCR to do business with the federal government?
Was CDEx registerd in the CCR when MP announced the Army contract?
Demmo, let's see if capnmike takes the bait and tries to write a letter to your head of contracting. LOL!!
Thank you Demmo. BTW Paige, you do know that Demmo is a federal contracting officer don't you?
You seem to have a problem understanding that the Army and the Navy were not interested in the CDEX spectrometer other than looking at a feasibility study.
Did you also notice the letters in CDEx's patent application file wrappers?
The Army, Navy, Air Force, DOE... all not interested in swooping up the technology by classifing it as "secret" and getting right of first refusal at acquiring it.
Did you read those letters?
Someone needs to inform the author of this report about Loch Harris:
Anatomy of Stock Fraud
This is a description of the largest penny stock pump and dump fraud in US history that I'm aware of: the people involved and how it was done.
Based on months of research and talking with many of the people involved in these stock promotions,
here is my belief of how Bryan Kos and Jeremy Jaynes, Don Oehmke, Tom Heysek, Howell Woltz, Warren Hansen, Jere Ross, and others were involved in a scheme that defrauded hundreds of people out of over $20 million.
Chicken feed.
http://www.junkfax.org/fax/profiles/wsp/wsp.htm
LOL... funny. Absolutely 100% NO!! Even though our resident CDEx stock promoter may post such suggestive fantasies as "detecting meth in the house from the street [LOL]) the answer is NO!
I'm wondering from how many inches away it will be able to detect traces of meth in under 30 seconds, AND what is the effective scan area. If they're using a laser diode, the scan area will be very small IMO.
After viewing a promotional video with the meth gun held two inches over a large pile of white powder, Capnmike and WMFT are claiming the meth gun shoots in 3-6 seconds!! We'll see if that's not just more of their promotional "misconceptions" at work. I say it is.
Maybe if the house containing the kg of meth was on the dark side of the moon, the door was open and the gun had a line-of-sight shot it might detect it from the street- assuming there are no easement restrictions on the moon and the house is situated right next to the curb. ;)
~out (to do stuff)
(Edited... totally) Xeno, IF we ever learn the true performance specs of the meth gun (assumming it makes it into production), then we'll really know how good Timmy's optical package was.
We'll also know the extent of the false and/or misleading information disseminated to Loch/CDEx investors and why MP never fully disclosed the published "CDEx test reports".
The meth gun should represent peak performance!!
Maybe if they could secure some venture capital funding they wouldn't have to use penny stock tactics:
Tucson Company Touting "Meth Gun"
Sand, I know, so was my reply. LOL
Sand, you haven't figured that out yet? Simple.
Sanddollar, when DCH was being used by CDEx to help them develop signatures CDEx PR wording and posts from our resident CDEx stock promoters made everyone believe that DCH had purchased a unit.
ATXMAN turned out to be dead right.
"It will test/detect whatever they have programmed in its library."
LOL Just like ELF? EM-1? PS3?
Ten minute shoot time from an inch away?
The point is HOW WELL will it work?
The Army and Navy didn't think it worked well enough to give CDEX development money.
Meth fluoresces strongly so it is easier to detect than explosives.
Loch/CDEX have abandoned trying to build the panacea of chemical detectors. That concept sold a lot of shares, but no product. They are now developing niche products which are not designed to be "super everything detectors" (TM- d4diddy).
Paige said that at the SHM Griffin talked about eventually having an exchangeable head for the meth gun in order to detect explosives.
What does that tell you?
It tells me that they need a better optical package for explosives- more photon gathering power to compensate for weaker signals.
Why not just incorporate the optics now?
Size and cost, both which are important for the target market.
