Nice. Waiting game to see how 2x plays out. I feel strongly enough about lqmt I stayed in here instead of expanding my crypto holdings.
Agreed. We need to let this play out nothing has changed.
I took a pic before I realized I couldnt
2019 remember?
I was thinking this is a bitcoin effect.
Most important thing I know now:
Buy more shares, don’t sell any. I mostly missed out on .06 cents because I didn’t have any money set aside for it when it came. I have been adding to my share this week. Picked up more this morning.
No new tangible news, so what the deal? I think folks who were looking for a quick buck are selling. There are other plays that are faster than paint drying. Take bitcoin for instance. Up almost 100% this month. I considered selling some LQMT to go into it, but I am very long. I am waiting for the quarterly report and beyond.
Nothing has changed this week except emotions. I try to follow what Warren says, so I bought more today. Shooting for that extra 30k shares. We are implementing the plan one step at a time. New facility, paid for, no debt. Real plans in place. We are still in the strongest position we have ever been to become profitable. This sleeping giant may sleep a bit longer.
No news is good news until it is not.
My ideas remain to be proven
Orders are being processed today.
Revenues are increasing.
Contract announcements may come at any time, not ruling them out.
Quarterly reports may telegraph orders before a PR.
LQMT will not be profitable in 2017.
Medical contracts on the way from multiple companies.
One medical company may account for several parts.
There is more than one medical company in the pipeline
8-12 Engel machines have been sold to major companies.
Some of these may be in Europe.
Apple has procured their own machines in addition to this number.
I am buying more in the morning. Spit in a bucket, but I would like to add 40,000 shares to my holdings.
I have heard that operation called "taking candy from a baby".
Well I'm holding! Trying to understand this play. Best info I can put together is this looks like a reverse merger which gets to combined company in front of US investors. This could be very very good.
Is that is US or Yaun?
Where did you see that?

iWatch will use Liquidmetal Liquid Metal Materials 7
Published: 2017-10-30 19:02:06
The use of Liquidmetal Liquid Metal Materials Apple has been using liquidmetal liquid metal materials for nearly three years of experience. In theory, Liquidmetal liquid metal can make Apple equipment more thin, more flexible
The But the neural fuzzy body, Liquidmetal liquid metal production process is too complex, so that Apple has only used it to make the iPhone's SIM card pin
The But Apple seems to have got this problem, it is possible to use this material on iWatch. "This piece of" Bulk amorphous alloy sheet forming processes "was approved on July 16th, patent number 8485245 B1, according to the report of Apple's patent. The Liquidmetal liquid metal has a very high value in the manufacture of electronic equipment, as described in the patent document. iPhone, portable web browser (such as iPad), computer monitors and portable music playback equipment can use this material slag wire. The description also states that this material can also produce "watches or clocks". This indicates that Apple may try to use the material to produce rumors in the smart watch iWatch. The material is difficult to produce, and difficult to widely used. Patent documents that the fatigue stress, the use of this technology factory continuously working for 15 years of solder spacing, each year can only produce a long 6000 km, 0.1 mm -25 mm thick, the widest 3 m LIquidmetal liquid metal. We are concerned not only how Apple will use Liquidmetal liquid metal, but also how much of these liquidmetal liquid metals can produce each year to produce the iPhone and iWatch. Yes I meant it as "that's a surprise!!!!"
Wth, that's a surprise???
Where is the link?
I say it better not be like that and yes I agree that there is one person both responsible and accountable.
Maybe I am describing a matrix org. In my company we are all accountable for sales, responsibility varies. In this case to use more precise language. I hold all three acountable. Hauck's responsible to be sure. TWT
Good morning Liquidmetal and a fine morning it is. A bit windy here in the Northeast, hoping it will blow in more work and may be a contract or two. No new tangible news since the COO announcement and the OH before it. All eyes turn to the quarterly reports and the news feeds for the anticipated PR we all hope to see.
So what do we know? Li set out his plan in "Commanding the world's respect". Now he is implementing it one step at a time.New facility, paid for, no debt. More machines onshore, machines offshore, plans to manufacture. Real plans. I dont think anyone who went to the OH has a single doubt of the capability to manufacture. We are arguably in the strongest position we have ever been to become profitable.
Still the wait is excruciating. I think in this case no news is good news until it is not. So again we look to the future. Its hard not to compare whats happening today to what has happened in the past. Yet to be successful we must focus on the future opportunities. "Eontoc is the only company in the world that can produce molding bulk metallic glasses (another name for amorphous alloys), which are used in consumer electronics, automotive and healthcare sectors."
This is the gold nugget we have for a great running future with this company. Yes we are delayed a bit. I for one had expected to see break even in 2017. With the additional investments that probably wont happen. Yet I cant argue with those investments. I just dont have the data. So again I am left with what we know and trusting that the team will push the ball into the end zone. I do believe, which is why I started accumulating more shares this week.
"We are now planning to enter the US market and become a leading player," said Li. I look forward to this. This is called a $30 billion market, what part of that market will be ours and how will that affect our PPS is the question on my mind. Ride unicorns, ride.
Not quitting my day job any time soon. Preparing for a Nor'Easter today, hoping my flights to Toronto get out on time. Stay safe and dry if you are in the Northeast.
Great question. I wouldnt rule out a R/S, but I think it can be done without it. The key there is the number of shares really in play. It is probably less that 500m that really could change hands or would. Someone else posted a couple days about this. In my mind that narrows things down a bit. Let's say that half of those are really long term holders. That leaves just 25% or 250m that could be moving in and out. Once this thing heats up I expect to see a significant rise over two years. especially once the mainstream joins in. Could you imagine what a Motley fool article might do or something like it?
Get better soon and post when you can sunshine! Was worried you were alone in your apartment or something.
I follow you.
I was thinking by the end of the year, plus or minus. Now I think that could be delayed a quarter. I base this the admission that with the new purchases of machines being an increase cost this year which will delay being cash flow positive. I think still a chance for for it, just lower. At the same time I think the future is even brighter, so I believe in the $4-5 price even more. How about you?
I know LQMT has a lot going for it. Even with all these doubts you said it best, some of this will take time. So I have adjusted my timelines a bit. I still think there is an opportunity for a huge movement to the upside. right now focused on the quarter. I am certain that we will see something tangible there. Someone brought up the graduate the other day quoting "plastics will be the next big thing". I think LQMT is like that, once the damn bursts watch out. Just think if you had taken that advice then and where you would be now. It all depends on what we hear and what kind of contracts will be announced. Foolish to move without knowing more specifics
on where this could go. Could cause one to leave a HUGE amount on the table. All we need is some significant contract that sets the stage for the future.
I've even started thinking about a orange Lamborghini, though I doubt I would buy one. Maybe a nice used Acura?
It's all a guess, lol. I would love to have more detailed data to do a better calc. Chasing the ghost :)
Agree, they are gearing up for some serious production. I estimate $4-8m in revenue from the 8 machines, plus licensing, plus larger orders farmed out to Eontec. All a guess but in the right neighborhood. I spend a lot of time in Missouri. ... so show me!
Gorgol - you out there?
If anyone has Sandy's contact information, would you mind checking in on him and letting me (us) know he is ok? just checking.
Josh - not sure 100% utilization will be the case, but why would I need two more machines if the first two satisfy demand? We were led down the path with the punctuation of two outlines on the floor for the new machines and several employees saying they are ordering 2 more next year. As you say twt.
Gosh darn it! I just bought more too. Bought some extras with pocked change but those 1500 shares are going to be worth $30k when I sell them!!!
There is one scenario I considered. I think someone else mentioned it too. It may be an order requirement to have the equipment in place prior to an order being issues. To prove capacity. A order could still be imminent regardless, just the timing. As previously stated we are under the impression medical orders are imminent for 4 parts, 3 of which are LM, 1 MIM in 2018. TWT

Don't forget cast. There are three types of mfg. The Engel is for the high precision high cost items. Now the eontec machines will do some heavy lifting too. I believe they can use all three types to make money.

Nice one! Thanks for posting. I'd like to see a finished product. Sounds like armored non metal parts in the future.
Agreed. I think this supports hopeful's scenario of companies purchasing their own machines and handling their own manufacturering. Though not necessarily who owns the machines.
From talking with Engel at the OH they would not confirm how many lqmt machines were shipped and to who. However they did confirm that "several" large companies had purchased them for inhouse manufacturing. I came back believing 8-12 machines at least are out there. How that turns out in the end I don't know. I seem to remember seeing posts here that said lqmt would receive royalties in that case. Not necessarily from Apple but from other companies. Can someone confirm that scenario?
Like someone else said right up to a $1.
Marked. They indicated the same at the OH.
