Reporter: As the leading enterprise in the domestic zirconium metal industry, what is the current zirconium industry layout and future development plan?
Xia Peng: Since 2000, the company has mainly engaged in zirconium-related industries, with a production capacity of electrofused zirconia exceeding 20,000 tons, making it one of the largest production bases in the world. The taste of electrofused zirconia produced has reached 99.8%, and the world's leading technology, mainly used in ceramics, refractories, brake pads and other fields. In order to seize the development opportunity of new zirconium-based materials and continuously enrich the depth and breadth of products, in 2018, we acquired Liaoning Huazirconium, a sponge zirconium production enterprise focusing on the downstream of electrofused zirconia. At present, we have built one of the largest sponge zirconium production bases in China and even Asia, with an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons after the completion of the second phase. In 2020, with the help of a good financing platform of listed companies, we issued 205 million yuan of convertible bonds, providing strong financial support for the Oxygen Clohua Zirconium Project with an annual output of 20,000 tons (planned product of 100,000 tons, planned to be built in two phases). The project is expected to be put into production at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
