it's disruptive to call a company as much as you folks seem to call.....also for them to put out information before it is authorized by either party could easily violate their confidentiality agreement...also the SEC does not like company's who JUST put out news. They want the news substantiated. I will tell you one thing...you couldn't be more wrong to organize a telephone campaign to disrupt a company into issuing news...to summarize:
confidentiality agreement
SEC rules
IF this company has any information to put out it will come out hopefully within the guidelines of their business agreements and the SEC rules. Violate SEC rules with nonsense PRs and they come in and direct the stock to the grey market if they don't like what's going on.
where's this New Bedford plant at?

LOL so many of these stocks have taken major uturns...i feel like DD is useless these days....but I did start looking at it for a 'what the heck' play! a perfect example is mrdaf (this stock) looked promising and then went in the wrong direction. I'm hoping it comes back this year.
wonder how many of the 66mil shares o/s is owned by folks connected with UPZS? directly or indirectly? With the volume that traded I would have thought the price would have gone up unless folks holding the o/s shares were dumping into that 'run'? has anyone done an analysis of the float since 1/1/2012?
when you look at those figures, the 'float' as an example and think
that prior to 5/10 there were 2500 shares for every one share showing in that float today....example: if i had 25000 shares in 4/10 in 5/10 after the 1 for 2500 reverse split i had 10 shares.....and the float is 15,7ll,633 as of 3/6/12 according to your info that's equiv
to 15,711,633 x 2500 in April of 2010 prior to 1 for 2500 reverse split? Am I in the right path for these figures?
how many in the 'float'....that would be the measurement to go by?
I'm not sure of the technicals on that...but there is an answer out there...either they did or they didn't!
http://www.globenewswire.com/newsroom/headlines.html
put in UPZS for search term.....how many of these materialized and
how many of those are still available?
did his shares r/s one for 2500 back in May 2010 like the other shareholders did?
if you had 2500 shares you'd have 1 so yes
ck the reverse split it for 1/2500 in May 2010...

can we piece together what we know of UPZS history since the opening of it's first store? How many franchises survived? How many failed? How many shareholders lost money......what happened to the money collected from selling shares? How much money did James Vowler receive personally? his family members connected with the franchise? Garland Harris? How much franchise money had Jim Vowler collected? Where did that money go? So many questions we don't have answers to? Can folks now get Jim Vowler to put out data for his current efforts or will they be behind the pinsheet fence again? Any business can announce they are starting again. The question is WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT? WHAT WILL BE REPORTED IN THE PUBLIC FINANCIAL ARENA?
here's the link to that video....the video was a riot altho as with many UPZS investors very sad ending

do any of these promissary notes play into today's UPZS financial dealings?

does anyone have a link to the video where the lady invested and the news station carried her horror when she found empty offices in the building? I think it might have been in PA?
how many franchise folks lost money investing in Unique Pizza?

ok i was going by the idea that it looked like some activity was starting
your response has nothing to do with my post....
wait and see.....at least one thing we know...there's still some life in this company
when I went to the 'investors page' I saw they stated we are currently listed 'xxxx' and we plan to go 'xxxxxx' (paraphrased)
I thought by the definition on this page they were planning to go to another level of listing (under news/investor relations)
http://www.otcbb.com/FAQs/otcbb_faq.stm
what do you think?
note comment on Investors page of that site.....where we're listed and where they intend to list
ok I got it from installing market after rooting...thanks for that info. I'll read it now....more than likely there are a ton of folks on here who don't know how to do these things and are just scrambling to find the first thing that works, eg......I found what I was looking for here...
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=68601632
then pursued what I had to do....if there's an easier way maybe that could just be noted in sticky or information box....for the iPhone/iPad I simply went to the app store and it was a one step click
that's good to know.....you mean you can put Android Market on the Kindle Fire without rooting it?
Is it as simple? Maybe a few instructions here for the Android impaired like me!
Thanks Erwin...nice job on what I've used so far.
I use IHub App on the iPhone, iPad and now the Kindle Fire....for any purpose I'm using it for looking for quotes, reading boards, news, etc. the apps work great...I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1...haven't tried it there yet...I had to root the Kindle Fire in order to get Android market on it...what a trip that was. I've never done that before but with the help of youtube videos and a ton of hours of trial and error I got 2 Kindle Fires hooked up nicely to Android Market and will be accessing iHub on both.....I didn't notice a board search like on the desktop version....is there one?
good question...is UPZS still in business? If yes where are they selling pizza these days?
Does any of Laidlaw's (LLEG) sale value depend on this plant being operational?
"the SEC saw something they had questions about and there have been changes"
that was my understanding.
"it can be reasonably presumed that the SEC has adequate EVIDENCE to suspend a stock"
I was surprised at your post saying they had evidence....I never saw that statement in the public arena by the SEC. Thanks for clearing it up.
lurker I posted to Renee to back the post with facts....so let my conversation continue in that direction. Thanks.
it must be public if Renee posted it...or maybe just assuming? I was trying to find out the facts
"The SEC believes and has EVIDENCE that Laidlaw disseminated inadequate and inaccurate press releases concerning the company's operations, and the SEC believes and has EVIDENCE that Laidlaw submitted inaccurate Financial Statements. The more severe offence is that the SEC believes and has EVIDENCE that Laidlaw illegally sold stock by stock promotion on false news releases and inaccurate Financials. "
where's the "evidence" stated? I see the 'questions' part...
"they were being asked to take a 20 month PPA, while their new competitor gets a 20 yr PPA."
that was my first thought
