Yes of course they will see cuts. They need them to finance the vast effort going on to thwart Pluristem from taking over. Or a contingency plan to pay for lawyers in case their illegal doings come to light. What if all that volume we have seen, is just various big pharma's unknowingly trading to each other, all trying to get the upper hand over the competition. LMAOx1000
Yes big pharma has always been known for being very conservative. They never throw huge gobs of cash on any unproven technology or companies. They would much rather hide in the shadows, manipulating the prices of microcap companies, with their eyes focused on the long ball. It's the latest rage in big pharma techniques. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time any one of them overpaid on something.
Yes I know they would never sell according to you so save it. LMAO.
Well it looks like we enjoyed the run while it lasted, and could be headed for that painful drip. I know this news was not as significant as some of the others recently, but a slight uptick in volume with a drop in price, was our norm for years on any news.
Unless we get some news with some teeth, I dread where this may go. I just don't see us getting anything like that in the near term. Otherwise why do that raise? They clearly stated enough until 1Q19. Yes with contingency plan to do it, but the ATM would have mitigated that you would think.
I sincerely doubt any government contract either stockpiling or trial funding is in the works. Or again, why now with the raise. To use the funds for increasing manufacturing capacity in any significant way, would not make sense to me at all. Any order we could possibly receive (which I doubt) could be handled easily with existing facilities. Then you still have at least 6 months to a year for pivotal trial to be complete.
That whole Lonza thing is even more ludicrous imo. If we have the technology Lonza wants, I wouldn't think we would need cash in any way. They would be forking out the dough for any such thing, making the raise pointless.
I think this raise was done mainly to have enough cash on hand to get this Sosei deal done before the end of the year. They need to get this PMDA fast track living up to its name. Not sure if any data from the ongoing CLI could be used in the Japanese trial. I doubt it but I hope so.
So that is what I think what we will get very soon. Sosei. Not sure if that will have any impact on our price, but we will see.
As always, IMO, and I hope I'm wrong and we get some contract news with some real cash. Something to make US happy by the end of the year. But one thing for sure. Get this pivitol ARS trial on the go ASAP!!!
And you can't forget how close it is to Allo's favorite Pluristem video. Lmao
Little suspicious eh Blue. Reading further almost made me gag. Looking forward to next week to see if we get some news. That after hours mini trade has done well for us in the past. See if it holds true come Monday.
Thanks D, much appreciated. The potential is truly enormous any way you look at it. If everyone who was lucky to get into this recently would just try to truly imagine us being at this same level In 2024, they would feel the same pain as many of us have. And mayby their faith in management would be lost as well. I spend a lot more time than I care to admit on this stock, and I'm truly hoping it will pay off soon. Dying to get some news and see how this stock reacts. Hopefully next week. GLTA longs.
Since there have been a few replies, I will just write one for all. That remark of thousands was not off the cuff in an interview, but an actual press release. Could it have been an expression...possibly. But semantics aside, I will look a little deeper into those numbers.
So I think all would agree that this is not for all, just a certain portion of these patients. If you look at the Phase 1/2 trial, inclusion criteria was for people aged 50 to 75. Now do you think a large portion of the potential candidates would come from that age group? I would tend to think that a vast number of the ones having complications, would come from people 75+. Weaker, less healthy, under active, etc senior citizens.
I think this as my Mom had hip surgery a few months ago, She would fit into that category I just described and she is in her mid 80's. She never walked much at all, with arthritis and knee trouble hindering much of anything for at least the past decade. I was truly expecting an extremely lengthy recovery process. I was amazed that she was walking with a walker to the bathroom within two days. Back home soon after, with a few physio appoints to help with certain exercises. So I'm not sure what state some one would have to be in, to fit this PLX suitable category.
The inclusion criteria, also required an ASA score of 3 or below, 1 being healthiest and 6 being the worst, obviously simplified, but that's the gist of it. Again who would most likely be the ones having difficulty with recovery...the higher class group. Honestly I'm not sure what difference the treatment will make, if someone so extremely weak to begin with, falls and needs hip surgery. If someone is so frail to begin with, is a 500% gain in muscle mass going to make a difference.
That brings me to my final point, and I'm sorry if this seems callous. And maybe if am off base here due to my possible misperceptions of the U.S. health care system. I truly don't understand their system, I'm just blessed with free health care for everyone where I come from.
Would insurance companies be willing to pony up this large amount of money for the people who need this? Many of the people requiring them are very elderly. And what group of society accounts for one the biggest cost to health care providers, the elderly. Now yes hospitalization and all the things that go along with is are super expensive. Now an insurer has to foot the $50,000 bill, and have this person live several years longer costing these insurers more and more money. The morbidity rate is around 20% or 25% I think. And when healthcare is run by big business, I'm not so sure what they would do. It bothers me just to say this truly, but it is a possibility, as horrific as it sounds. We have all heard the many horror stories that come from the U.S.
For these reasons, I don't think this market is as big as others. As Melon stated the number whatever it is, will improve the bottom line. And if the cost of this treatment is anywhere near the $40 to $50 thousand range, it doesn't take much. And yes the market will be growing with the worlds aging population
So yes when Allo through out numbers, I mistakenly took them for something different, at least with my explanation. They through out vastly exaggerated numbers along with false ones, it's hard to keep them straight.
Stox, I do think other potential things related to this hip trial, will of course add significantly to the potential. Sports injuries alone would be huge IMO, and would be more widespread, as the age group would be much younger.
And I have always believed in this product and have never wavered from that. Nothing negative in any of their trials, is incredible. Now with one phase 3 on the go, and another two hopefully to come soon, it's even better. To be at a stock price that we have been at for over 7 years, rests mainly on one person, that has grown to two. I will stand by the end of year promise. Truly I hope if nothing happens this year to at least get us to $2.50 to $3, I want these two out immediately. And I'm sure many others without experience in this industry should as well. An overhaul, just like Sangamo did.
Trying to keep the outrage that people were feeling earlier alive. Don't want to hear more soon soon soon like I have for many years. Want now now now!!! Sorry for the ridiculously long post. Looking forward to hopefully hearing some more thoughts or comments. Sorry Melon, why end a topic that sparks discussion and different viewpoints. As you can tell from this post and others, I like to discuss. Wife sure doesn't like it though.
If it were in the tens or hundreds of thousands like you're saying, why would Zami say thousands worldwide. I could see posaintly in the low tens of thousands, but not hundreds. All I'm trying to get across is its a smaller indication than others we have on the go. Still great, but not the size of ARS or CLI/IC. If that ever gets approved, I would think tendon types of injuries would be much more valuable.
With the total estimate in this space being between $10 and $15 billion, I'm sure these "thousands" of patients are eating up approximately 15% of the entire cost. LMAO. Or is your quantum computer have a few broken qubits again? LMAO
Billions and billions EH! I will take a quote from your fearless leader, the first born twin.
"we believe that this trial will again yield significant results, offering new hope for the thousands of patients around the world who have difficulty healing from hip surgeries due to poor muscle recovery.”
Did you see the key number there? Not hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands. THOUSANDS WORLDWIDE. So even if you were to get 10,000 patients at $50g's, you're talking half a billion. That too is assuming everyone suffering would get treated.
This is NOT for every hip replacement. Only the ones whose recovery is having complications. Sure to get this moving faster would be amazing, and even with the limited number of people this treatment would help, would be some serious coin. But to say governments all over the world will save billions and billions is false, yet again.
Laugh and make jokes on my expense, no worries. As long as it eventually sets in that most of what is commented on by these posters using the same handle, is false way more often than correct. It's too easy to show time and time again with actual DD. And if some actually did this, they would know as well.
No it doesn't. But that's your opinion and enjoy.
Lol. I guess you like being misinformed then right. Head in the sand type I guess. Lmao
I even did the real DD for you and you still don't get it. Did you even read my post or just get to I/C number and just do the freak out? Just like I said. So go back and do some DD by reading my real DD and then I'm sure you'll come back with the same tea leaf number of 172. LMAOx1000
Your claim that Pluristem has injected well over 200 humans with 1 known adverse event is once again incorrect and I will show you below. May be close to 200 as it is an estimate, but your "well over" claim is baseless.
First of all, I am going to eliminate the current CLI and HCT trials because we don't know how many have been enrolled, and we certainly don't know if there's been no adverse events.
PAH phase 1 trial... 9
Hip phase 1/2 trial...20
CLI U.S. phase 1/2... 12
CLI Germany phase 1/2...15
Compassionate Use...3
IC phase 1/2....135
For a grand total of 194.
So before you go off on a tangent, the I/C trial is an estimate of sorts. Originally, the trial was supposed to be for 150 patients. Of those, 20 left the trial early, hence the call to enroll 20 more. And I would think it's safe to assume 2 of those additional 20 also left early, requiring 2 more to get full enrolment.
So we will keep that trial at 150. But now you must remember that there were 4 arms to that trial, one being placebo. I have given a the placebo arm a conservative number of 15. That would allow for 45 PLX dosed and 5 placebo for each group. I realize placebo is not in each group, but it puts it in relative terms to show that it would be a reasonable number, and possibly on the low side. I also threw in 3 compassionate use, which most likely shouldn't be there.
So for you to say well over 200 is shown to be incorrect. It is close, and it is a lot of people. But not what you claim.
Another mistake you make yet again, is insinuating that just because they originate from the same cell, the same safety results are assured. You have claimed this many times in the past.
I don't think any lab technician, investigator, or FDA/PMDA/any agency in this world would agree with that. Tweaking it in any way, changes the cell in some way. That's why the safety issue was a yes I'm the HCT trial.
We have zero known patients treated with R18, and likewise have zero human safety data. Do I think it will be the same as PAD. Yes. But until we see something factual, it's just a guess. Try doing some real DD for once. LMAOx1000
Well now that the dust from the beginning of the week has settled, our volume has as well. And a lot more of these 100 to 200 share trades throughout the day. If our volume dries up some more, these stupid trades will start to serve their purpose once again.
I'm anxious to see some news, something similar to what we've had of late. Will it have the same effect that it has had lately? A run of 15 cents or more, with a substantial increase in volume and holding it at close. Or will we be back to a slight run, then close to break even at close, with mediocre volume.
Really hope for a run on our next news release. If not, this recent run was just a collaborative effort to manipulate the price for the purpose of the raise and the ATM, imo. Good for that purpose at least. But it will be disheartening to say the least if we start drifting back to where this run started.
Would really be helpful if management would provide a serious update on their strategy going forward. No 3 page update, but some real info on all that is being questioned here. Some updates on enrolment numbers would be fantastic. Status on pivotal NHP ARS trial, HCT, NYBC, Fukushima. I truly don't think that's too much to ask. We are being left in the dark, especially considering all that has transpired of late. Shareholders truly deserve it.
I will email Karine as suggested yet again. Maybe this time I will get a response. Hopefully others do as well about wanting a corporate update that has some teeth. Also, I did get my first response from Efrat on Sunday. Maybe that will be a sign of things to come when it comes to this whole topic.
That would be a great place to announce some BIG NEWS huh Allo. Lmao
Wow if we got an $80 million cash infusion and maintained this price, that would be incredible. Unfortunately I i get to do is LMAO. At least you dropped your even more ridiculous idea that this was raised with only 9 million shares of dilution. I guess you realized that was totally ridiculous and mathematically impossible...even for quantum computers using forcast modulating, differential analyzing, measured distribution algorithms with a double back flip and a stuck landing thrown in!!!
Unfortunately we will get a couple more weeks on this subject until the quarter is released. Like talking to a stick I say.
Looking at the HCT trial, I noticed participants are to be followed for a year. So I would imagine they would have to wait a year before interim results could be given wouldn't they? Could they give 6 month results? I don't know. Anybody have any idea if that would be possible that is actually familiar with this subject. No "of course Betty Lou's" please. If it is a year, that would explain the delay in seeing interim results, but not their original 2H17 milestone statement, that's no longer there. If that IS the case, that should never have been put in there as it would be impossible to achieve. Guess we will just have to wait and see like always.
Sorry buddy we have zero factual evidence of any humans being treated with PLX R18. Sure the trial has been going on for 9 months, but who know when or how many have been treated. Really could be none as well...doubtful...but possible. Still waiting for interim results that have yet to come. WhT is the holdup for this issue!!!
I stand corrected. Made my point more valid thank you!!!
Yes six months and nada. Really 4 months but your incorrect statement sounds better.Do you just pull dates and timeframes out of a hat, or do you let the tea leaves be the deciding factor. For an incredibly important product that's a lifetime.
Just put the tail between the legs and let them pay for the trial. Just get it started already and hope the trial is a success. Time is of the essence, There are others in this space and it's time to start moving. Can't wait 2 years on this one like we have with Japan. We definitely don't want more dilution while we wait for your negotiating prowess to kick in. Enough's enough!!! Let the technology shine, since management can't.
I hear you on that one. As tempting as it is, I can't pull the trigger on doing the same. So an apology having to wade through my posts on similar rebuttals to them and the several other handles their boiler room uses. I do in the very least, try to add different scenarios, speculative or not. But they do have possible merit to much of what I post.
It was good to have a little momentum of the upward kind of late. But hopes fade, at least near term, and reality sets back in. Really don't want to see us drift back down to the $1.40's or lower. Get to a price in the mid to high $2's by the end of the year, and I will be happy(ier). I just don't see what big news would be coming near term. Any big news right now, would just open up a new can of worms as to why this raise was done, given the location of our beloved twins. Just seems strange and of course IMO. After reading about the TASE, I can in the very least, see why the ATM was not eligible for Israeli investors, and why ithis recent raise was done via this auction.
What I seem to think will happen, will be the start of the pivitol NHP trial. No development funding, just the cost of the trial. Still would be great as this thing needs to get going ASAP, but would also give a reasonable explanation of why this raise may have been done. So we have more than enough cash to last through this trial. Looking forward to their next quarterly release, but not their 3 page update.
Couldn't agree more. Why are we not surprised? Past performances by the twins. You did forget one promise they may actually achieve within 2 months, which gets closer as each day passes. The change saying 2017 won't be our year.
That's one poster I wish would ONLY copy and paste. Cheers.
Well I guess now that the dust has settled, we are not holding above the offering, and with the lower that normal volume of late, I imagine we may go back to the painful drip. It succeeded in one thing aside from raising a couple of quarters of cash. It managed to suck the momentum we had going, right out of this stock.
Thanks D. The sanctity of this board is in question when posters are allowed to post downright lies. I may not agree with all that is said on this board but at least I don't let outright lies go unchallenged. I vent yes, but with facts or realistic concerns and thoughts. Maybe I should just keep my thoughts about this company bottled up. Just don't be surprised if you hear about an exploding human from North of 48.
Wow am I the only one who's going to stand up for the ignorant posts on this board today. I am, after all the board "basher" right. As long as it's just me putting this garbage down, it must be true.
Midas, Spidey, Know ur stocks. Anyone.
Did we do a raise of $80 million with a dilution of only 9 million shares.
Are we partnered with the government? Not at all. DOD is conducting a trial. Not one time in that release did they use the word partner. Sure it could be construed as a partnership of sorts. But a real partnership, no. And no partnership with regards to ARS NHP trial.
An astounding no to Lonza. Laughable to say the least. And yes the same goes with Sosei and the rest of Asia.
We got CHA. Yay!!!
Maybe if it comes from a more optimistic poster, they will be silenced on these ridiculous posts.
Yes thanks for the post Midas. Still, the way this was done makes no sense IMO. Is it not feasible, that some Amarican Tutes bought directly from one of the 3 firms hired for the ATM? Even of not directly, indirectly in some way. I'm not familiar with the workings of an ATM, but if any of this is possible, it basically was a slap in the face for them. Totally unfair advantage for the Israel investors. Maybe someone with more knowledge can put my theory down. Please do as I'm not too happy if that's the case. Much rather please the much larger tute possibility in America than Israel. This is under the assumption the ATM was in use.
And anyone else notice Innovative is STILL in the prospectus!!! Chinese deal must still be on the table!!! "So you're telling me there's a chance". Great job management!!! Hope it doesn't lead to lawsuits for misleadimg the public.
Run Lovers Run!!!
Wow they raised $80 million and only diluted by 9 million shares. That IS amazing. This company breaks all the rules when it comes to common economic principals. Maybe they DID come up with a 50 qubit quantum computer to turn this universe upside down!!! Go Pluristem!!!
Run Lovers Run
Of course by them owning 8 million shares, half being gifted while we get shafted, would make them want this company to be successful. The BIG question is, does owning 8 million shares mean they know how to run this type of business. An emphatic NO!!!!
Impatiently shortsighted??? Seven years impatiently shortsighted. Don't think so. Seven years burned is what I would call it. This was our "promised year" but by the looks of it, just call me impatiently shortsighted for 8 years.
So let me ask you a few questions about some of their amazing business prowess.
Do you think this Sosei deal was a good one? $11 million to start up Newco. Give up 70%. Is this the sort of deal that others should be worried about. Or do you think they kind of get laughed at now when they ask for an actual real partnership should go for.
And how about the 2 year delay and counting, getting this Japanese fast track thing going. What's the point of bragging about it if you can't get it started. Fast track....sure
Do you think it was a good idea to let the government pay for doing their trials, or would you rather have had them get a $50-$300 MILLION developmental contract like others in the ARS space did. I would definitely call that one, SHORTSIGHTED!!! Now finally, you're going to come back and ask for $50 million. Is the government playing hardball with the twins? Possibly. Something's going on as it's been 4 months since dosing trial's been done.
Do you think we would have needed to do three dilutions in "our" year of they had gotten this contract. I think if they were ever awarded that contract, our share price would be significantly higher. The kind that would make ONE raise, less diluting and affording the company several years of cash, rather than less than half a year.
Do you think a company with limited amounts of cash, should have 2 CEO's, cut from the same Elbit Vision System cloth, earning what, half a million each? Idiotic and a little nepotistic don't you think? Half a million a year that decision has cost us. Has it done anything to further us along. Embarrassing is the way I see it. Hey Mr. CEO. I know there's only one of you and two of us. I don't know how you can run a company all by yourself. Let's negotiate. Twins is the most fitting nickname ever given. Lmao.
Do you think having the same share price as seven years ago is something we should all be happy with?
Do you think they DESERVED to get that 2 million share bonus, essentially doubling the number of shares they own. Don't you think that puts a sour face on the shareholders of this company, and others looking in from the outside. And to have the board not look at other companies in giving out this gift was pure genius. Then the next quarter, when there was nothing of relevance to this issue, they magically do. Laughable. More nepotism going on there,,,,no way...couldn't be...could it? Did we get a partnership from it. Nope. Did we get a contract from it? Nope. Was it deserving for any sort of accomplishment they achieved? Nope. Did we get a significantly higher share price from it? Hell no!!!!
I gave an example of Sangamo recently, where they revamped management with all but the CFO having vast pharma industry experience. A quadruple in share price, the following year. Now scroll through our management's bio's and see their experience. Polar opposite. Do you think they should have hired more from Elbit Vision Systems plethora of employees (we have 3 in management alone) or should we have hired employees with vast PHARMACEUTICAL experience?
So please answer my questions. Not just a general overview of my apparent impatiently shortsighted views, but YOUR view on the EXACT topics I brought up.
How people could keep standing up for these twins is beyond me. Like I said before, love blinds I guess. LMAOx1000
Run Lovers Run
Fixated on the past. Of course we are. How else is one able to judge management and how they are doing. Maybe we should go back to the twins heydays together at Elbit Vision Systems.
They have consistently missed any targets. They have consistently avoided having CC's like a vast majority of other companies. They have given themselves HUGE bonuses while we are left in the dark. They have 2 freaking CEO's. Never even heard of that until they announced it. Mostly bad reviews on that structure. They have promised partnerships for years. They go to a zillion trade shows for what. So the same people can watch them over and over and over again. They have the transparency of a brick wall. They have been wrong on pretty much every timeframe they have ever stated. They have diluted THREE separate times in three different ways this year alone!!! And the real kicker...they have done an R/S before, so that can never be off the table.
So if you don't want to look at the PAST, which is the best way to gauge how they have run a company, what are you going to look at. The product? Yes great product. Should have been much farther along, they just lack the skills to negotiate a good contract. $11 mil for Sosei!!!! Woohoooo management. We'll get em next time guys...that was in the PAST(or the present actually since they haven't managed to close it) LMAO
So if one was going to do a renovation on their house, would one want to see references to about PAST projects they did? Why bother with resumes for jobs...it's all in the PAST. Would you hand a recovering drug addict some drugs? Ahhhh. That was the PAST. Maybe that should be a new strategy to get through life. Forget about anything you ever learned because it was learned in the PAST. Wish the twins would be in the PAST. That's one PAST I would never look back to again!!!
Got to absolutely LOVE those twins running the ship EH!!!! LMAOx1000
Excellent point Blue. It may not be their fault though. Their ability to sell to support the price as per Allo, may be skewing their ability to understand supply and demand.
It's pointless EichKing. Sometimes people are just too in love with things. Only comparison I can make is a teenage girl's first love with a "bad boy". No tearing them apart, just have to let it go and hope one day they wake up and smell the coffee. You can make tons of valid points on Pluristem's inept management, but love blinds sometimes. And some love the twins a little too much.
Here's some possible uses for the new funds we got.
We could use it to pay a potential partner to partner with us. Maybe then even the twins will be able to make that happen.
We could use it to fly out more help for all the newly added shows they're going to. Gets lonely at those conferences.
We could use it to open up new clean rooms in Haifa, to show Lonza we're serious about setting up this global manufacturing beast of a partnership to handle all their MSC production for anyone whose not our competitor. And they get us as a client to boot. Win win, but may be several years before the bioreactors get turned on. But definitely shows good commitment!
But then again, maybe it's just so they can reach the cash on hand to finally close this Sosei deal so they can get this 2 year delayed, Japanese fast track trial on the go. You know the one where they will pay the whopping $11 million to set up "Newco". You know, the kind of partnership that that people didn't want to hand out for a low price. You know, the kind of contract that has big pharma shaking in their boots when the twins come walking into the boardrooms for partnership talks. "Hey!!! Eyes up here buddy. I'm not happy to see you. Just where I keep our company secrets."
Too bad any of the recent Tutes purchases just got slammed...big time. Wonder how many will cut their losses and bail. I'd be surprised is we close above $1.50 today.
The only gift was to management cronies in the raise.
So I guess we are going to take it on the chin today aren't we. A giant slap in the face from our beloved twins.
How do all those people feel who were saying thanks for the little pullback...picked up more shares. Wish you waited for the twins' bombshell now eh. Sure some of you will say oh it doesn't bother me at all. But you can always say it's an even better moment now.
If they had done this raise without the ATM in place, would be ok. With that thing there I don't get it. What about the 3 firms they hired? Do you think they were just selling anonymously into the market? Or do you think they were selling/promoting it to their clients. With our current rise in price, I think it was the latter. But I wonder how they feel now. Especially when this raise was for Israel only, and they go a substantial discount, which in turn, discounted your newly bought shares. Do you think they may have gotten any tutes to decide to come on board? Again big money, bigger ego's and powerful companies. Ones who don't like getting screwed over. Are we going to have several Sabby types in the near future.
Even just when it seemed like we were getting some institutional investors finally coming on board. Wonder what they think about this raise.
Capital equipment argument is nothing but a joke. They basically covered all bases with what the money will be used for. Should have thrown in salaries, and trade shows and of course this big one...bonuses. Hey if the twins gave back their 4 million share bonus, this pill would be easier to swallow. Again I just shake my head at anyone to tries to back these clowns.
Everyone knows my views on management, and imo they are well deserved criticism's. But to quote a line from a fitting movie, "just when I think you couldn't be any stupider, you do this...and totally redeem yourself"
Run Dumb and Dumber run...really you better run right out that door!!!
Thanks Kronberg. Where did you get this info?
So they are doing a raise for a price of $1.52? Warrants attached? There had better be a lot more to this story than that. Could have easily raised $15 to $20 mil from the ATM in the past couple months imo.
There had better be an amazing reason for this need of significant funds.
Government development contract fall through? Is there an imminent need to raise funds for expansion of facilities? Doubt that or something could be released first to improve price dramatically before the raise. Better be some sort of no R/S clause put in there.
Why is the raise being done only in Israel, if that is actually the case? Letting some of their "acquaintances" get in on the ground floor? This raise being done so they have enough cash on hand to close Sosei deal finally, which would suck. So many damn questions that we will have to wait and see. All I know is if we are sitting at the $1.50 range come Monday morning, I'll be pissed to say the least.
Boiler room must be shut down early Sunday morning. Tea leaves would be all over this with a vengeance.
