Cant find anything about materials being used
FYI - there are 3 different modules that I’ve seen the newest one is identical to the one in the pic, the other two were for lack of a better term ‘cheap’ the new one looked like a better product. These products are used is mass and could add to the liquidmetal fund rapidly.
Also these products need to be built with strength and heat in mind, the fiber lights leaving the main offices that push 10gb+ will be ‘hot’ ;) I’m not sure if we are there ‘yet’, although 10gig is not too far off.
This caught my attention because of it’s relation to 5G, I scrolled to the bottom of the page and read liquid metal alloy - however this is probably in regard to the state of the alloy as opposed to the branding.
I have seen the 5G equipment and optical modules for fiber connects, it’s tough to say but I don’t think there is any 106 at play right now...Take with salt I’m not a metallurgist the connectors looked strong and intricate, but did bend when force was used.
